Review 1：I, my wife and my parents were walked out by the hotel without appropriate prior communication. Additionally, 1 day prior to my arrival, I was informed that the hotel will ensure my room despite my late arrival.

Review 3：parking was extra 7 Euros, breakfast 11.50 Euros. With breakfast a total would come to over 100 Euros for two. For that price we could get a much nicer hotel in the historic part of town. also - the front desk manager could not tell us how to access the internet on the i-phone. He just punches a few buttons.....he obviously got commission from restaurants. When we cancelled a place he asked us when we returned why we changed plans....we felt controlled.

Review 12：WiFi password cannot be used on multiple devices simultaneously. In most hotels you usually don't pay for kids under 2 years, but in this hotel they charge you (even though, we used our own travel bad for our kid). But I knew it in advance, so, this wasn't a bad surprise for me.

We conversed in French so I cannot comment on capacity to communicate with non-Francophone; however I am certain that staff would do their very best. Close to good restaurants in Battant Quartier and old town v accessible.

Review 52：The hotel was cold (overly-air-conditioned), dark, and ugly. The hallways and doorways were difficult to navigate with rolling luggage. I am used to narrow halls, but this hotel had stairs with no option of elevators and metal moldings in the doorway to the room which I tripped over repeatedly. The staff was impersonal and cold.

Review 63：Because of putting in a tram system the area around the hotel was a nightmare to navigate and very dangerous. you had to get through this to get to the restaurants in the city.

More about Besancon at the moment whose centre we discovered, to our cost, is full of roadwork streets and diversions owing, we were told, to the installation of a trams system. We only stayed one night but anyone booking an hotel at the moment should be aware of this and make sure, if they are car drivers, that they get very clear instructions about accessing their hotel.

Review 71：We asked for a triple without a sofa bed (canapé lit) and were given tworooms in their ownLittle pod... Really great. There is an entire non-smoking wing. The hotel staff was so nice. I would recommend this hotelto overnight travelers, even women (like me) traveling alone with theirchildren. Do not be put off by the hotel's location across from thetrain station. The only negative is its distance on foot from thehistoric part of town. Also, the Italian restaurant next door wasterrific, especially for ravenous teenagers. The moules frites wereexcellent. At the hotel, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Review 72：The hotel is located just one minutes walk from Besancon Viotte station, but to get city center you need to walk 15 mins through gravel slope. Unfortunately there is few restaurants and view points around the station. Hotel is indeed nice, so you can stay at this hotel if it is only business purpose. If you want to see city center, definitely I recommend to stay a hotel in city center. I will select a hotel in city center next time.

Review 78：LF, is a purpose built Logis, quite square and bland but very functional. It is by the railway station and 10 minutes walk across the river into town. LF is very clean, the room was a good size and excellent locked parking, breakfast was better than I expected.

Review 79：It was very quiet while we were there European school holidays had finished and weather was poor, so not many people about. Restaurant at the hotel was closed, as were most of the restaurants in the vicinity. Ended up at the kebab shop a couple of doors down and staff were very friendly and had a generous sized meal, not al la carte but the kids enjoyed it. Only issue with the rooms, that we were near a car park across the road from the hotel and bright lights shone in all night. The windows need a blind or block out curtains, either that or take your eye mask.

Review 80：Logis Florel is centrally located near the railway station. The room was clean, comfortable and quite modern. We were travelling with two children aged 12 and 14 yrs. We booked a family room which turned out to be two separate hotel rooms with an interconnecting corridor. Each room had it's own bathroom and separate toilet, TV. Good location for a stopover. Kids enjoyed the Citadel though the weather was miserable.

Review 84：I didn't like the reception area, it looked cheap and nasty, so much so that if I'd seen it in reality instead of a picture,I wouldn't have booked. However it made the bedrooms a very pleasant surprise, because after seeing the reception area, I wasn't expecting much. Although there was the convenience of parking, the exit was a very narrow tight squeeze.
