Review 1：Where shell I start? This hotel in theory is a 5 stars hotel. Well personally I think it is not. The pictures on the website about the rooms were all about the elit suites(but of course this fact wasn't highlighted) so I was a bit surprised when our room wasn't look like the pictures but nevertheless it wasn't a major issue I just felt myself a bit tricked. The shower was very small and when we arrived,the bed sheets were dirty we had to ask for change them. I wasn't really happy with the receptionists either. We haven't been informed what so ever about anything when we arrived. We just got the key and the floor level. For example about the safe in our room what was working with a key (not even a safe with code option) what we had to ask later,but we had to keep it with us all the time, we couldn't leave it on the reception because they don't take the responsibility for it. We haven't been informed about men need to wear long trousers for dinner time in the buffet area so it was a bit weird that on the first evening my boyfriend's been told to go back to the room and change. (The restaurant staff was very professional though but if we would know about this in the first place we could just spare the embarrassment)On the 3.day we asked on the reception for advice what we could do on that day arround the hotel or the other direction on the island because we discovered already the old town and we were curious what else is in the area.The answer was 'well there is darts' so we just left for the whole day again and we spent every day away from the hotel. The water in the pools was so cold, the sea was even warmer. However the beach of the hotel not really good for swimming because of the wind the sea is very rough - which is around the whole island - perfect though for wind surfing if someone into it. So we went to the old town every day because we found a nicer beach there.

Review 2：The buffet was awesome and the staff in the restaurant area was very kind and professional! There was opportunity to rent bicycles. The room was clean apart of the bed sheets.

Review 3：I liked the layout of the hotel. It is a big hotel - but the original way the hotel has been built meant that it didn't feel like being in a huge hotel, it gave the impression of being in a much smaller personal hotel. But having all the options that big hotels can offer ie various swimming pools,sauna,gym,beach and attractive gardens as well as an excellent buffet breakfast.

Review 4：The hotel needs refurbishing, room was old fashioned and shower was mouldy. The pool area and spa seemed run down, sun beds dirty and floor in spa needs cleaning. Definitely not 5 star, more like 4 compared to other hotels I've been too.

Review 5：We were upgraded to a sea view room which is definitely worth paying extra for, breathtaking! Lovely bar area on 10th floor with excellent views! Couldn't complain about the standard of food and drinks on all inclusive package.

Review 19：The only "problem" I can find is smoking policy. People were allowed smoking at the pool or during dinner (only outside). I have to change place several times when somebody was smoking in front (esp. pipe). It's strange because nowadays smoking is strictly forbidden almost everywhere. BTW: I didn't know that so many people are still smoking...

Review 20：This hotel is amazing. It was our first time in Greece and expectations were really low. Everything in this hotel is perfectly managed. I travel a lot and been in 5 star hotels around the world but this one is really something.

Review 21：The beach had rocks and it was windy. We couldn't swim and the children could not play with the sand. It is a very nice hotel but I believe it needs a renovation.

Review 22：Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great view from the 10th and 11th floor restaurants, the location is good, 5 min from the old and new city. We were staying with our 2 year old babies and we were upgraded to a junior suite. We really appreciated it because we had a very comfortable room.

Review 23：Queuing for breakfast can be avoided I think. The hotel suggests to guests to try to save water but the cleaning personnel is not trained to apply those savings (i.e. not to change linen and towels)

Review 27：Some staff at the reception desk were clearly unfriendly. This is totally unacceptable. No wifi connection and air conditioning doesn't work during summer !!. Finally, Amatus restaurant asks customers to pay 2,5€ for 1 liter whereas Water price is 0,5€ for 1 liter in the closest supermarket is intolerable. Many customers choose to not order any drink during their meal.

Review 28：The situation and comfort of Amatus hotel were nice but just normal for a five stars Hotel. Nothing special.

Review 29：Free-wifi was too bad in our room ( but better in other places of hotel ) Balcony was not being cleaned. There were always bird droppings around. Queue in front of restaurant at meal times can be a little annoying especially on those hot summer days. Altough personnel is quite helpful, i saw there were lots of places to sit but they dont let you in before the table is fully ready. Perhaps it could be better if they'd let people sit before the tables are totally ready in order to prevent long queues..

Review 30：Hotel is located close to city and places to eat. Our room was old fashioned but spacious! It had 2 floors, 2 bathrooms and a big balcony with gorgeous Ixia sea view. Free and big car park. Quality of food is awesome. Beach is nice. Sea is one of the best in island altough it is wavy. Water is quite hot and clean. Beach is not crowded. Entry to sea is pebbly but then it is full of sand, similar to beach. Pool is huge and joyful. Food served in pool area is nice and affordable. Roof bar has a nice view and now has a special part in my life :)

Review 32：Breathtaking sea view from the room and the breakfast restaurant. Enjoyable pools also for small kids and wonderful sea through the underground passage from the hotel. Close to Rhodes town, 10 euro by taxi. 部屋と朝食レストランからの素晴らしい海の眺め。小さい子供も楽しめるプールと地下通路で簡単にアクセスできる綺麗な海。ロードスタウンからも近くてタクシーで片道10ユーロ。

Review 33：Dress code during diner was totally weird and strange. Take a trouserwith you only for dinners in the hotel! Sea was a bit wavy, due to highwind. Wifi was poor.

Review 56：We absolutely loved our stay at Amathus Beach hotel! We chose the all inclusive package and were blown away by both the food and beverage choices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all amazing - with a great variety included. The all inclusive package includes the majority of cocktails (approximately 10 cocktails are included), all of the main spirits, delicious juices, water and coffee beverages. Basically, everything that you would hope for! We spent two afternoons drinking cocktails by the pool - it was just perfect! There was a live band in the Rodian Bar on the Thursday evening - which we thoroughly enjoyed! As previously mentioned, the staff are all incredible - so helpful and polite and welcoming. We would definitely come back!

Review 57：rooms were not cleaned properly during the week and on final day we came back at 11.30 (30 minutes before check out) to find cleaners in room. At first we thought they made a mistake (despite presence of suit cases on the floor) but then they proceeded to stay in the room!!! Felt like we were being pushed out of room which is not acceptable for the price we paid. Made a complaint to receptionist but she just questioned whether or not we had left the safe lock in the room...and then sent attendant to wrong room and, without checking, implied my wife was not telling the truth...a bad end to a very nice week..a pity

Review 59：Beds were too hard for my liking and I didn't find the pillows comfortable resulting in a bad neck and a poor nights sleep. Also, our room was on the 9th floor with the restaurant above so all we could hear were tables/chairs scraping across the floor from 6am and until turned 11pm at night. Also no tea and coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing.

Sea was lovely, short tunnel under the main roadto it. Review 73：Extremely overpriced small rooms, the sun woke me up every day from 6.30because the curtains did not adequately cover the window, a lot of noisefrom the upper floors, you could only regulate the airflow of the(noisy) aircondition and not the temperature,at the breakfast you had tospeak English becouse the responsible did not speak greek!!, The tv hadalmost none greek channels!.The hotel located far away from the town andyou had to pay a lot of money to taxis,you had to pay in order to visitthe beautiful spa of photographies, the pool loungers were few...Roomsneed renovation....

Review 120：The price is as for European five star hotel and provided service as forthree star hotel. The road between the hotel and the beach is very verynoisy and gassy. The airport is close and it is very noisy from planes.
