Camping Les Biches sells fast on our site. Camping Les Biches is located in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez, just 2.5 miles from the beach. Set in 100,000m² of pine forest, it offers 4 swimming pools with waterslides, a lifeguard and a hot tub.
The mobile homes and chalets at Camping Les Biches feature a living area and a private terrace with a gas BBQ. All include an en suite bathroom and some also provide free Wi-Fi access.

Review 1：There was literally nothing to do in the evenings. The bar wasn't open in our whole two weeks and there was no shop or anywhere to get food on site. I also think having to clean the caravan at the end it a bit much it wouldn't take the staff long to do this.

Review 2：The setting in the woods is beautiful and the location is near a beach etc so was good. Pool was also nice

Review 3：Was not very clean. Swimming pool area was smelly, especially the footbath to go through. The indoor pool area was particularly dirty. Lifeguard not at pool all the time and only watching the slide area. Chalet was VERY basic and I am used to camping. Not 5 *. Very deceiving to have 5 stars. Don't know where they got them from. Entertainment in the evening was very late for families, starting at 10pm. Entertainment was 1 star not 5! Would be much nicer sites in the area.

Review 4：Kids club every morning only €1 per child and a great little French club for the kids.

Review 5：Location is decent. 4-5km from sea - so you need a car (last year we were spoiled by being able to walk onto a beach, so not being able to do so felt a let down... even though we knew when we booked! Not really anything else within walking distance. Our mobile home (for 6) was decent.. but not well designed e.g. only one 'settee' against one wall, and table and chairs... so not a cosy feel... but we saw inside a different mobile home, and it was much better. I guess it's down to luck Bike hire - reasonable price, but good luck there too! Tennis courts not cheap and have seen better days.

Review 6：Felt secure and relaxed. Pools were good. The bar area was nice compared to similar sites. Staff seemed committed. On site restaurant was reasonable and pretty good. Playground was nice for the youngsters. Kids' club was decent too. Nearby coastline was pretty good. Some nice beaches... not so keen on some of the buildings lining the coast though. Quite a few activities available within a 5-10 mile radius Bottom line is that we had a good time.

Review 7：It rained for more than half of our holiday. The free wifi barely functioned. The bar lacked atmosphere and the toilets weren't great. We went out for food because the restaurant looked rubbish. Forced to walk through water to exit pool. Fair enough going in but a dry exit would have been good. Check out process - didn't realise until we returned the key that you then have to return to your caravan to await inspection. Put us under pressure for getting to our ferry.

Review 8：The kids loved the pool, the swing park, the football pitch and the Ping pong tables. The campsite was a nice setting and close to St Gilles which was very nice with a great beach. Our caravan was quite new and pleasant.

Review 9：The beds were very uncomfortable no extra pillows available the trees were very overgrown above us with branches resting on the roof which was very noisy at night when windy

Review 10：We loved everything! Only thing that we didn't like was that France can be very expensive from a food and activities point of view.

Review 11：Just returned from 2 weeks with our 10 & 6 yr old. Les Biches is like a cross between a ParkDean site and Centre Parcs. The nicest holiday park we've stayed on. Lots of English campers around. Staff very friendly. Pool facilities were excellent and kids spent most of their time there. Lots to do in the area also with fantastic beaches.

Review 15：The first two weeks in June the shop, take away, bar & restaurant were only open at the weekend and a bit expensive 5.80 euro for 2 half pints of lager. Large pool lots of leaves, could do with more regular quick clean. Changing rooms could do with a freshen up.

Review 16：Caravan was good, staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities that were there were looked good, just not open all the time outside of school holidays. Pool was open and good just had to ask to get the slides turned on. Kiddies play ground was ok, just needs a bit of TLC. Good location, easy cycle access to local towns & beach.

Review 17：Internet was terrible ! Mini Golf needs maintenance and repairs ! Matrasses on the beds were poor quality, we did not sleep well this week. Negative comment for Booking.com: Our deposit made thru Booking.com was not received by the camping, not even sure how this is possible..... Also be advised this camping will charge an additional depost above the total costs that will be paid in full upon arrival, for us this was 230 euro !
