Reviews for Beacon Country House Hotel

Review 1:Nothing was bad about this hotel.

Review 2:My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in this family run hotel. It was a mixture of business and pleasure. The hotel is run by a lovely family who made us feel extremely welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The bedroom was of a very high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. There were loads of great places and beaches to visit nearby.

Review 3:the duvet was thicker than expected for the summer and for us the bed was a little too hard but that is a very personal thing and difficult to please everyone.

Review 4:excellent host made us very welcome. breakfast was very good and weren't rushed. lovely quiet location. very clean. sofas in the lounge were very comfortable and beautiful views.

Review 5:The genuine warmth and friendliness of the family running this beautifully-appointed Country House. They're proud of it - rightly so - and the welcome and hospitality shown to us could not have been better.

Review 6:Nothing was too much trouble for this family run business from the moment we arrived until we departed. Excellent breakfast and evening menu, rooms were clean and functional with big fluffy white towels, a small bar with good selection of local ales and ciders.

Review 7:catering seemed to be run on a shoestring, not a great deal of choice and evening meals had to be ordered by 2.00 p.m. which we were told was to keep costs down and main ingredients could be purchased.

Review 8:location staff cleanliness

Review 9:Lovely owners who take pride in having a wonderful hotel. Quiet and beautiful location far away from the summer crowds and yet close to all popular spots. Knowledgable and cheerful hosts mean that we would definitely stay here again. Even though we visited during the hot summer weather we could sleep with the bedroom windows open without any noise from traffic or Hungary seagulls.

Review 10:Wifi poor - too unreliable to be useful Radio on during breakfast disturbed the peace and quiet atmosphere

Review 11:Cleanliness of room Toiletries and towels Warm friendly welcome each morning Excellent quality of breakfasts

Review 12:There are no criticisms I could make whatsoever.

Review 13:Right from arrival we were made welcome in a truly Cornish manner. This is without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Nothing is too much trouble, and you are treated as a welcome guest ,even friend. Comfortable, spotlessly clean, and good food. We will without fail hope to return sometime. Well done keep it up.

Review 14:Nothing - except having to leave so soon.

Review 15:A great welcome from John the owner and his wife, they are born hoteliers.of the best kind. Spotlessly clean - could not fault it, great attention to detail Wonderful setting very peaceful and on the lane to a great beach cove ideal for watching the sun go down..
