Review 1：Just stopped by with one night, it is very good If you just need a place to stay between trains. I forgot my Ipad and the kind and honest old man who had the hotel sent it back to me in Sweden :-)

Review 6：Sad polite elderly gentlemen who ran the place all by himself. No air conditioning which meant having the windows open opposite a very busy train station ! Very old fashioned, worn out carpet. Whole feeling of tired.
Review 7："Furnished old" was quite funky... And room was dark and threadbare...and staff was pleasant ...but volunteered no information. And do not buy the breakfast...I cannot speak to the food quality...as I did not buy it..but felt sorry got those who were starting their day in a very dim windowless alcove of the lobby.

Review 9：The bed was the worst I have slept on my entire life, and I'm no spring chicken. It was tiny, lumpy and if there were springs in it they were entirely shot. I had to get out of the bed and in again to change position. I almost left in the middle of the night. It was cheap but in no way worth ANY money!

Review 11：We arrived at 11.00pm on the train and the hotel was in darkness - despite advising late arrival in advance. Hotel is very old and dated but it was just a bed for the night and the cheapest around.

Review 37：Ironically, although I was taking the TGV which would carry me to Paris in less than five hours I realised that I was staying in a hotel dating from the steam train era. Attempts to update rooms and facilities have been made but, generally, failed. There was no outdoor noise reaching my room but there was plenty from other guests - voices and door slamming. If you are taking an early train and have no worries about reaching the station in time, stay elsewhere

Review 47：Towel was like sandpaper. Reception called my room at 10am advising that I needed to check out due to cleaning, check out time was 11am? I had to catch a train at 14:00, reception did not allow me to leave my luggage at the hotel after i checked out which meant i had to sit at the train station for over 3 hours with my luggage when I could have gone out and explored the city, very disappointing

Review 55：the old man receptionist gave me a room WITHOUT private bathroom, no TV, different from the decription, complaint with him, he said the english version is not correct, it is the problem of booking.com and me !! when he show me the reservation of others through booking.com, one is same as mine, he said they use that room with bathroom and TV bec it is much expensive 51euro for 2 persons,but i just pay for 1 person 29euro.i even said it is normal. he even pretend he dont speak english, but we negotiate for almost 15 mins. it is cold that time and evening,also,he charge me before going to the room. AM VERY UNHAPPY FOR THIS HOTEL. he throw the problem to booking.com and me, they close the heater in the middle of the night, no elevator, narrow stairway, no hot water on the sink. if you want to stay in this hotel, think over and over again.my first time having such bad experience
