Reviews for Hotel Blason
Review 1:Too hot, no fans. Had to open window but it was too loud to sleep. Bed was uncomfortable. No hot water for the 4 days there. A friend had a mouse in her room! Overall the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Review 2:The cleaner was the only good thing about this hotel.
Review 3:Room was tiny, I booked a triple for extra space, but it was a small double with an extra single bed put in. There was no air con, very noisy from bar downstairs & the staff were talking loudly in the street till about 1.30am. No hot water / shower for 2 days!!!! At the end of the stay we discovered an old blood stain on sheet, and an old dirty sock hung on firs sprinkler on ceiling.
Review 4:It was a convenient location for our business trip, Staff were nice
Review 5:No air conditioning, and no fans provided given there was a 38 degree heatwave. Opening the windows was like blowing a hot hairdryer into the room doubled with the excruciating noisy traffic from the busy street below. We hardly slept a wink the whole stay. At one point there was no running water in the room at all, and no hot water for the duration of our stay. Luckily it was hot enough to need the cold shower! Also we saw mice running all over the floor of the bar during our breakfast
Review 6:Excellent food at the bar downstairs and friendly staff. In a great location for where we needed to be.
Review 7:Not very comfortable beds with far too soft matresses, hardly any sound insulation to the outside or the inside, wildly fluctuating water pressure in the shower, with water occasionally vanishing completely. The furniture is dated and very uncomfortable. I was staying alone in a 3-bed room, so the space was enough, but would be very crowded for three people, taking into account that more than half of the room was under the slope of the roof. It would be OK for half the price I was charged, but not for the price I paid.
Review 8:Friendly staff, very good location, few minutes walking from both the metro and the urban railway station.
Review 9:The only issue I had was that the space was so narrow between beds that it was difficult to sit down on the bed and put on my shoes.
Review 10:Staff was very friendly and helpful, although the English was a challenge -- it was totally not a problem. The hotel is right across from the Chateau, and was a very easy walk to metro & Parc Floral.
Review 11:My only issue was noise at night from the traffic, but that can't be helped and weighing that up against the location. If the hotel, I put up with the traffic!
Review 12:Cosy rooms, very clean, maid service each day. Adequate breakfast for the cost, superb location for the metro and RER to Paris. Great food and entertainment in the bar below.
Review 13:Odd bed coverings. Lack of carpet.
Review 14:Lovely friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Plenty of hot water. Hotel exactly where we wanted to be for the Theatre du Soleil.
Review 15:Uncomfortable beds - there are mattresses laid on top of each other and you roll into the middle, the whole place is too dark, you can't see where you are going and the rooms are gloomy. There is no ventilation in the bathroom so after a minute of so there is condensation pouring off the ceiling and the whole room steams up. The breakfast - for 8 euros is poor - a vending machine coffee and half a baguette.
Review 16:Conveniently located for where we needed to be in St Vincennes. The bar is warm and friendly.
Review 17:Stairs and common area outside our room were poorly lit. Rooms should have complimentary drinking water
Review 18:Excellent location and value for money. Family room is little cosy , but that was expected Staff were very helpful ..
Review 19:The only drawback was that there is no elevator, but it was only a minor inconvenience.
Review 20:The hotel is in an excellent location. It's close to two metro stops and the bus station, so you can catch a bus to many places or take the metro right to Gare de Lyon station, which is very convenient. The staff are very friendly and speak both French and English. The view from my window was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. You can eat right at the hotel, but there are also many places to eat nearby as well.
Review 21:its very expensive than its arrangement...they did not provide a bottle of water...the room has no freeze...
