Reviews for Greylands Guest House

Review 1:Hallways/ stairways - very dark and cluttered with items of furniture. Wholesale supplies ( bottles of drinking water / B&B supplies etc). Staircases / steps narrow and steep - lots of steps to negotiate to the front entrance. No suitable for anyone with mobilability requirements. I speak from personal experience. I do not think the B&B actually refers to mobilability access on their site. I was allocated a single room during my stay . The en-suite layout was atrocious with a toilet blocking half the doorway and a folding door taking up the remaining space.

Review 2:The owners were friendly. Breakfast was good .

Review 3:The beds need new mattress we had three beds in our room we tried all three you can feel the springs and mattress dips and need to replace bulb in night light and clean out the wardrobe left door open but each time they did service they didnt clean it , Would be nice when weather is warmer to be able to open the windows let more air in and ceiling fan.

Review 4:Great location lovely sea view and friendly helpful staff cooked breakfast served each day by lovely kitchen lady who gave great service at breakfast.

Review 5:very welcoming in homely B&B, PET FRIENDLY excellent value and breakfast - home cooked - included. Very comfortable room and not a cobweb to be seen!! Tea/coffee facility in room and tv

Review 6:We did not have a bad experience as such, but we both found the beds extremely hard. We would have liked to have had bedside tables. As we had Victorian costumes as well as our usual clothes, there was not very much storage space.

Review 7:The view! Lovely comfortable, cosy atmosphere with nicely cooked good food for breakfast. Freedom to come and go! Megan the house dog!

Review 8:Its a great place to stay and would defo recommend it. The lady and gentleman are very friendly. Was pleased they accept dogs too. Fish and chips right near so don't need to go far to eat.

Review 9:There was only parking for three cars which might be a problem although I was able to park.

Review 10:Chris and Tony were friendly and approachable. Tony was helpful in suggesting things to do. The venue was near to to town centre. The room was comfortable.

Review 11:The en suite was quite small but the main problem was that the shower had very little pressure & it was either too hot or too cold.

Review 12:The cooked breakfast was very good. We were able to store our motorbikes over night in the lock up garage.

Review 13:Allocated first floor rear room overlooking hills by B.com, but shown second floor room at front overlooking car park.complained and re located to first floor room, but still overlooking car park. Not room as booked with you!

Review 14:Nothing not to like. Friendly helpful owners, secure bike storage, good breakfast. This is an excellent straightforward guest house, no unnecessary frills, very good value for money.

Review 72:Warm welcome, nice room, good breakfast, very friendly, safe cycle storage.

Review 73:Wonderful guest house. Good breakfast. Amazing staff. We've got advice on a day trip and this was absolutely superb.

Review 74:Shower cubicle bit small... shower head also small...extractor fan not really efficient ..just more of a noise rather than an expelor of steam and such likes

Review 75:Spacious bedroom area. . Tea making facilities Hairdryer Bottled water freely available. Hosts pleasant

Review 76:The poor house keeping lets this place down. A filthy bath mat on the shower room floor had been covered by a folded hand towel on both days, why not just take it up? Twin beds were very hard and lumpy. The worst thing was not being able to open the window, it was very hot in there and because we were at the back we were three floors up, who knows what would have happened if there had been a fire. The small turns in quite narrow stairs were stacked with packets of toilet rolls, bottled water etc. a real trip hazard. I found it worrying.

Review 77:The breakfast was hot and fresh and serving times very flexible. The chef/owner very pleasant.

Review 78:Room was on the small side, very little shelf space. Could do with a small table between the twin beds.

Review 79:Staff were friendly. The first B & B we have stayed in where they allow you to bring your evening meals back to the hotel & to use the breakfast room & kitchen facilities. A good plus.

Review 80:We would have liked a little more room in bedroom no table and only one chair, but ok for 1 night.

Review 81:The proprietors are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

Review 82:Great quiet guesthouse conveniently located in the centre of Wales providing quick access to a numerous picturesque destinations at Brecon Beacons and others. 3 of us stayed in the family room - the interior was very nicely decorated, en-suite shower was small but okay with hot water, tea/coffee with bisuits and water provided. All inside was clean and comfortable, slept very well. Cooked breakfast was fresh, hot and good. Hosts are very kind people happy to help and advise nice places to visit around. Would be happy to come back again!

Review 83:Room a bit too small, especially the shower, plus dodging the hot radiator next to the loo was a challenge!!

Review 84:Home from home feel. Nice and quiet, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Review 85:Friendly and informative staff.

Review 86:very friendly owners with helpful tips, nearby pub and supermarket, great views, lovely breakfast.
