Reviews for Deltour Hôtel Cahors

Review 1:Could not get Wifi although it was advertised as free Wifi. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. Local tax not included in the price. Pillows very uncomfortable.

Review 2:Lots of hot water, friendly staff.

Review 3:On a 7 day road trip, just having a clean comfortable room waiting is great. Nothing memorable, a nice breakfast, good shower, and extra pillows with no hassle. Very friendly staff. Very much worth the price.

Review 4:No lift - lots of stairs to 1st floor - glad did not have to lug suitcases any higher!

Review 5:It was easy to reach. Beds comfortable and clean Excellent shower - plenty of soft towels

Review 6:No coffee, etc in the rooms or a drinks machine available. That would have been nice, but it wasn't a problem. Having the BBC 24 news on the TV would also have been good, but again it was no big deal.

Review 7:A garage in which to lock my bike away. Lots of items to choose from at breakfast. Close to main roads, which as a biker is paramount for me!

Review 8:The hotel is located in a semi industrial estate and lacks any atmosphere, views or outside seating. Although widely advertised the airco in the room is hopeless. No control and 22 Celcius is coldest possible even after 6 hours running. To hot for the night.

Review 9:The hotel location is great for visiting Cahors center. Only 6 minutes by car. Good parking at the hotel and easy access to autoroutes into the country side.

Review 10:At 9.00 in the morning the housekeeper knocked really STRONGLY at our door, asking if she could clean the room, so also if we were really tired she waked us up and we couldn't sleep. Unacceptable!!

Review 11:Air conditioning did not work.

Review 12:Very nice lady helped us with the problems in the hotel. If it wasn't for her, our staying there would have been awful.

Review 13:We felt misinformed in that everything told us that the hotel was in Cahors, which it was not.

Review 14:It was a relief to find a bed. Comfortable, welcoming. Breakfast adequate. Above all, la patronne appreciated that, sans voiture, we could not stay at the same hotel. Accordingly she telephoned a friend, another hotelier in the centre of town and got us out of our problem. This single gesture made our stay in Cahors possible.

Review 15:The entrance is not very easy to see, not very well signed off the sometimes very busy road.

Review 16:The general location for an overnight stop on the way to/way back from Spain, there is a Macdonalds across the road and a supermarket less than 5 minutes walk away. It also has aircondition which was very good on our return night, it was 37.5 degrees outside at 8:00 pm

Review 17:Location was away from bars/restaurant but got into Cahors by car and found some nice places to eat/drink

Review 18:Nice comfy room with good shower and wifi

Review 19:We arrived on a boiling hot day and they had no cold drinks and no ice. Surely they could at leadt have a soft drinks ma hine if not an ice machine. The temp was 35 degrees!

Review 20:The rooms were zoK as was the bathroom

Review 21:Location is good, close to downtown but a car is needed. Air conditioned room with control. Excellent for the cheap price compare to other hotel next door!

Review 22:The room was not cleaned thoroughly - fluff on the floor and in the bathroom dirt in the corners.

Review 23:Within easy reach of the centre of Cahors. Staff friendly. Breakfast quite good; although coffee not up to the French standard.

Review 24:This was in a commercial area which I would not have chosen had I known. Carpets were dirty and rooms were shabby.

Review 25:The price was reasonable and okay for a one night stop.

Review 26:our sat nav drove us past the hotel 2 times as it is hidden behind other buildings

Review 27:Very friendly staff, cheap and good enough for a one night stay The nice girl from the reception didn't speak a lot of English but she tried really hard to understand us and to be understood

Review 28:Quiet position back from the road. Very clean.

Review 29:Lovely staff, free baggage store, quiet, free lollies, good for cyclists like us

Review 46:Easy location to find, close to McDonald's restaurant if you need a bite

Review 47:Helpful staff. Convenient if not attractive location.

Review 48:Free WiFi was non existent in our room and not much better in the breakfast room.

Review 49:Few amenities

Review 51:The location for leisure visitors was very poor. Ok if you were visiting for business.

Review 52:The room was commodious and clean

Review 53:Very simple breakfast for price Carpet needs to be cleaned in otherwise clean room

Review 54:Price Well situated Easy acces Free Wifi

Review 55:Further from city centre than expected from description

Review 56:very nice staffs

Review 57:There was no ice machine. It would have been nice if some of the staff had spoken a little English, but that's not something one should expect.

Review 58:This is a good basic hotel, nothing more. It was clean, the staff was friendly, the air conditioning worked well. I felt safe in the hotel and the area. The breakfast was excellent, and worth the 7.5 euros. I had read that the hotel had a bad smell, but that wasn't my experience at all.

Review 59:Extra small bedroom, no place for luggage, no elevator, weak wi-fi. Tiny double bed w/ blanket and bedspread.

Review 60:Large parking lot, great shower and fluffy towels. Very complete, abundant and tasty continental breakfast at reasonable price.

Review 61:The carpet throughout the hotel needs cleaning or changing. No lift. No tea making facility.

Review 62:Comfortable beds and a good nights sleep. Good breakfast choices. Secure car parking.

Review 63:The hotel environment; very scruffy surroundings, cigarette ends everywhere outside the building etc etc. The car parking areas badly needed resurfacing. Funny smell (damp?) when entering the room. People say "you get what you pay for"; I don't agree because on the previous evening we stayed at a similarly priced Joel (Le Pigonnier) which was fabulous.

Review 64:Very little.

Review 65:Would have liked a mini bar (to keep a bottle of water cool!)

Review 66:Staff helped me with a wifi problem. Excellent parking and well placed for facilities & commerce on the North of Cahors. 50 metres from N20/A20 access.

Review 67:no facilities like coffee machine and distributor of snacks if you don't have breakfast.

Review 68:very quiet and well situated with easy access to main roads, motorways, town and countryside

Review 69:Bad wi-fi connection - Only 2 were allowed access at the same time

Review 70:Ok for a single night

Review 71:Dirty Smell Very bad mattress and pillows Very difficult to find Bad location Too expensive

Review 72:WiFI worked good

Review 73:A bit pricey. Hotels in Cahors are generally expensive

Review 74:Clean, cool, comfortable

Review 75:Very basic room but good value

Review 76:Short walk into town

Review 77:Easy to find. Well sign posted. Excellent room.

Review 78:no lift far from the city

Review 79:there was air condition in the room, quiet and clean room

Review 80:Awful smell coming up from the shower, no trap on drain. Central heating dial not working so it`s either off or far too hot.

Review 81:The proximity to the Campanile Hotel, which provided an excellent evening meal at a very reasonable price.

Review 82:Location was on the edge of town, and not near restaurants. I should have booked a hotel near the train station.

Review 83:price

Review 84:Requested a non-smoking room when we booked, got a room which reeked of smoke.

Review 85:In a poor position on an industrial site, long way from the old town. No one in reception overnight, cheap bed and bedding.

Review 86:The advertising said in cahor, on the outskirts would be more accurate

Review 87:the room smelled like somebody had lived there and smoked all the time.

Review 88:location

Review 89:The geo position on your website was not accurate -should be checked

Review 90:easy going and relaxed
