Reviews for Logis Frederic

Review 1:I believe the hotel has been renovated but the apartments that were separate are dated and could do with updating

Review 2:Location was fab as was the owner, very helpful and friendly

Review 3:Breakfast

Review 4:Warm and friendly staff Close to the beach

Review 5:very nice room with sea views, comfortable and quiet, two minute walk to beach and seveal restaurants

Review 6:This is a great place. The pictures do this house no justice. The apartment building is actually directly at the sea compared to the hotel which is just behind, but also easy access. The village centre, cycle rental and nice little shops are just 100m maximum, so is the tourist information. There are 2 beaches. One huge one to the right and a smaller one to the left. The apartment building itself right at the ocean on a small cliff. Nothing about the apartment building is described on the website, so here some more information. It is basic, but great for a family of 4 with younger kids as everything including the floor is easy to clean and not easy to be damaged. The balcony is safe, there is a separate bedroom with a shower and a hallway in between, which is great. In between on the hallway is the toilet. One double bed is in the kitchen come dining come living room. Staff was great, the lady spoke fluently English and German in addition to French. We really didn't need her all week. The location is outstanding. Not too busy, but also just 3km from a bigger city with the lovely town centre a very nice peer and light tower.

Review 7:The breakfast was nice however a bit pricey for just what was essentiallyj just bread and coffee.

Review 8:Location is excellent, right by the beach and a short walk to a few shops and bars. Catherine , the hotel manageress was very welcoming and friendly.

Review 9:It was excellent! The ocean view, the oyster bar with oysters from the market direcrly opposite the Hotel, the bycicle which I rent in the shop also opposite the Hotel and return to the owner of the Hotel (who also comes to the Hotel by bycicle) - becase the owner of the bycicle shop went on holidays... Home atmosphere and excellent place to have rest.

Review 10:Really lovely hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and prettily decorated in a traditional French style. Everything was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The en-suite was very spacious with an an luxurious slipper bath. I cannot coment on breakfast as, following the advice of previous reviews, we chose to eat breakfast at the cafe on the corner across the road. We asked what was available and the choice seemed a bit limited for 9.50 each. That aside, I would recommend the hotel and would gladly stay there again. There are plenty of good quality restaurants in the area, including at the port in St Gilles Croix de Vie, if you wish to go out in the evenings. My only complaint is that my wife has now decided that she too wants a slipper bath fitted in the bathroom at home!
