Review 1：Nothing to do outside of the hotel and not many restaurants either. The hotel a la carte restaurant is overpriced and their dress code does not allow man to wear shorts, even the more social/fancy kind, which does not fit to a beach front restaurant... It is a nice restaurant but not to the dress code they are requesting. Internet just doesn't work in the room, but outside was ok'ish.

Review 2：Room was beautiful. Very clean and large with nice (but not uninterrupted) sea view. Looked really modern. Breakfast was really nice with loads of options to choose from. We had our own beach tent reserved to our room. Beach was really nice with cristal clear waters and almost no waves.

Review 9：Some of The staff were rude & do not believe in customer satisfaction. Acquiring ice in a larger quantity than a cup full in the hotel or even nearby area is impossible. Wifi & cable TV in rooms does not work. Nothing near the hotel.

Review 11：We didn't get a tour to introduce us to what was available at the resort (we didn't know that some alcoholic drinks were included until the last day - tried asking when we checked in but the English language barrier got in the way) We weren't told about the kayaks available or any of the activities...had to figure it out on our own. We asked if we could swim after dark and the answer was yes because the staff person didn't understand English well enough to know what we were asking. We quickly learned that swimming past 6pm wasn't allowed. There wasn't a map of the property provided. We asked for separate beds specifically when reserving but got one bed. They tried to separate them by putting the sheets differently but the bed was really still one bed. The good was mediocre. Plentiful food, but much like a family buffet restaurant, nothing extra special. For almost two full days we couldn't open our room with the key that was given to us. We needed help, but on the third day they gave is a replacement key and oiled the lock. Twenty five euros for the sun beds seemed a little high.

Review 13：The room door was difficult to secure. Apple juice is not part of all-inclusive, bizarre Animation team close beach activities for 3.5 hours every day and don't work Mondays at all. Water sports equipment was old or broken.

Review 15：We visited with teenage children. There wasn't alot for us to do in the evening. Unless you were under 5 or elderly and hard of hearing, the karaoke nights were difficult to sit through! On the one night there was a disco, a guest complained about the noise at 9pm and asked for it to be turned right down. It wasn't loud. The resort was perfect for the relaxing break we needed but not a lot to do in the evenings.

Review 16：Pleasantly surprised to see the resort had been refurbished since our last visit in 2008 to a high standard. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our suites were excellent, beautifully designed, clean and both with stunning views of the bay. The main restaurant had a good selection for all tastes. The 'Swell' Restaurant superb.

Review 21：We had a problem with WiFi in our room and it took 4 days and numerous calls (we stayed for 6 nights) to get it to work! They fixed it eventually. In a hotel this nice and luxurious you don't want to have to always ask for water. I can't really understand why wasn't it offered free of charge with breakfast and dinner. With all the abundance of exceptional food available, you still have to ask and pay for water. Maybe it could be included in the price. I live in California and we do understand the lack of water and how water conservation is important but still in a luxury hotel you expect this to be included.

Review 22：Brand new rooms, really spacey and comfortable. High-end finishes on everything and nice showers inside and outside and jetted tub. We stayed at the family suite and it was really luxurious and nice. Family friendly with some kids entertainment. Breakfast and dinner were excellent with abundance of food. The staff was helpful and always available.

Review 25：i never got a chance to try the downstairs fine dinning restaurant which i heard was quite good, the buffet style restaurant upstairs was very mediocre, not a great selection of healthier options and quality wasn't fantastic, much like a small version of "home town buffet". luckily there are well priced incredibly delicious restaurants within walking distance

Review 34：We just came back from a week at the Knossos Beach Bungalows and Suites in Crete and had a lovely holiday. We are a family of six and had a family sea view suite - which was comprised of two bungalows with an interconnecting door. The room was nicely furnished, the bed was so comfortable and huge.. my husband is 193 meters and his feet didn't hang over the end of the bed! We could both see and hear the sea from our room which was so relaxing. The hotel sits on its own private beach with wonderful soft sand and clear sea. My kids are 17,14 and twins of 8 and we all enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, the food was good, their is a bus stop right outside the hotel so we didn't bother hiring a car which was great. The hotel is 20 mins from Heraklion Airport and the hotel arranged a minivan transfer for us both upon arrival and departure. Overall would thoroughly recommend!

Review 41：Because the hotel is located near the airport you can hear the landings and takeoffs of the airplanes which is disturbing if you're sensitive to the noise. it was disappointing for us to discover that the sea beds on the shore (shown in the pictures) are not offered to all the guests in the hotel and are reserved to suits only. yet , it is possible to rent them for an extra charge if available. also the safe in our room was broken which they knew about and didn't tell us so the next day we had to change rooms.

Review 44：So close to beach, full seaview, I've never stayed so close to the sea! Clean, comfortable room, large private veranda with comfortable sunbeds. Fridge in room. Staff were realy friendly and helpful, both at reception and in the restaurant, especially Emilia. The Bali beds on the beach are a treat, but cost you €25 a day, so an expensive treat. Food both at breakfast and evenings was excellent, good variety and quality. The Swell Restaurant, where we had the set menu, was good value for money, really interesting and tasty foods, most unusual combinations and flavours. Shop accross the road sells wine and water and other necessaries. At night you fall asleep listening to the waves, it's beautiful

Review 49：The outdoors pool is freezing cold and needs better cleaning. The quality of the food in the restaurant could be improved but the variety is quite ok. Some of the sunbeds are paid as an extra. The area around the hotel is not very "alive" so it is better to have a car to go around if you plan to leave the hotel.

Review 80：The culture of service in Greece is much slower. The culture is more at personal leisure. They will attend to you at when it is their convenience. Booking.com doesn't give details on which room you will be booking. That was a major disappointment. You will get a surprise when you arrive. Booking.com needs more details on photos of each room that you are booking so you know exactly which room you shall receive when you arrive. Plus when I updated my trip to longer stay, the hotel did not have these details when I arrived.

Upon our arrival there wasa glitch with our rooms but it was fixed and the rest of our stay wasfine. We had dinner at the Swell Restaurant and it was fantastic. Wepicked the breakfast only option and the hotels breakfast was extensiveand changed enough each day to keep it interesting. The hotel has twocoves one has the day beds and the other has lounge chairs. The day bedsare each assigned to suites. Which was nice since we didn't have toworry about saving a place on the beach each morning. We spend most ofour time on the day beds and that was the highlight of our stay. Thebeach are well maintained and lovely. The staff was very nice but I mustmention Dorin, who made our stay memorable. He always had a smile on hisface and was always very helpful. It was sad saying goodbye to him.

Review 88：They provided the room cleaning service after 48 hours of our arrival. They need to cautiously monitor the room condition. We were really disappointed with late cleaning service.
