Reviews for Hotel Le Temps De Vivre

Review 1:Loved it all...minus the bright pink throw on the end of the bed! Stick with the neutrals

Review 2:Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Staff very friendly and willing to help.

Review 3:The room we had (14, on the second floor) was very comfortable, but the spiral staircase was a little tricky for my partner to negotiate. Lights came on automatically going up the staircase, but not when you were coming down or accessing the room via the lift. The wifi signal in the room was very weak, but perfectly fine if you went to the lounge next to the lobby.

Review 4:The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the main street, and depending on which grade of room you book, you have views of the sea. It is a quiet and tranquil place, with consistently pleasant and helpful staff.

Review 5:I was a bit surprised at check out that the hotel had already deducted the bill from my credit card. It is more usual for a guest to present the credit card again so that the bill can be checked by the guest.

Review 6:The whole experience from the welcome to the wonderful breakfast was first class. Parking not a problem as the hotel supplies a disc allbe it you have to move the car after 1 1/2 hours. We had room 4 with plenty of room soft fluffy towels and beautiful views

Review 7:No restaurant on site but we were aware of that before we booked.

Review 8:Staff were superb - attentive and helpful. Location was very convenient in the centre of town.

Review 9:Only shower in bathroom, need to book room with bath next time.

Review 10:Lived up to expectations, good size compfortable room, nicely decorated, central position for town.

Review 11:Silly, shallow "modern" basin & tweaky tap. Same for shower control - spraying out horizontally ! Keep it simple folks !.

Review 12:Atentive management & staff. quiet location away from main town centre. Room overlooked quiet courtyard. Don't be put off by the nearby clanging church bell - it stops at 2200 !

Review 13:Bedroom had bare walls no art Bathroom had limited space for make up toiletries etc. No other storage other than wardrobe such as drawer space. Room had 2 sets table chairs not good use of space and not needed for a room sleeping only 2 people.

Review 14:Location Character of building lovely winding stone staircase

Review 15:The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, and the room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely position, right by the sea and in the centre of town, with plenty of parking and restaurants nearby.

Review 16:Amazing bedroom with panoramic windows overlooking the sea and the Isle be Batz. Breakfast in the room at no extra charge. Friendly and helpful staff. Tranquil garden and courtyard between hotel reception and room

Review 17:rooms a bit small, room doors not very sound proof. Sliding door to restroom.

Review 18:fantastic locale, old granite house, nice modern decor but simple. The house stands straight in the sea, and the view from our room was breathtaking, nearly as if from a boat, all water. Staff was nice, hotel feels homely. walking distance to all restaurants and town center. Will happily come again, and highly recommend.

Review 19:We could not book one room for 2 adults and 3 kids. So, the costs for two rooms were a bit expensive for us. Wifi was Ok in one room, but not in the other room.

Review 20:Very good hospitality. Breakfast in the room with sea view was great!!

Review 21:Nothing!

Review 22:Quirky old hotel, completely modernised with all up to date features and facilities. Friendly helpful reception staff who offered to book us a massage at short notice.

Review 50:Helpful receptionist. Quiet and comfortable. Good bed. Large room with good view of the church.

Review 51:Nothing

Review 52:Roscoff and restaurants

Review 53:Poor design shower, spays onto floor in bathroom. Could do with a re-grout and mastic.

Review 54:Locatio, size of the room, facilities available.

Review 55:too basic and simple for a 4 stars hotel very low wifi signal

Review 56:Nice position, warm welcome

Review 57:no bathroom

Review 58:position staff Breakfast

Review 59:The staff were extremely pleasant & very welcoming. A well positioned very comfortable hotel.

Review 60:Granite stonework starting to crumble in one small area Wi-Fi did not work in our bedroom

Review 61:Well located Pleasant staff, helpful and considerate Lovely bedroom and bathroom Very well furnished and fitted out Spotlessly clean

Review 62:Steep spiral stairway might represent a minor problem with access to some rooms

Review 63:Everything! Can't praise this hotel more highly and have no hesitation in recommending it. The staff especially were excellent, very friendly but courteous and efficient and couldn't have been more helpful and resourceful.

Review 64:Design seems to have taken precedence over function in several ways eg very poor storage in bedroom, shower that was virtually impossible to use without soaking floor. Our room felt cramped and lacked a decent view. It also suffered from noise from a fan nearby throughout the night. Lack of guest lounge meant this was a glorified B&B. Price we paid was extremely poor value and breakfast at 15euros per head was outrageous. To cap it all, the Ibis Hotel next door had rooms with a sea view at two-thirds of the price plus all-you-can eat breakfast for 9.50euros! As English guest house owners ourselves we feel we can speak with some authority!

Review 65:Good location in a lovely old town. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed.

Review 66:Nothing at all.It was excellent We were sad to leave

Review 67:The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.Book a room with a view of the sea and enjoy amazing views, and the sound of the sea.

Review 68:The fantastic location, the view from our room and the sea lapping against the side of the hotel. An excellent breakfast and central location near restaurants. very comfortable. We'll be back.

Review 69:Splendid old mansion in the midst of a charming and romantic old seaside town. The best rooms with a breath-taking seaside view. Modern and stylish high grade interior, very clean and confortable.

Review 70:no fresh fruit or juice, no homemade jam nor eggs for breakfast !

Review 71:everything ok for room with sea view - waves at your feet ! - quietness - staff- location in roscoff.

Review 72:Bed was marginally comfortable. It was a split mattress and the crack between was not always conducive to a good nights sleep. This was probably just our room.

Review 73:The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was right in the heart of Roscoff. The facility was great with lots of attention to detail. Internet was included and worked well everywhere.

Review 74:It was not worth the extra cost as breakfast wasn't included, compared to the next hotel we stayed at , £60 a night cheaper

Review 75:The bed was comfortable, and it was historically interesting building.

Review 76:The hotel is run by owner occupies...it shows....they were very helpful and created a very good atmosphere in the hotel. I liked this place a lot.

Review 77:When room was booked, it was described as having a view of the church square, but it was a courtyard view room. It was also quite small and we also thought it expensive

Review 78:It was in the centre of town, nice building, friendly, helpful staff

Review 79:No restaurant for evening meals in the hotel but there are plenty of restuarants within 5 mins walk in the main town.

Review 80:Location is excellent - in centre of roscoff, with rooms facing the sea (if you choose a sea facing one). Built in a stone building with a turret. Nice breakfasts, and wonderful location. Parking outside the hotel is free for an hour and a half, but all day free parking is available within 5 mins walk.

Review 81:The hotel is way over priced and breakfast is not even included. Theroom was small, especially for the price charged. The bathroom is notclosed off from the room and can be seen by anyone from the next doorhotel who puts their head out of the window. The toilet in the room isin a tiny cupboard.

Review 82:The room had a lovely view of the sea. It is very clean and the plumbingis completely modern.

Review 83:The staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was perfectly clean with a modern design. It was located centrally for the town and only 5 minutes drive from the ferry port. The building was a beautiful old town house with real character.

Review 84:the breakfast although very gaad quality and beautifully presented was the same every morning after a few days would have liked more variety

Review 85:luxury location my grandson liked it because he had a lollipop on his pillow every evening

Review 86:Thought 15 euros per person for French breakfast too steep so ate incafes.

Review 87:Excellent staff extremely helpful. Lovely clean and well furnished room.Excellent location in centre of Roscoff.

Review 88:I did not think it had many facilities, the room decoration was abit too "minimalist", and I thought the price, without breakfast, was too high.

Review 89:Only there one night, but it is in a good position, near town centre andbeaches. It is friendly and relaxed.

Review 90:However no facilities ie no bar/ room service/resturant but plenty ofplaces to eat close by.

Review 91:Lovely historic building in a beautiful square &v close to thetown centre.

Review 92:A beautiful hotel, in a beautiful setting. It sits between two large'chain' hotels. But doesn't compete, and so gives a lovely relaxedenvironment.

Review 93:Lovely welcome from friendly english speaking staff who were helpful. Beautiful clean room. Really nice hotel. I am looking forward to re-booking very soon. Absolutely faultless.

Review 94:1. No parking.2. No restaurant facility other than breakfast. 3. The contemporary furniture used in the breakfast room was not comfortable (seats too low).

Review 95:Central location and reasonably comfortable after a ferry crossing.

Review 96:Whilst we got a very good deal, the standard rates seem rather steep for Roscoff outwith the height of the season. The EUR 15 charge for breakfast (which we decided not to take) seems high.

Review 97:This really is a remarkably nice little hotel. Everything is done to a very high standard with crisp well finished interiors, beautiful heavy cotton bed sheets and a general impression of attention to detail.

Review 98:nothing

Review 99:very quiet, beautifully styled and very convenient location. The owners and staff were very helpful.

Review 100:The view was fabulous. The hotel was small and pretty. So clean and thoughtfully considered. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff.

Review 101:The staff were friendly and helpful,we loved the sea view, the facilities, the breakfast, the town, all was excellent.

Review 102:Perfect. Close to the town centre; at the very edge of the sea and a very relaxing few days. Every comfort.

Review 103:nothing!

Review 104:Lovely room, good facilities, helpful staff.

Review 105:No door on bathroom. Breakfast were a little pricy.

Review 106:Views from the bedroom. Very friendly staff. Nice warm rooms.

Review 107:No view of the sea and no opportunity to make a hot drink.

Review 108:Friendly staff and very clean room .

Review 109:Location, Design, Staff

Review 110:Nothing negative to say.

Review 111:Attention to detail. Customer service. Design of the room and the quality of everything in it. very comortable

Review 112:The location over looking the harbour. Hotel was very central and a short walk to a wide range of amenities.

Review 113:Very clean, chic and stylish.

Review 114:Sea views from our room were stunning. Waves crashing below window
