Review 13:Horrible bedrooms/ corridors
Review 14:Breakfast, location and staff
Review 15:Breakfast is slightly overrated. Lack of amenities.
Review 16:Friendly staff. Large rooms. Kid-friendly backyard with a pet rabbit!
Review 17:Central location with parking and within walking distance of all the sites , parks and river. A lovely town.
Review 18:Very good place to stay the staff are very friendly and a very good restaurant to go close by Alexandrie simple but home made food
Review 19:Lacked air conditioning
Review 20:Convenient, very friendly, relaxed
Review 21:Very well treated
Review 22:There was nothing I did not like but those who demand up to the minute furniture and fittings might prefer to look elsewhere - to me, the lack of these is what makes the place have charm and character.
Review 23:Good location in centre of town at a good price in a characterful, typically French 2* with a friendly and helpful staff. Garden rooms overlook a charming garden area with paving, trees and a fountain.
Review 24:No complaints
Review 25:Excellent overnight stopover on trip to Geneva. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Great location, adjacent secure parking. All in all great value. Booked again while at the hotel to make overnight stop on return journey.
Review 26:Our room and en suite shower room were large and comfortable and we had a relaxing stay. We were passing through on our way back to the ferry ports and this proved an excellent placce for a stopover.
Review 27:There were hair in the shower which stemmed not from me. Even after the second day, they were not cleaned away. When I arrived the heater was of and it was hard to discover where to activate.
Review 28:Lack of Wi-Fi reception in our room. Despite assurances it works in our room we had low level of reception and it frequently cut out, requiring us to go to the lobby to get any sort of reasonable level without fear of it dropping out. Not a convenient thing to do.
Review 29:reasonable price for situation and accomodation
Review 30:Only minor comments: The hallway looks a little tired, but the bedroom was much more recently decorated. The bathroom had a curious layout, by modern standards, but was very clean, if a little unfashionable.
Review 31:The hotel is in a very convenient location, with secure car parking a few yards away. It's a short walk down the hill from the main train station. We chose it as we wanted a cheap stopover on the way to the South of France. The staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived fairly late and needed somewhere to eat, so the receptionist recommended La Lutece restaurance, on the opposite side of the road, just a short walk down. This was a great value restaurant and we were relieved that it stayed open late. Our room was spacious and clean (we had room 6, a family room). It is featured on the website, It was quiet, with double-glazing and overlooked an attractive courtyard. The furnishings in the bedroom were new, although not the latest trend! We had plenty of clean, fluffy towels in our bathroom. Don't forget to take the main entrance keypad code with you when you go out, as reception shuts at 9pm.
Review 32:No air-conditioning which made it fairly warm for August, but not absolutely unbearable.
Review 33:The owners were so helpful and friendly. The family room was really spacious and at such a reasonable price. The location was really central.
Review 34:It's starting to need a make-over before it looks too shabby and not chic enough!
Review 35:A friendly welcome and assistance in getting settled in was greatfully received. The hotel has not bee nrefurbished for a while and is starting to look a little tired, but nothing was broken and cold beers in the courtyard were much appreciated after a long hot day!
Review 36:The homepage does not give any hints on where to park. The room's bathroom was old, with tiles shattered and an uneven floor. The room looks like it has been decorated for a picture: The decoration is nice, but the overall building fabric was mediocre.
Review 37:Nice location near the city center and parks. Pleasant private garden.
Review 38:A very friendly welcome. Quiet room towards the garden.
Review 39:It's cold in bathroom)
Review 40:Very friendly and responsive staff, thank you!
Review 41:I liked it because it was clean, quiet, ideally located and the staff were always welcoming. More like a 3star hotel than a 2 star hotel.
Review 42:Friendly staff, good breakfast, car parking, central location.
Review 43:no car-park, could do with a full revamp, very basic breakfast, dusty plastic flowers
Review 44:location, quiet rooms
Review 45:Small room and a bar of soap left in my shower from previous guest I would assume.
Review 46:Easy to find, cleanish and friendly staff. Good price.
