Santorini Kastelli Resort sells fast on our site. Santorini Kastelli Resort is in a secluded location just a 2 minute walk from the beach of Kamari. Surrounded by fragrant gardens and lush lawns, the 5-star resort offers 2 swimming pools, a spa and a poolside bar restaurant.
Each with a cheerful décor, the elegant rooms open to terraces or balconies with a view of the lush gardens or the main pool. All the rooms and suites are luxuriously furnished and equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV and a well stocked minibar.

Review 8：One thing I must have overlooked is that the hotel isn't directly on the beach which isn't an issue in itself as the sea is about 3 minutes away but when you get there, you have to pay for sun loungers as they all seem to be rented out by the restaurants. It would have been great if the hotel had a few of their own loungers/cut a deal with one of the restaurants for its guests. I like to spend my time on the beach rather than by the pool so for me this was a minus, otherwise this is a great spot!

Review 9：The hotel was great! The room were lovely appointed and very spacious. My room also had a balcony overlooking the pool which I used every evening. The hotel isn't big which is a plus and there are a number of buildings where the guests are put up so that you don't have too many neighbours and can enjoy the idyllic location.

Review 10：For 5 star, wifi speed and access across the resort wasn't up to standard. Also, kettle, coffee and tea in room was not provided which we wouldn't have minded except that to order room service there was a fee of €5 so having an in-room cup of tea or coffee was really not economical. This is a small thing that the resort could easily change to make it more like a 5 start experience.

Review 17：This was our second visit to Kastelli Resort, and the staff are as welcoming, friendly and service oriented as we remembered - they couldn't do enough to make our stay as special as possible. The hotel is beautiful, well set up and well run. The spa treatments are excellent. Kamari is a great place to stay with the benefit of a wide choice of restaurants and bars, a lovely beach and easy access to the rest of the island.

Review 18：The hotel was in a good location of Kamari but if I visit Santorini again, I would stay in or near Fira. It helped to have a car to explore the island. Although we were upgraded to a suite with a private terrace it was a bit annoying that you had to go up quite a few steps and there was no sea view.

From the moment we arrived at Kastelli we feltwelcomed and looked after by polite and friendly staff; a glass ofchampagne at check in, a complimentary bottle of wine in our room andfree upgrade to a superior room.Service from the staff was excellent at all times, whether it was bar service next to the pool, the restaurant or the cleaners who left our room spotless. The hotel has 4 different pool areas which gave a choice of where to relax every day. All were immaculately clean and towels were replenished throughout the day. Reception staff were informative and thorough in their explanations of attractions, bus services and excursions. They also made it very easy to book these and offered competitive prices for both car rental and boat trips. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Kamari Beach and its restaurants and bars but still manages to be in a peaceful location. While Kamari doesn't have the traditional white buildings and cliffs of Fira and Oia we found that it was a good base from which to explore the island. Finally the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere at all times of day and the restaurant manager (sorry we've forgotten his name!) was always on hand with recommendations and ensured that every meals we ate there was special. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, 5 star service while retaining a charming Greek character.

Review 30：Kamari as an area was nothing like we imagined. White washed buildings on the cliff is for Fira and Oia. Though we rented a car and drove there regularly, kamari is more like a a rural area still being developed. Nice mountain nearby. Beach was nothing to get excited about. Black sand and pebbles. Can't want bare foot.

Review 48：Very uncomfortable bed, very dim bathroom and old, dirty towels. We needed a kettle to heat the water for the baby's milk, they were kind enough to sort one out for us which they don't normally do but it was rusted from the inside. It's supposed to be a 5 star resort and such facilities should be available. The pools did not have a heating system so the water was freezing cold, too cold for us to swim in, let alone our baby, and it was a family holiday.

Review 104：This is my 2nd time at kastelli and this trip was possibly even better than the last! I took my mum with me this time. Antonis the manager really looked after us. We had a gorgeous room with our own semi private pool which we pretty much never left as it was so beautiful. This resort is very peacefull and relaxing despite being so close to kamari beach. The grounds are immaculately kept and the service really is 5 star. All of the team are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was great, we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel on a couple of occasions and the food was lovely. I know lots of people who have been to santorini and after comparing, it seems that kastelli is by far the best, most relaxing and beautiful hotel in kamari and possibly in santorini. You absolutely would not regret it if you booked to stay here!

Feels like family :) the facilities at this resort are exceptional, so many pools to choose from, tennis courts, spa, salon. We had initially planned to visit a number of the Greek islands, but found Kastelli resort and the amazing price deal on bookings.com and fell in love with this place and never left! When we arrived in Santorini we were met at the airport by Adonis who is the hotel manager and he personally drove us to the resort and along the way explained the various attractions and places to visit during our stay. Upon arrival we were given a glass of cold champagne and given a quick tour of the amazing facilities! From there, we were taken to our room and were very kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite which was fantastic. All of the staff were extremely friendly, very genuine, and very helpful with any advice and recommendations. My wife and I made good use of the gym and the tennis court and spent a lot of time in the 4 different public pools around the property. One night in particular Adonis arranged a traditional Greek dinner for my wife and I in a very private setting overlooking the pool. The meal was honestly one of the best we have ever experienced and the service was fantastic. We will recommend Kastelli to all our friends and family and will definitely be back. Honestly, do yourself a favour and don't waste time searching through other hotels and reviews. Just go ahead and book this amazing place and see for yourself that it really is heaven on earth!
