All of the apartments at Athamante & Valériane have a fully equipped open-plan kitchen (2 or 4 electric hotplates, refrigerator, microwave-grill oven, dishwasher, electric coffee-maker and a kettle) a private bathroom and a private balcony or terrace.
During the winter season (Christmas, Easter and French School holidays), children from 6 to 12 years old are offered free activities run by a coordinator, 3 half days per week per child during French school holidays (registration on site for available places).
The entire Pierre & Vacances Athamante & Valériane is serviced by a lift and has an outdoor terrace with pleasant views of the surrounding area.
There is a shopping delivery service available at an additional cost only during the winter season. Bread and pastries delivery service is available at the reception.

Review 1：I did not have a bad experience, but these are things I would have liked to know before hand: 1. Town´s paid Wifi: it does not reach well the building. Pay for 1 hour and see if it works before paying for the whole week. It´s a shame that a serious business like this does not solve this nuisance. 2. The beds in our apartment were about 1.85m long and a bit narrow. They were ok for us, but it can be a problem for very tall people. 3. The French Ski School (ESF) is at the top of the town, three bus stops away (bus No. 1 and 3, direction Clubmed). It is about 15 minutes walking, but it is a very steep climb and there is no way you can do it easily with ski gear and kids. Study the bus route as soon as you arrive, plan accordingly, and always make sure it is going UP and NOT down hill (direction Aigle Blanc). Improvisation or not paying attention may cost you a lot of time or even a ski class.
Review 2：1. Unbeatable location: close to the main shops and restaurants, the main ski lift (Altispace), the free shuttle service (Le Bourg stop), and right next to a toboggan run (piste de luge). You can arrive skiing right next to where you are staying and store the skis in the super convenient storage. 2. Well equipped apartment, including a kitchen, where everything worked as advertised. You can also ask for extra stuff from the reception, including a hair dryer or games. 3. Possibility of paid, covered, parking right below the apartments (Parking Teppes, or P1, costs about 65 euros per week). If you are coming with a family with small children, do not hesitate and take it. The other parkings are not nearby and may already be full. 4. Valmorel is an absolutely fantastic place to visit with small children. Everything is superbly organised and there are plenty of different activities every day. Just plan ahead to make sure you profit from them.
Review 3：WIFI, WIFI, WIFI, WIFI. There is a subscription provided for the entire village, but the signal was so bad (if the wind blew in the correct direction, we might have had 1 line ;-) ) so we decided not to buy it and use our GSM data plan on roaming - which increased our general costs. Also, time to time we could hear the road-snow-cleaning machines in the middle of the night, but nothing disturbing.
Review 4：ski storage, well equipped, clean, neat, close to the ski & sledge slopes, (quite expensive) parking nearby, excellent view, close to ski school and shopping area. basically, all you need to have an outstanding winter-vacation.
Review 5：Wi-fi was quite expensive(9 eur per day, 30 per week) also as a parking - 65 eur per week.
Review 6：We booked an apartment for 6-7 people, it was quite spacious, with fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Location is really nice - about 200 meters to the ski lift. Three floors of underground parking and the opportunity to come down straight from the apartment.

Review 8：Location was fantastic. Studio was very spacious, warm and comfortable. With amazing views. Ideally situated in resort, close to facilities, ski lifts and bus stop.
Review 9：The french student receptionist was very rude, although we had bookedthe largest apartment we were given a smaller apartment and had a longstruggle to get another room. The hotel attitude was "there is nothingwe can do" very basic budget accommodation expect to be "squeezed in"
