Review 1：The downside of our stay was our room felt a bit chilly heating did not come on till late evening.

Review 5：The booking is for a double or twin. This is the only hotel booking I use that has this option. I did not specify double and ended up in a twin.

Review 14：Very uncomfortable beds,was moved from one room as the toilet door wouldn't work to another room where the toilet door lock was broken,the room was extremely hot and the fan made awful noises,then as for breakfast I had a full English which included egg shell and hair,was a pleasant stay at all would not recommended to anyone.

Review 16：My double room had twin beds pushed together that roled apart easily so I couldn't sleep next to my partner all night falling through the gap! Also the music from the evening shows went on till past midnight!

Review 27：Very enjoyable stay, all the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was big with a sofa and table / chairs. Good sized bathroom with decent pressure from the shower. Very good evening meals and the breakfast was excellent!

Review 28：The floors are creaky so I could tell when the guest in the room above me was walking in their room. Restaurant did not have a vegetarian breakfast. So had to use my free breakfast entitlement for toast and cereal :-) Location was a bit farther away from my place of business, but close to a Shell fuel station (which was good for me). Dog in the reception was cute, but would not stop barking at me :-) no problem though.

Review 29：Staff was friendly with no hassles. Free wireless internet is certainly a significant benefit. Connection is fast. Room was clean, with a traditional design with old-ish furniture, bed was comfortable, bathroom/toilet was clean.

Review 38：I was in ground floor room and the floorboards above were very nosey especially at 2am when the occupiers came in. There was an unpleasant food smell in the rear lobby which was next to the kitchen. Bit expensive for what you got.

I liked the fact the building had not been done over in a bland and globalised way, as so many places have been, so that they feel they could be anywhere in the world. Review 67：We booked a suite as a treat to ourselves. Sold as 'room fitted with luxury power shower' this didn't work and then the shower of the bath had no cold water therefore too hot to use. When we complained in the morning receptionist offered £10 off - great thanks. Stay in the travel lodge up the road.

Review 68：Old battered room and bathroom cold water shower on arrival disappointed. I decided not to bother having a shower after my partner had a cold one. Made my evening out rather miserable as I felt grubby. Awful!

Review 71：The shower was plumbed in back to front so we couldnt get it to work, then we had to turn the taps on the sink and the bath till the hot water came out of the shower, we didnt have enough time to run a bath and the staff were too late attending, it spoilt our night. Other members of the wedding party were also complaining about their showers too. We had a meal in the restaurant and £19.95 was added to our bill so we had to mention that too, we felt like we were always complaining but justifiably. On checking out the receptionist was only charging us for 1 round of drinks so we had to advise that the bill was more and the other receipt was found.

Review 72：The manager took on board what we said, put up a sign to show other guests how to use the shower. Our room was a little dated with the decor but my cousins room was lovely. The manager gave us the room for free and was very apologetic.
