Review 1：Brilliant staff. Rhys the barman came to the rescue when we could not get a taxi to take us to Parc y Scarlets. The food including the complimentary nibbles at the bar, was excellent. First class breakfast.
Review 2：Parking was an issue but it didn't look like there was any room for more spaces so not sure how they could resolve it.
Review 3：The room was comfortable and the staff were really friendly. The food was great both at dinner and breakfast. More generous than some of the inclusive breakfasts you get!

Review 7：The hotel was easy to find and had parking for our car. The staff were very friendly and the food good. Rooms were very nice with a good bathroom. We appreciated not having to go out to look for dinner as we were late and very tired.
Review 8：Super friendly and professional staff. Very clean and smelt fresh. We were late checking in and the guys called and arranged everything for us. Just some feedback, the window was left open so when we got there the room was literally ice cold, no heating left on either. Careful nextime.

Review 13：This place is in a great location for the town centre and touring around the Gower Peninsular. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room we had was large with a good size toilet & bathroom, shower gel and hand soap was supplied, also the room was cleaned every day.

Review 18：Room is noisy as can hear the traffic from the road - I would suggest double glazing. Reception not easy to spot when coming in as merged with the bar on the restaurant side so when coning in from the main entrance you do not see the reception.
Review 19：Liked the welcome at arrival and at the bar for evening meal on the Saturday and large room. Evening meal on Saturday : Ribs were very nice.
Review 20：The bathroom had a stale smell to it. Got locked out of the hotel in the morning when I went to the cash point. Rang and rang the front door bell but no one answered. Had a 10 minute wait before I attracted someone's attention at the back door (9am.)

Review 24：On arrival we obtained a parking place - we left for a couple of hours and arrived back to find no spaces available for residents - after driving around the streets of Llanelli we found a parking in a residential street - with there being a function on the hotel should accommodate their residents and keep parking places available - also the rooms on this occasion were too warm and the window could only be open a smidgen to let in air - the room faced straight out onto the main thoroughfare (traffic all through the night)

Review 26：If you want a taste of a friendly cosy small welsh hotel look no further, the welcome was great, food good and a comfortable room. We have stayed before and would stay again.
Review 27：Check-in was at the pub counter! How fun. Excellent location. We stayed here for the rugby match, which was just a short cab ride away. However, the cab didn't appear. So, one of the employees drove us in his personal car! So, must say, great service. The food was good and the room was comfortable. But, limit your luggage as you will be walking stairs and narrow hallways to your room. Check out the Kilkenny Pub just up the road. You are likely to find some live music and some delightful people.
Review 28：The pub was being used for a wedding reception so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. The employed staff were very friendly but the management is poor and clearly didn't care once you had paid for the room upfront. Corporate hotel environment without the quality assurance All of this is OK but charging £75 / night is unreasonable.

Directly above the kitchen extractors, leaking gutter outside window (torrential rain). Next door to presumably the air conditioning unit for the whole building. Terrible night. Table booked for evening meal upon arrival. Menu in room different to restaurant, food took 1 hour to arrive.

Review 66：Having known this hotel for many years, I liked the refurbishment of the bar and restaurant area. I also like the newly fitted bedrooms. They have a grand Function Room where a large event was taking place and we were totally unaware of any noise in the bedroom wing.

Review 69：There was a big build up of dust on the radiators (appeared like they hadn't been cleaned in a while!) Both bath towels had some sort of marking or stains on them. Room was really hot but ironically the hotel's fan / cooling system made a noise every few minutes - eventually fell asleep so don't know if this carried on throughout the night.

There was only one room left (Room 6 ) and they explained that it was not their best room - it was extremely noisy with air conditioning fans whirring all night and to top it all a generator that was postioned on the other side of the wall behind the bed head that went on and off intermittently all night. You would need to experience it to see just how torturous it was. Subsequently, we both had no sleep whatsoever...

Review 82：Hard working friendly staff. Great food. Safe atmosphere. Short taxi ride or comfortable walk to the train. When we informed the staff that we were delayed they made arrangements for a late check in, if we needed it, and they kept the kitchen open. It was like coming home. A true 10!
