Review 1：No WIFI. A car is mandatory, since there is no public bus. Winds are often blowing strong in this area, so try different pebbles beaches. We discovered in Hora Sfakia Ilingas's beach, where was no wind and no waves, 20 minutes by car.
Review 2：It is truly a wonderful accommodation, "feel like home" kind . There are big four villas, detached, enough space among them, for enough privacy. The villa consist in one bedroom and one large dinning room kitchen included. There are two sofa beds in the dinning room and one double bed in the bedroom. You have everything you need, like AC in both rooms, washing machine, dishwasher, sandwich maker, coffee maker, kitchen tools and so on. The view from the terrace is wonderful, overlooking the Libyan sea. The sandy and small pebbles Lakki beach is only 80 meters away, down the hill, suitable for children, with a small shower. Kioni villas owners have a nice taverna on the beach, with WIFI. Fresh and tasty food, very decent prices, we did not try breakfast. They also sell extra virgin home made olive oil. Very tasty. They speak English. Around the villas there is a garden, with few trees, a place for children, with cradles. We came by ferryboat, from Chania, 70 km long. Keep in mind is a difficult road, a lot of curves. There are few small markets near by in Frangokastello 4 km and in Hora Sfakia 16 km away. Also, from Hora Sfakia you can visit some rustic village, as Lutro , accessible only by ferryboat. Imbros Gorge is close by, 12 km away
