Review 1：This side of town looks a little run down
Review 2：Free upgrade to a double, a nice welcome, big breakfast, close to town and the beach! It was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed!
Review 3：Bathroom not clean . no heating at first ,had to ask to be put on. No hand towels . gap under door about an inch needed one of the bath towels to block out draught. It could be a lovely 0lace just needs a woman's touch.

Review 11：The tv was a little high-up and the wifi didn't connect. Other than that, a most enjoyable stay.
Review 12：The owner of the hotel was friendly and helpful, the room was a decent size and nice and clean with a clean en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. There was a cupboard downstairs with board games for the guests which my husband and daughter enjoyed.
Review 13：Dirty shower Dust on every ledge and shelf. Tea and coffee but no milk. Mattress had seen better days and was uncomfortable.Duvet cover was torn. Electrics were a fire risk with TV, 3kw Kettle,Freeview box and a 2kw Fan heater all plugged in the same adaptor. I have photos if you would like to see the filth and danger.

Review 15：No hot water in room. No hair dryer, No Electric shaver point or adapter. Curtains did not fit window. Car park minute. WiFi only in one room downstairs. Shower controls very tricky to set. No complimentary welcoming tea.

Review 17：Slept in what I'm pretty sure was the top half of a kids bunk bed with a child's size bed cover. bathroom two floors down stairs. Towel stunk, tiny and was all threadbare and Raggy. Paid for four nights and left after one and had to move to the Travelodge.
Review 18：Nice enough landlord, comfortable bed in a decent size room, and a cooked breakfast available the following morning. Nice little beach nearby, not too crowded. Pub down the end of the lane and town centre a short walk away. Anything further requires car travel.

Plug for the kettle was 'sparking'. Toilet takes 3 flushes to get rid of a tissue. Water in the shower collects around feet. Towels stank........

Review 23：Good location and easy to walk into town for an evening meal. Parking was good (behind the guest house) and although the bedroom wasn't luxurious, for 2 star accommodation it was fine. There was continuous hot water for the shower, tea and coffee in our room and the WiFi signal was very strong in the dining room. The full English breakfast was good and the owner was helpful.
Review 24：Poor shower, breakfast not great. They didn't even have any butter left for the toast. Ok if you wanted a small cooked breakfast which I didn't. The manager just didn't seem with it, but he could have had a late night I suppose!

Review 26：Maybe it's me but I just expect more from a hotel. The place was a bit run down and not particularly clean. We also had an issue where the communal toilet ran out of paper so we ended up having to go out and buy some ourselves. The owner was friendly enough but not particularly dynamic.

Review 32：The dirtiest and most disgusting accommodation I have ever stayed at inthe developed world. Booking.com should be embarrassed to promote it onthe website, reputations can be tarnished by association. The owners donot have a clue and I have photos to prove it.

Review 34：Being heavy set I booked a double for single use and got a triple consisting of three twin beds. I also requested a quiet room and was given a room next to the main entrance. Non smoking was also an issue, since the breakfast room reeked of cigarette, due to the manager's living quarters being right next to it. There was no mirror in the bathroom, but at check in I was assured that I would get one the next day, spent 4 nights and never got one. The toilet leaked the entire time. The last night I got home at 11:30 and found the housekeeper's key in the lock, it had been there all day, so that anyone could have walked in during the day. The next morning I raised the issue with the manager and he said that he had seen the key but assumed it was mine. The guy seemed well meaning but utterly clueless.

Review 49：This B&b requires urgent inspection. It should not be allowed to continue as a b&b for health and safety and general hygiene. I could not use the washing facilities and the food was not kept properly. ? fire alarms working.
Review 50：Everything!!! The awful smell greeted us before the owner did. The whole place smelt terrible of years of grease and dirt and obviously hadn't seen a hoover since the mid 60's. There was an inch of dust on everything in the room. The decor is seriously in need of an overhaul. It whole place looked very dated and badly in need of repair. After checking in we were told that the guests before us had broken the bed and burnt the carpet with an iron (and broken the lock on the door). We were told that the bed had been repaired (a double quilt had been folded up and shoved in the hole under the mattress) At breakfast we had to ring a bell to get the chef to come out from behind a locked door to order a cooked breakfast, he noted our order with a nod and went back into the 'kitchen'. Wifi only worked in the breakfast room. We were told our room hadn't been cleaned when we returned on the second night due to the door lock having been broken and us having the only key. The sink was cracked, the toilet cistern was hanging off the wall and the carpets were so dirty we never took our shoes off.

Was threatened by member of staff. Am contacting trading standards, the police, a solicitor, and will take legal action if necessary. Disgraceful. Little more than a dosshouse.

Review 113：Very run down room, at breakfast was greeted by chef standing like astatue, only to find 3 tables that all had previous guests used dishes,he said "I didn't realise it was so busy" 5 minutes laterone of the tables was cleared for us. My friend asked could he havemushrooms instead of tomatoes, the reply from 'chef' was"there's not much call for mushrooms, the tins don'tkeep" (a bizarre answer) I do believe it's possible to obtainfresh mushrooms, and tins will keep for years if not pierced. Chef comewaiter appeared like he wanted to be somewhere else, like bed perhaps.

Personal hygiene of owner (as previous comments) could be improved. no heating in bathroom in room 7 hiwever when shower failed we were offered use of communal bathroom. I did mention these on our departure.
