Review 1：For the look of the hotel on the outside with its grounds you would expect that the rooms would match but our bathroom had paint peeling off and the coving was splitting along with the cupboard under the sink looked as tho the corner had been cracked in. Plus the staff didn't seem very welcoming, it's not that hard to smile when you pass your guests.

Review 8：Staff very helpfull. Superior twin room is a suite with 2 double beds and they were very comfy, loved it. Parties were on but once in room couldn't hear a thing. Food excellent too.

Review 25：1) Staff were friendly and helpful but not always able to deal with problems - I needed some reports printed off from a USB memory stick and although we eventually got them printed the lady needed some direction and help in order to do this. 2) There was a problem with the restaurant - my food came back to me cold - the chicken in the Tika Masala was cold. 3) I was not offered something different or a discount??

Review 37：We decided to treat ourself and stay in the penthouse (03/10/2015). Very big, old fashioned decor but still lovely and clean. Get bath was amazing but go easy with the bubbles haha. Bed was very hard which was a shame as was hard to get comfy and there was no hot water in the morning so was unable to have a bath or show. WiFi also did not work

Review 42：The shouting , freighting and screaming from the wedding party which was staying over the same time as us that was around 2230 then some chap tried to kick down our room door at about 2300-0030. The worse bit was no one said any thing regarding the incident until we mentioned it at reception when we were booking out so I think the staff were hoping it might be over looked by us.

Review 55：Friday night we were kept awake till 12.30 as there was a tribute act in the hotel, it was as if we were in the same room. If your a family which is early to bed early to rise then I would ask on booking whether they have any functions on!! I feel we should have been told on arrival as personally I wouldn't have stayed.

Review 67：Arrived a little earlier than check in, and asked if they could check if our rooms were ready as we had travelled all the way from Leicester (3hours) with 4 young children... Staff didn't even check and was very dismissive and rude. So we carried on and spent the day at Skegness pier and beach etc... When we came back to check in later that day, no one was at the desk, it took a long time for someone to come, when we had sleepy children... When eventually given our rooms, the children's beds were not made up... So tried to call front desk, but no answer, had to go back to the front desk in person and advise there were no sheets or pillows for the children's bed, which then had to be made... The person who made the beds up for us, was extremely apologetic and swift with making the beds, also advised that we could've checked in a little sooner as this often happens if rooms are ready!!! So unfortunately... The service experience was poor.

Review 69：The dealings with long standing staff could be a little difficult. They seemed a little set in their ways. Simple requests tested their patience. The head of housekeeping on the other hand went above and beyond.

Review 94：There are two restaurants the boathouse which is great. they serve a tapas menu but not until after 9pm which was a shame. The main hotel, the staff were great and tried really hard to be accommodating but the evening menu is very limited and I and to order off menu in the end which is my first time! Can't fault the staff for their attempts to accommodate but really the menu needs to be extended.
