Reviews for Appart'Hotel Odalys Les Jardins d'Elisa
Review 1:Apartment above had a child running around all day and screaming most of the night. As it was managed by someone else the hotel management could only put a letter under their door.
Review 2:If by car, you need to constantly circle the roundabout the hotel is on while your partner obtains the garage code. Parking is tight but if you have booked a spot you have an numbered parking place. Supermarket is a fair walk, but is very good.
Review 3:Walk into Monte Carlo in 20 mins. Very comfy apart. With good views & well equipped kitchen.
Review 4:You wont get any hotel staff /anyone at reception after specific hours, well, not that we faced any problem, but just saying.
Review 5:Had a exhibition to visit at Grimaldi forum, this place was unbelievably close to the venue! Even less than they show in the google map! Room was decent with amenities required.
Review 6:Need some knowledge to avoid hill climb. Actually bus stop is in front of the facility. I did not know and needed to tow my heaviest suitcase all the way from 110 bus stop at Casino.
Review 7:Quiet, Clean, Nice Bath Tub, Good Bed, Good Location, Very Good Staff except one so-so. Morning view of the sky was something.
Review 8:Communication was very poor with the night receptionist, the telephone number is on the door, if you arrive after 8:00pm. She couldn't speak english. Also no taxi service..
Review 9:Very clean, polite staff and helpful - excellent location. 5 minutes away from Monaco centre.
Review 10:Elevator broken for 2 days. Needed to take luggage for 5 floors by stairs. Facility very complexed organised. Room smelled like a fried kitchen.
Review 11:Good location to Monaco
Review 12:Terrace furniture could do with sprucing up a bit.
Review 13:Excellent location for everywhere in Monaco, staff extremely helpful. Cleanliness, fresh towels and beds made everyday. Shutters great for keeping the rooms cool. Spacious sea view rooms. Extremely enjoyable holiday at a great price.I would certainly recommend and will visit again in the future
Review 14:Bad service, not like picture at all. We took sea view for higher rate and was not worth it... Made problems about giving a second little shampoo !! Only gave one for 2 people, very pitty. Feel bad for the reception lady, as she was lovely, but for the rest very very poor
Review 15:Smell from the pipes. Very old bathroom needs renovation. Also, bathroom could be cleaner. No umbrela on the tarrace while very sunny place and it is hardly possible to use the balcony without any shade.
Review 16:Nice sea view from the balcony. Good price.
Review 17:The lift that would have given us a quicker way down into the town area wasn't working
Review 18:The room was very large and spacious and clean with a great deck area , the air conditioning was very necessary when we stayed so that was great
Review 19:There is nowhere to stop with car, while you go inside to get directions to car park, etc, and getting into and out of the underground car park is quite tight and a hairy experience until you get used to it.
Review 20:Walking distance to supermarket. Electric shutters were excellent for light and noise. The girl at reception was really helpful and cheery.
Review 21:The television didn't appear to be connected to the correct antenna. The wi-fi connection was a bit patchy
Review 22:The apartment was pleasant, spacious and clean. It was within easy distance of the town's main facilities, among down-to-earth townspeople rather than the usual snobby tax evaders
Review 23:We had a corner apartment C32, nice it wasn't on a lower floor, but some road noise at the front where tyres screech in the heat, this wouldn't put us off returning again.
Review 24:It had nice views over Monte Carlo and only a short distance away, it was easy to get to local shops, supermarkets and a pretty village feel.
Review 25:Research your route from the train station or get a taxi to avoid carrying your bags up many flights of stairs. Once you check in the staff will tell you about the public elevators which make accessing the waterfront very easy.
Review 26:Very nice modern apartment with ocean views around other buildings.
Review 27:There was no key in the safe (was promised). For a long time we were waiting for the concierge (more two hours). There wasn't place in the parking for us. The room was dirty smelly and not friendly. Description and photos do not correspond to the reality.
Review 28:Lack of sofa, lack of interphone to the front desk. Impossible leaving the room without the map we were provided. Lots of access codes, long cold corridors and elevators to get out/in or to the garage. Room was usually cleaned around 5pm, dishwasher was put to work for 2 (two!) glasses used for water.
Review 29:Valentina (receptionist) was really very nice and helpful. The big room, plenty of wardrobes, the big terrace with sea view although "city view" room booked.
Review 30:Arrangement of the hotel, which is actually consist of three connected buildings on different levels is very difficult for orientation inside. There is no signs for orientation for parking levels, for buildings A,B and C and also where is the reception and where is exit to Monaco. Big part of the hotel inside looks as "under construction". No space in front of the hotel to park the car when arriving. Parking entrance, exit and level switching inside is very difficult for manage with big car
Review 31:Good location, just 10 min walking distance to Casino Monte Carlo. Big rooms
Review 32:If you go by car, and want to use their parking for 12 euros a day, I recommend getting a code to open the security doors before you go to the reception, there is no parking outside the residence. Ask for a map of the residence too, so you can take the elevators.
Review 33:We where given a lovely room, with a sea view. The room had both a bed,and a sofa. The service provided by the staff was very good, especially from Christine, who was adorable, and very helpful. About a 10 mins walk to most places, a bit more if you want to see the yachts.
Review 34:Without knowing the entry code to the garage, you had to pull up outside the hotel (which is on a roundabout) check in to get the code and then park in the garage.
Review 35:A very good location close to Monaco, with good facilities at a very reasonable cost. Safe car parking in the garage. Several reasonable price restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. The border into Monaco is about 600 metres walk.
Review 36:Parking was a hassle. No where to park whilst checking in before being able to get into the car park. Not that clearly sign posted. For around €170 I would also expect better that a sofa bed to sleep on.
Review 37:I did like the location and the staff member checking me in was helpful.
Review 38:I really enjoyed my residence for 3 nights in this hotel....the views from the rooms were fascinating....the suite is supplied with all facilities for a comfort residence...the staff were friendly...I would like to come again next year and I recommend this hotel to those coming to Monaco...
Review 39:No one at reception when we and a couple others arrived. Had to wait 1-1/2 hours. No help with luggage. No place to park on arrival. The warren of halls to get to rooms is a nightmare. Tunnel to parking is for a Mini or VW Bug only. You can' get out of garage without code which we were not told about, took 20 mins in cave to find the code. So miserable we had booked and paid for two nights but left after the first night.
Review 40:Location to casino was good.
Review 41:We had a short stop planned for Monaco and the hotel was ideal located. Please note that to get around there are a series of lifts and underground passages so get directions from the hotel before you arrive. We didn't and had a real hill climb to from the train station to the hotel. Reception staff very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Wifi was weak and some of our devices could not pick it up at all. Travelling with three older children this was a real disappointment. The kitchen was sparse in that there were no dishcloths, drying towels but there were tablets for the dishwasher. Plates and bowls were limited as well. View was wonderful and I would happily book the hotel again.
Review 42:hard beds noise from road a lot of walking to anything lack of local shops don't go to parking with a roof box or large car very limited space and height
Review 43:staff very helpful parking available clean apartments spacious rooms and balcony
Review 44:Staff gave us very inaccurate information feel totally conned by staff us into a 90 euro taxi then no answer to my complaint emails about various issues. Apartments are flats for locals too so you have people doing home improvements which sounded like a carpet being payed right up to 1am. Extremely unhappy with the room and the service
Review 45:Nothing
Review 46:The view from the room was not in accordance with our booking. We explicit asked for at room with a good view to the sea according to the picture on booking.com. Our room showed out to be just above the basemen parking, where as the picture on booking.com were taken 8 floors above our room with a view to the sea. There were no facilities at the hotel. The staff had a very dimissive attitude towards our complaints about the room and no refund were made.
Review 47:All the above
Review 48:Very long wait to check in. No see vie, as was promissed
Review 49:Limmited check in time. We had to check in before 8:30 pm
Review 50:Good location and parking
Review 51:staff and hot water are not 24 hrs available
Review 52:staff very friendly
Review 53:Great location for Grimaldi, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance, great views and spacious 2 bed penthouse apartment.
Review 54:The parking/locating your condo would be difficult to maneuver if you arrive at night
Review 55:The location
Review 56:the hospitality of the staff. they accomodated fast the request that my grandmother cant walk! we will always stay here!
Review 57:It was too far from Monaco, not very helpful manager, wifi was awful.
Review 58:The view was pleasant.
Review 59:Parking space too small for our car, Smell in the entrance
Review 60:Good service, nice location
Review 61:Everything was just perfect!
Review 62:Walk down to main area is steep and slopey.
Review 63:Room sizes are good. Very good value for money. Has parking also. Not far from main areas.
Review 64:Nothing really
Review 65:Location, two bed apartment was very spacious.
Review 66:two bedroom face to local road with 24 hours traffic no isolation at all feel like sleep on the road
Review 67:Lack of parking to drop off
Review 68:Room , view, facilities
Review 69:This was in a good location amd good value for money
Review 70:All staff was great
Review 71:Location to Monte Carlo is great.

Review 80:Very friendly staff. The hotel has a very nice location
Review 81:Location location location. Very reasonable. Ocean view. Wonderful and on site parking
Review 82:rooms are somewhat dull and unfurnished.
Review 83:location and kindness of staff
Review 84:Shower over the bath.
Review 85:Spacious. Balcony. Close to casino area.
Review 86:Good sized studio, lovely balcony! Everything we needed. About a 10 minute walk into Monaco perfect for us!
Review 87:The apartment was large, modern and clean - nice balcony with a sea view. Parking was excellent and the staff were very helpful
Review 88:Laundry room was a bit far
Review 89:space vs money sea view
Review 90:the sofabed
Review 91:To small parking places
Review 92:Good view on the mountains and the sea
Review 93:Location, Comfortable rooms, excellent staff
Review 94:Seeing Monaco was great from here
Review 95:No parking for check-in.
Review 96:Private Parking if available. Helpfulness of staff. View. Apartment size and kitchen. Internet service was excellent.
Review 97:Really polite/helpful staff
Review 98:staff are very friendly and assist you whenever you need them. large open space rooms and balcony with sea views
Review 99:We wouldn't go back. The "bed" is actually a sleeper/sofa bed. You heard me right, the kind of "springy" thing your relatives have to endure in your guest room. My husband is a big guy, and it was very uncomfortable for him. The room is huge, empty and cold, with no color and nothing warm or inviting about it. The best part is it has patio doors and a huge deck. We liked the deck, but it just wasn't enough to draw us back. Beware of parking if that's a big part of your decision to stay here. The manager was very nice and gave us a private garage for our large motorcycle. But the "driveway" into the underground parking garage is very narrow, dark, slick and STEEP. You go down several levels and it's a blind drive - traffic could be coming the other way. It might be just fine in a small car, but for us it was downright scary. I would say this. If you HAVE to see Monaco, and you MUST do it on the cheap, go head and book this because its a very expensive area. However, if Monaco is a "hmmm, maybe we want to go..." then pass and go north into the South of France. Much more quaint and much easier and see and do.
Review 100:Well, here's the good part. It's an apartment. So if you want to bring food, coffee making supplies, and all the comforts of home back to your room, you can. The other good part is the deck. It's huge, with tons of room to spread out and have breakfast or dinner outside. The view is... pretty good. From our room, not spectacular, but OK. Not of the water, and not toward downtown Monaco or even in that direction. Our view was of the hillside of homes alongside the aparment building with a peek a boo view of the water between buildings. So if you always book a view room like we do - don't have huge expectations of this one, and remember the price is right. The manager is very nice, and the building is right on a large roundabout on a main street and easy to find. The walk into Monaco is easy. We found a very expensive but fabulous restaurant a 10-minute walk away. This place definitly has its advantages in terms of price and location, but in this particular case - you get what you pay for...
Review 101:A real bed would have been perfect, but sofa bed was fine as long as you like firm mattress
Review 102:So close to Monaco centre and Grimaldi Forum, great self catering and Sun drenched balcony
Review 103:Not enough hot water for the third member of our party to have a hot shower - at $300 a night that's just not right - but for Monaco (or, let's face it, Monaco adjacent) that's still a good deal.
Review 104:Best thing? The staff. They were all excellent. Really, really good.
Review 105:Very clean. Everyday the maid came in and even put and emptied the dishwasher. Sun on balcony in the morning for breakfast and easy access to the beach down the lifts, even though we were up in Beausoliel
Review 106:poor shower, noise from lift all night intrusive
Review 107:location was good but a lot of walking into Monaco! Good supply of hot water and on site parking was a bonus, good value
Review 108:It is not a hotel style. No reception after 8pm.
Review 109:The location was nice. It was close to everything (keep in mind it is Monaco). The staff was friendly
Review 110:The underground parking was not available to us until check-in. We would have liked to have received the parking codes prior to our arrival so that we could enjoy the area before our check-in time. The bath/shower did not have any grip and was quite slick when soapy and wet. The bed was adequate but not comfortable. We could hear the neighbors' voices and them dragging their chairs across the tile floors.
Review 111:The location was very convenient for walking into Monte Carlo. The kitchen was a wonderful option for us to be able to eat a few meals without having to go out to find a restaurant. The apartment was able to provide an infant crib and it was set-up upon our arrival. The daily cleaning service was a nice feature.
Review 112:I did not get wi-fi access info as part of welcome documentation, whichdid prove to be a real inconvienience as the office closed on the date Iarrived at 8pm .
Review 113:The shower facilities could do with upgrading as the current showercurtains were ineffective resulting in alot of water on thebathroom floor.
Review 114:This hotel is set up as a budget serviced apartment I.E. no fancyfurniture or facilities. But it was very good value for money and suitedour needs purely for a bed to sleep in and plenty of room for luggage. Also the balcony was an attaraction and was put to good use. The carparking was also a great bonus and relatively cheap for europeanstandards.
Review 115:We booked a room with a Seaview but it was more of a sea squint, and that was if you stood on the balcony lent over and looked right! And at £170 per night, it wasn't cheap, I would've expected more!
Review 116:Has car parking
Review 117:Next to the car park with public access.
Review 118:Fully equipped apartment with good facilities. View from balcony was good. Distance from centre of Monaco/Monte Carlo.
Review 119:Maybe more lounge seating, as the sofa was used for children's bed, so had to resort to sitting at dining table if we wanted to sit inside. Kitchen didn't have an oven which may be an issue for some people, it made us just have easy dinners.
Review 120:The location of the apartment was right on the border with Monaco, so fantastic for a very reasonable price & so near to everything. Parking underneath the building & reasonable daily cost. The apartment was extremely clean, roomy for 5 people. Balcony was very large & relaxing with a beautiful view. Laundry facilities were great on the bottom floor, had to pay to wash, but the cost was much cheaper than laundry mat.
Review 121:The parking space was not reserved on the arrival day (At the last we could use the hotel parking thanks to the front staff). The structure of hotel buildings and access code system were a little complicated... it's like a danjon in "Dragon Quest" !
Review 122:The room was large enough, comfortable, and cleaned everyday. Everything we need were equiped in the kitchen.
