Review 1：Upon arrival we were checked in by a very welcoming staff member (Nicolas) who gave us plenty of information on the sites of Paris and transportation. The apartment was huge for Paris standards and our family of 6 felt very much at home here. The surrounding area was lovely and a 10-15 minute walk to the Metro from where we were able to get around quite easily. This property is great value for money.
Review 2：I found the location a bit of a grind and it's more remote than I remembered but I'd still come back. We just didn't have enough time to enjoy Vincennes itself.

Review 6：The walk to/from the Metro was about 15-20 minutes...there was a local bus that would have taken us closer to the Royal Regency, but we did not use it. Try asking for a renovated unit. Some units are greatly in need of updating.

Review 8：Staff member is rude, specially Edoine. Our room was not ready when wearrived in the afternoon (after check-in time). We requested twin bedand we were obliged to accept a double bed and a couch as an "upgrade". So we left the room after check in expecting everythingwould be solved, but when we got back about midnight, the samesituation: The couch not done and not even one sheet (we asked Edoineand he didn't trust us, he got very angry to the room to verify,slamed the door, saying "it is not my problem". We askedinformation about how to rent a bike, and Edoine said he didn'tknow, because he never used it. Internet was charged, even though it wasgiven for free by Laurent when we arrived. We double checked the daybefore our departure, but we had to pay anyway. Detail: Even paying 6euros per night for using wi-fi, it was not high speed, bad connectionand it was suspended the night before we leave the hotel.

Review 14：The hotel wanted to charge us for the use of the safe, even though my booking confirmation explicitly stated that safe (along with shower, TV, etc.) was included in the room rate. One hotel staff argued that the key of the safe was not included! The lighting in the kitchenette was too dim for anyone to use the kitchenettee safely.

Review 30：I dislike European economy hotels which, in my experience, have been cramped, dingy and uncomfortable. In contrast, the Royal Regency offered apartment style living at reasonable price in a building that was modern, comfortably-furnished, well-kept and easily accessible. I would heartily recommend it to any family more interested in visiting Paris. The self catering was simplified by an excellent boulanger and market each within three minutes' walk and ready access to the restaurants and brasserie of Vincennes when we chose to eat out. The staff were consistently warm friendly and helpful.

Review 43：Renovations are taking a long time and whilst the living area and kitchen of our room were great the carpet and the bathroom were not up to scratch and the hallways are dreadful. They are attending to this and when this is done the location will be superb.
