Review 4：When I came after a long day work to check in my room at 10.45 pm than my room was just like a garbage place. So onbelievable dirty and also other rooms from the group the same and that for a 4 star hotel. The elevator or the person could get in or the luggage but both not possible and also dirty. I have leave that hotel at that moment that the woman who was on the reception told me yes right that's your room. I have stay in many best western hotels but this I never seen en will it never see again aswell

Review 14：Just near the line 1, direct to the MOST IMPORTANTS places in Paris : Champs Elysées, Ile Saint Louis, Notre dame, Lafayette, Le Louvre, palais Royal....And just in front off the CHATEAU de VINCENNES !!! you can also take the Bus number 56 to the center off Paris !! We recommand this hôtel quiet and véry confortable bedroom with good level off confort, also a with véry good staff !!! Many goods and differents restaurants just near.

Review 24：Very nice hotel, located in a nice area. Its quiet (compared to other areas of Paris) but you also have some shops and services around. The main attractions of Paris can be reached with the metro or the RER.

Review 26：Great room (#2), crazy shower room! Convenient for travel fro CDG and into the centre of Paris, wonderful neighbourhood, lots of great restaurants nearby, and a lovely chateau and gardens for a walk in the fresh air just across the street.

Review 28：Really helpful staff, good room cleaning each day, comfortable beds and great bathroom facilities. Very close to Metro, just ten minutes or so into the heart of Paris - and after a day in that city it was so nice to come "home" to Vincennes and relax! This is a town with a lot going for it and you can stroll at leisure taking in the wonderful sights and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Best Western St. Louis to anyone, and if I'm lucky enough to return to Paris, this is where I'll be staying!

Review 29：The hotel is close to Parc Floral where there were classical open air concerts at the weekends throughout the summer- a lovely opportunity to relax and to get away from the hustle and bustle in Paris. Vincennes itself is a lovely village with very good access to the city centre.

Review 30：One of the staff was not friendly. Room was too small (but I supposethis is the common problem in Paris). They didn't accept my 500 eurobanknote I had to pay by credit card then. I would not call this hotel a4-star hotel rather a good 3-star hotel. Before our arrival, we askedtwice for a crib in our room but they forgot to put it. We had to askagain and then they provide us with a crib.

Review 50：This is the first Best Western at which we have stayed and these hotels will now be in our mix of favourite accommodation. The staff was fantastic and assisted us with the French language skills although they spoke very good English. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and refreshed each of the four days of our stay. Continental+ breakfast was available at a reasonable cost (no cooking) and the room was equipped with a jug and tea/coffee etc. The location to the RER and Metro is ideal making the trip into Paris central easy and reasonably straight forward once you get used to the rhythm of Paris. There are restaurants of all kinds within a five minute walk and the historic chateau is just across the street (don't miss this). We will use this hotel again - highly recommended.

Review 51：Virtually all systems are on the verge of breaking down: elevator is old, breaking down frequently; plumbing us poor (showering turns the bathroom into a pool); outdoor lights shine straight into windows; breakfast is depressing, certainly at the price it's at.

Review 60：I could use wifi only the first day. The room was at 4th floor and we couldn't get IP and go inside the wifi network of the hotel. I claimed everyday with the staff in the morning, promising me they would repeir it, but nothing was done. I couldn't use Wifi and internet in my room for all the rest of the holiday. And nowdays is quite frustating (only to see some information of weather, turistical site and write to some friends). Internet worked at the reception floor. Battery of the TV remote control was empty. But they changed me at the desk the next day. Staff not well prepared for turistical information. Hotel good, but more near to a ***. But maybe the standard in Paris are very low.

Review 61：The room is nice, and bathroom was new. A bit little, but for me absolutely ok and typical for old european city. Anyway I appreciated the bath was completely new. Moquete was good for warm. Last floor, window on the top. Near to the underground 1 (Vincenne - Terminal Line) and to the Vincenne Rail Way station (10-15 minute to the center of Paris, the fasted and preferred way to move in) Near the beautiful castle of Vincenne, really interesting to visit, with no rows of people to see it. Incredible! Zone calm and tranquil, full of little shops, backery, grocery and what else you need.

Review 64：The cleaner walked into our room on two occasions without even knocking. On one of the occasions we had the do not disturb sign on the door. On both occasions we were in bed which was no ideal.

Review 65：I was very impressed with this hotel. The pictures on the website do not do it justice as the hotel has some recently refurbished rooms which are very modern and luxurious so this hotel was excellent value for money. A little outside of Paris but on line one which is great for a lot of the attractions such as the luvre as you do not need to change lines. Metro is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and the castle and beautiful parks. The staff were very friendly. I would definately stay here again on my next trip. The hotel also kindly granted me a late check out of 2.30pm which was much appreciated.

Review 66：Had to pay for my stay when I checked in, which is not very common, which eventually caused a short discussion with one of the staff members whether I have actually paid or not. But, all was sorted within a few minutes and all done with a smile so not a big deal. Advice to staff: make sure your info is 100% correct before making any claims to your customer. Advice to guests: if you have to pay upfront, don't throw away the receipt.

Review 67：Even though the hotel is not in Paris, its located 2 walking minutes from a metro station. 10-15 minutes with the metro and you are in the center of Paris. The hotel is very clean and convenient and the staff is very friendly.

Review 68：Clean and comfortable hotel, located in a nice and well served (though not central) Paris area. The hotel room wasn't huge (but quite large, compared to other rooms in Paris), but was definitely clean and cozy. The hotel is only a couple of minutes on foot from the metro station, and the city center can be comfortably reached in approx 15 mins.

Review 69：There were under redecoration-refurbishing tasks along the corridors and inner garden, the lift did not function and I had to carrry a heavy luggage down three floors.

Review 70：We were warmly welcomed (though the hour was late) by the friendliest lady-receptionist ever, (originated from Poland). We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for all her efforts to make our one-night stay excellent. Thank you, madam! The hotel is located at the end of line 1 metro, it takes 20 minutes to get to Chatelet, the heart of Paris, there is a supermarket not far away. The room was perfect for us, we are generally fussy but the management paid attention to details in the room + bathroom and we like that.

Review 71：Breakfast was really bad. The fruit salad was gone off and the fruitbowl had new fruit put on top of mouldy fruit. I made the mistake ofeating a boiled egg and spent the day in bed being sick, this was mybirthday weekend and it was ruined.

Review 73：The hotel is going through some renovations and we got a beautiful room with new furniture, modern and clean bathroom, everything was ideal... It was not our first time at this hotel, we stayed before and we liked it a lot, that's why we came back, but this time we absolutely loved it. It's great to see that they're continuously improving their hotel. Vincennes is an exceptional alternative to other parts of Paris, which can be extremely crowded, noisy and sometimes dangerous. We're going back at the end of August and I think that speaks for itself.
