Review 60:The choice of breakfast

Review 61:Small (double) bed and small shower given the size of the bathroom.

Review 62:Staff were friendly, room was spacious and very clean.

Review 63:The Hollybrook is a family run inn which offers lots of hospitality and good home cooked food.

Review 64:Minor thing but as this is the only pub in the village and because it is out of town you have little choice. So if you want peace its great.

Review 65:The food was always good, we all (8 of us) ate together with no complaints. Not easy to do. Very accommodating and would use them again.

Review 66:The B&B was very hard to find. The establishment is on the outskirts of pathetic city....The GPS could not even find it. We lucked out and found a local that knew where it was.

Review 67:Ray was amazing. We arrived late but they made sure we had an awesome dinner and enjoyed a few pints. The rooms were better than expected. As was the hospitality. Anyone who stays here must have a ping with Ray!

Review 68:There is nothing to dislike

Review 69:This is a true family business of the highest standard and most friendly approach that you could ask for. The rooms are immaculate with a homely feeling. The food is good and wholesome and the service is happy and friendly - what more could you ever want?

Review 70:It was in a lovely place nice friendly people who made us welcome. The floor in reception was a bit slippery when feet were wet from out side we both nearly sloped. But other than that a great ace to stay and would recommend it to anyone. We have already told friends how great it was. The food was outstanding

Review 71:Could do with a bit bigger TV and many channels were not available. Could do with an adjustable shower head - the spray was needle sharp so not relaxing.

Review 72:The room was clean, comfortable and roomy . The location quiet. Restaurant was good value and served good and ample food. The staff were efficient, hardworking and above all very friendly.

Review 73:Just out side aperance

Review 74:As the saying goes don't judge a book by its cover on ariving my thoughts were disapointed by out side aperance but it was butifull inside could not fault anything it was imackulatewith nice meals in the evening and a great breckfast

Review 75:Internet was a bit iffy, dropped significantly later in evening when probably all guests and host family on it. Mattress on my bed does need renewing as quite uncomfortable.(room 1).

Review 76:That it was run by a family that clearly cared about its customers and its business. Room was well equipped and very clean. Food was of good quality. As a single female traveller I can feel intimidated by the only area for food being in a pub environment but Ray was brilliant at making me feel at ease. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Review 77:Stayed here for a weekend when we went to Carmarthen for a family birthday party. Our rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable and the free wifi was a bonus. Staff were v. friendly and happy to arrange taxis. Breakfast was good too.

Review 78:We could not turn the heating down in the room during the night.

Review 79:Spotlessly clean. Very good food. Great country pub atmosphere. V. good value for money.

Review 86:location, very quiet. nice people good food

Review 87:We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel, as the sat nav didn't recognise the post code and it took us a few miles past our turn off to the hotel. Other than that, no problems.

Review 88:everything

Review 89:Hard to find because satnav couldn't locate it, we were told others had same problem. Map didn't give full details of how to get there.

Review 90:Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with kettle & tea/coffee etc, good ensuite, everything clean, nice restaurant with good choice of freshly cooked meals

Review 98:A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We and our friends stayed at the HollybrookCountry Inn for 3 nights on a b & b basis but we decided to havedinner there too - excellent food both breakfast and dinner. Wedefinately recommend this place, its also just 3 or 4 miles to thecentre of Carmarthen with excellent shopping and close to the coast too.

Review 99:Perhaps if breakfast could have been served until 9.30, but not a criticism just a comment

Review 100:The friendliness of the staff, the comfortable room and the cleanliness of all the areas

Review 101:The charming owners gave us a warm welcome and and were pleased to offer us any help to make the most of our visit. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the food plentiful and tasty. Bedrooms were comfortable and there was no noise at night.

Review 102:In very peaceful surroundings, pure luxury and very friendly serviceprovided by Ray and his family. Best pint of draught beer I had on allmy 4 week holiday in uk. We were woke up in the morning by a pheasantcalling out to his mate..., Which makes a pleasant change from thenormal cockerill. In the the same village as the world famous GwilliPreserved Railway - one of the best attractions in Carmarthenshire. Theowner Ray is a fantastic host and his daughter is amazing. We are sorrywe never met Ray's wife who was always busy in the kitchen producingsuch fantastic meals. Highly recommended.

Review 103:Nothing negative, extremely enjoyable stay.

Review 104:The staff at the Hollybrook Country Inn are fantastic and do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. It's a lovely country pub. I will definately stay there again when I am next in the area.

Review 105:I stay in a lot of hotels as I travel frequently. With out a shadow of a doubt, the Hollybrook Inn has to be the best hotel I have stayed in. The rooms are clean and newly decorated. The bathrooms are large and have all the modern conveniences. The hotel is run by a very friendly family. Gemma's cooking is outstanding and no request is ever too much! What can I say? I am still in shock with the amazing service and delightful experience.

Review 106:Nothing!!!!!!!!!!

Review 107:I cannot fault this hotel. The landlord was friendly and very helpful, the staff were all very friendly and enjoyed a joke with us. The roomwas warm, clean and very comfortable. All inall, we would recommend thishotel to anyone who wants a quiet, friendly and relaxing stay.
