Review 2：Friendly staff, location is in the middle of no-where. perfect place to just relax. next to the beach with a perfect view of the mountains.
Review 3：This Inn and Taberna was really special. The family who runs it are so sweet welcoming. Three little kittens visit you on your porch or at the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious, locally sourced and totally homemade. After going off to remote beaches for several days in the south of Crete, the quietest beach and best snorkeling of the trip was right there below the inn. I really just wish these folks all the best of luck. And thank you again for your olive oil. It was one of the key food memories of the whole trip! Yes, our stay here will remain one of our most cherished memories of our visit to Greece. Highly recommended.

Review 6：Everything was absolutely amazing. The owner was such a kindly, helpful, heartly and wonderful woman. We eated at the taverna everyday and the meals was perfect. Big portions and cheap price. The room was big, clean, beds very comfortable, there was big terrace and very beautiful flowers around. Also these beautiful cats around :) There was a great surprise - welcoming drinks, also there was a drink and snacks in the room. She gave us a good bye gift - olive oil from their farm. Such a good time at this place, we wished to stay longer. Perfect place for a quite holidays.

Review 14：Wonderful, genuine Greek hospitality. Good value, pleasant and comfortable room. We visited in the off season and were the only guests there but were made to feel super comfortable and warmly welcomed. The sign for Zorbas had actually been knocked down so we drove around lost for a few minutes but a quick phone call to our host brought them out in their car for a quick search party. We really cannot say enough wonderful things about staying at Zorbas. If you want to get off the beaten path and experience the real deal, go here! You won't regret it.
Review 15：Everything, Yorgos and Gina and their two kids were the epitome of Cretan hospitality, from their first 'Kalispera' to the delicious cuisine to the helpful advice about what to see and do to the last wave 'Yassas.' We wholeheartedly recommend you visit Zorbas, no matter where on the island you are, as you will be hard pressed to find a more warmhearted and genuine host or accommodation at a very fair price, with a natural beauty that's second to none to boot...
Review 16：there is really nowhere else to go in the evening on foot except for a walk alongside the coastline (this is not exaclty a bug - it even may be a feature :) )
Review 17：Friendly welcome with raki (+ another raki in the room). Family run appartements with restaurant. It seemed that only family members worked there (however it was off-season). We spent a nice evening with tasty meal and interesting talk with the son. Nicely decorated room with a bathroom, the frige and wifi + large terrace. Great value for money. Bonus: we got a goodbye present - 0.5l of home made extra virgin olive oil - and we stayed there only for one night. This level of generosity surprised us.

The family who runs Zorbas rooms and tavern continues to hold the traditional value of hospitality and shares with their guests a lot more than a b&b with local meals. You are among warm hearted, smiling people, who are enjoying everyday life! I now feel like I have a home to go back to, whenever travelling in the far south of Crete!
