Review 1：The Hotel was gorgeous, with lovely clean rooms. Owner Louise was helpful & friendly. Breakfast was tasty & lots to choose from. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Review 2：Although I didn't arrive until 11pm due to train disruptions, I was given a really warm welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable and the veggie cooked breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Review 3：The bed need replacing and was uncomfortable. The walls a so thin you can hear normal conversations in the next room. Mould is growing on the bathroom ceiling and the paint is peeling. The price was reduce to £60 when I pointed out the problems these and other problems, but this did not make up for a bad stay. We will not be returning.

Review 4：Breakfast didn't start until 8.30 at which point I had to be at work. This isn't clear upon booking and they were quite brusque initially when I arrived to try and get some breakfast at 8am. This despite the fact the lady that checked me in had suggested I try and get an early breakfast. After the initial coldness the staff offered to cook me something anyway and became friendly so no big problem in the end.

Review 9：Everything was excellent, clean, room facilities exceptional, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, hot and made to your liking. I was very pleasantly surprised as I am used to staying in branded bigger hotel chains. The Park Hotel room and facilities were actually better than some of those. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Review 12：We couldn't get into the hotel when coming back from the wedding at 1am. No one was on reception to help us get in. Staff were very rude when we rang to explain what happened and appeared confrontational. The room was small and there was considerable damp in the bathroom. Staff charged the credit card details that I provided despite saying we wished to pay with cash. Staff were very rude on checking out.

Review 24：The hotel description and booking websites describe it as having a restaurant, over two weekend stays, some weeks apart, the restaurant was not opened in the evenings. On both occasions the staff cited everyone (guests) being out as the reason. Given we booked on the convenience of an onsite restaurant, this was a big disappointment.

Review 26：We booked the Park Hotel because it ws shown to have a restaurant which had good reviews. Unfortunately, when we got there, we were informed that the restaurant was not open on Friday and Saturday nights and that the information was available on their website. Unfortunately it is not mensioned in the hotel details on Booking.com. It didn't matter to us, but the bar, which acording to the hotel's information pack is open on Friday and Saturday evenings and provides light food, was also not available during ur stay. Fortunately there are some good places to eat within an easy drive.

Review 27：We booked two nights and our first room was OK. We were given an "upgrade" for our second night because the owner's daughter was having a birthday party and we were moved to avoid the noise. the new room in arecently built extension was excellent with a much bigger bathroonm and extremely comfortable bed, Staff were helpful over this.

Review 28：Macerating toilet was v noisy in the middle of the night and woke us up when other guests flushed the toilet. The bed was v soft.

Review 33：This hotel has lots of atmosphere,a lot of the original features have been retained in the refurbishment.The owner greeted us warmly and upgraded us to a lovely room in the main house although the other rooms where nice too.we wanted to eat out and she was able to advise us the most popular places around and, even booked a table for us. We would highly recommend this hotel and will book again when visiting that way again.

Review 39：The hotel itself was all good. But booking.com nearly lost us somewhere to say aw was provisionally booked. But luckly the staff managed to accomodate us on all counts once we showed them the confirmation as it was booked on line and it wasn't their's or our fault. Will ring to confirm next time.

I awoke to his alarm at 6am, heard his bath running, his phone ringing - when he dialled out, his phone calls, him walking around, doors opening and closing.... you get the idea. I promised myself a lie-in until 7.30 but instead got up at about 6.30am......
