Reviews for Arundel Park Hotel

Review 1:Decor is a bit tired, especially the bathroom - however, for the cost, it's good value for money.

Review 2:Great location, 5 minute walk into Arundel - right on the A27 which was useful for me (didn't have any issues with noise).

Review 3:The room was clean, and the shower and hairdryer were great! Often in hotels you get an awful shower that just dribbles and a hair dryer that feels like a small child blowing on your head, and I know its a bit strange to have pointed out these two features, but it's important to some of us! The location is also good if you are planning on getting public transport as its right next to the train station and a bus stop. The staff were very friendly too and breakfast was nice enough.

Review 4:It wasn't bad - but could have been a bit better. Some staff could be more welcoming.

Review 5:Bed was good and the place was clean if a little shabby in places.

Review 6:Was a little noisy due to being by a main road. It was double glzaed and had shutters to help. No actual curtains so either shutters or not which was awkward as near road.

Review 7:Hotel is in a good location for Arundel and surrounding are.Decor a lottle dated but comfy.

Review 8:cleanliness was a little poor, but when pointed out was clean by the time we returned later in the day.

Review 9:convenient for where we visiting. Chichester/Littlehampton and surrounding areas.

Review 10:needs modernising ,the bathroom had nowhere to hang clothes ,also could do with shelf in bathroom

Review 11:Close to Arundel, friendly, lots of leaflets .good breakfast

Review 12:nothing.

Review 13:The staff were very helpful & friendly. We arrived before check-in & they quickly made a room available as we needed to get ready for a wedding. Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely & set us up for the day.

Review 14:I think we stayed in one of the better rooms but still could do with a little bit of modernisation. Perfectly clean though.

Review 15:Breakfast was lovely and so was the breakfast room/conservatory. We stayed in room 14 which was charming and comfy. Very nice bathroom too! Perfect location.

Review 16:staff friendly and polite. the town on arundel is beautiful hotel 5 min walk to town centre. only fault its a very busy road to enter and exit the hotel

Review 17:would have preferred slightly bigger towels!

Review 18:perfectly adequate for our needs. lovely big room. even though hotel is next to a busy road & a railway line, this did not bother us, in fact we overslept & were late for Breakfast!

Review 19:Felt welcome right from the start. Lovely spacious room & bathroom, comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Had 1 evening meal which was excellent value for money. Nice bar & garden to enjoy an early evening drink in.

Review 20:Could do with information folder in room

Review 21:Good room clean and spacious. Good breakfast and easy walk to town centre. Although situated on main road we had no problem with noise. Plenty of parking

Review 22:Shower head broken on arrival and could not witch on radiator in bedroom - but was fixed as soon as mentioned. Likewise a noisy dishwasher beneath our room (14) after midnight was switched off when I called staff out - could not have slept if it had stayed on.

Review 23:Location very handy for a night in Arundel. Staff very helpful in sorting out a couple of issues. Room spacious but glad not at front overlooking road.

Review 24:Quite hard work pulling cases across stones in carpark and taking cases to room as upstairs and no lift. Traffic a bit noisy at times but double glazing helped.

Review 25:Pleasant staff. Nice clean comfortable room with clean bathroom and plenty of hot water. T.V and wi fi in rooms. Excellent breakfast with food allergy catered for.

Review 26:The bath should have hand rails to help getting in and out. The road noise was a bit loud at times.

Review 27:Staff were friendly who catered to our needs. The breakfast was very good.

Review 28:No major gripes... The decor is clean enough, but a bit dated in style. The road at the front is very busy, so be ready to take advantage of any gap in the traffic when using the car park

Review 29:Very friendly, clean and comfortable, only a 10 minute walk from the town centre, right next door to the train station. I would choose this hotel again.

Review 30:The owners were a lovely couple and nothing was to much trouble. The lady who serves breakfast was so nice and friendly and very informative about the surrounding area.We will be staying again when we are next in the area.

Review 31:The fan above the bed had seen better days. The hall ways could do with smartening up but overall it was value for money.

Review 32:The staff did all they could to make us feel welcome. Helped my mum feel completly at ease before we attended a local funeral.

Review 33:Nothing really to complain about.

Review 34:Helpful staff, cleanliness and comfort. Good choice of breakfast. Quietness Clean bathroom with added facility of a bath as well as a shower. ++++++++++++++++++++++

Review 35:Closeness to the main road (A27). In the summer this might prove noisy with a window open in one of the front rooms. (It was not an issue while I was staying as this was November, I was further away from the road and the quality of the double glazing was very good)

Review 36:Very pleasant atmosphere, polite staff, very clean property. I would say good value for money, especially when compared with other accomodation in the area.

Review 37:No restaurant on site. Room too warm but opened window to solve problem.

Review 38:Location excellent right by train station but noise not a problem. Short walk into town. Wi-fi superb - very fast and no interruptions. Room large and comfortable, bathroom very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Good value for money.

Review 39:Charming owners, very helpful. Large comfortable double room overlooking garden. Excellent parking facilities and very convenient location. Good value.

Review 40:There was nothing to not like about this hotel.

Review 41:Friendly Owners Clean room Bar Lovely garden Delicious breakfast Short walk to all attractions. Ideal hotel for a short break to see the sights. Large car park so no problem finding a space.

Review 42:It was a little shabby, needs a little modernising and a lick of paint. Was clean but had a faint stale smell.

Review 43:The B n B was within walking distance of Arundel Village. Great Breakfast and Free Wi Fi. Very helpful friendly staff.

Review 44:Just wish the Second night rate had not been so much..

Review 45:close to where we needed to be as my Sister was over from America and we are from the South this was prime Location for us.. Breakfast was very good

Review 46:That you couldn't get an evening meal at the hotel even though they had a nice bar.

Review 47:Easy to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful.Very clean and the breakfast was plentiful and a good selection of food available.

Review 48:Plug of handbasin in room 16 needs attention (I meant to mention this when I checked out).

Review 49:Attractive breakfast room having garden views, and a generous breakfast menu. Friendly helpful staff. 'Times' newspapers to read. Only 8 minutes easy walk to Arundel town centre.

Review 50:Located right on A27, we had a room at the front of the hotel. It would be absolutely fine if you had a room at the rear.

Review 51:Good breakfast with friendly staff

Review 52:Booked for our daughters first night after wedding. Male staff on reception could not complete check-in over phone as didnt know how to. Hubby had to leave wedding reception to go and check in and collect room key! Later we found out that the shower didnt work! Have contacted hotel and are still waiting to hear back.

Review 53:I couldn't get Mobile phone access on "Orange" in the hotel bedroom. I hit my forehead on the glass shelf in the bathroom, a narrower shelf with black rubber edge would help. Room was on 2nd floor, there was no lift and narrow stairs & landing for carrying luggage. I gave "poor" value for money, is when compared against hotels in other areas, In my opinion all hotels in this area are overpriced. For a £95 twin room for one night I expect better.

Review 54:Nice soft beds, great sleep. Staff helpful, good late access. Great breakfast. Would stay again,

Review 55:- Location, short walk into Arundel town - Room standard. Spacious room, very well decorated and well maintained. - Very clean room. - Breakfast, good quality and plentiful. Didn't have to eat for the rest of the day. - Very welcoming staff at breakfast, a good start to the day.

Review 56:It rained - can't blame the hotel for that!

Review 57:Very close to Arundel, 10 minutes walk. Two minutes from Arundel station (although we never heard a train), we could have caught the train rather than driving. We booked two rooms, both were very large, a bit dated but very comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The breakfast was really good and the staff very attentive but not overbearing.

Review 58:Very restricted evening meal menu, although there are other eating establishments nearby, so that didn't pose a problem.

Review 59:The place was clean, and the staff welcoming.

Review 60:The staff were friendly and obliging - the location was close to Arundel but a little too far to walk for us older people !! The hotel was lovely and comfortable and we will definitely stay there again and not hesitate to recommend this to friends.

Review 61:First night had a meal in Arundel, then went back to hotel for anotherdrink.BAR Closed! Next night - bar open. Incostinent!

Review 62:Easy Check-in, good room, great breakfast

Review 63:Sorry to say we did not sleep well at all. Kept awake most of the night as our room was on the ground floor with a main road directly outside.

Review 64:Staff were fantastic and so helpful. We had breakfast and couldNOT find a single thing wrong. Brilliant

Review 65:The room was incredibly dated, there was no ventilation so it was veryhot (the ceiling fan clicked with every turn so the noise it madeoutweighed the minimal difference it made to the air), and the room hadnot been properly cleaned (E.G. there was someone else's hair in thebath and the lamps were covered in dust). Also, the room was small, the bed linen tired, and there generally weren't any of the comforts that I would expect when paying £95. Check out was at 10.30am and there was no option to leave our bags at the hotel for the day, so we ended up leaving them at a local taxi cab office. I emailed the manager afterwards to express my disappointment. I haven't received a response, which I take as confirmation that he does not care about customer experience.

Review 66:The staff were pleasant and the hotel is in a good location for thetrain station and town.

Review 67:Room too hot fan encased with dirt. Mismatched furniture. Grubby toilet brush. Bath an hour too fill. Shower pressure poor. Bar food very poor. Have stayed at Arundel park twice before and was surprised too see how sad and neglected the hotel has become.

Review 68:The birds feeding in the garden. Breakfast good.

Review 69:Very friendly and helpful staff

Review 70:Really accessible for nearby railway station

Review 71:a few minor details but nothing that we did not like

Review 111:Other guests behaviour, management responded well to situation.

Review 112:Breakfast, friendly staff and comfortable room. Free Wi-fi
