Reviews for Logis Le Midland
Review 1:When entering the hotel, a fish smell came from the hotel's restaurant. Room smelled awful (humidity coming from the bathroom), a wild west saloon flip-flap door was separating the room from the bathroom, no wi-fi in the room, central entrance was locked when we returned at 23:00 and we had to call the owner to give us the pass code, after long time discussions with booking.com and the owner, the last one agreed not to charge our credit card for the rest of our programmed staying, and we spent there just one night. We were very lucky to find another accommodation through the very helpful staff of the "Office du Tourisme de Vichy"
Review 2:Good location at the centre of Vichy
Review 3:on confirmation of booking please send a map to access the parking. hotel is located I busy central part of town and knowing where to go would be very helpful, this is a minor criticism.

Review 16:Staff were delightful and helpful.
Review 17:We booked this for a special occasion and reserved a comfort double room. To our utter disappointment we got a tiny room with a tiny double which I would actually describe it as a big single. The size of the bed was 4ft which is only 122cms. I fell out of the bed during the night but thankfully did not hurt myself. My wife was extremely disappointed and thereafter nervous in case she fell out of the bed. I complained at reception but got the 'shrug of the shoulder' !
Review 18:Hotel position is indeed excellent as it the great value parking nearby for €5.
Review 19:The greeting, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, I only glanced at the menu outside the restaurant & I was abruply told "Termine" by the receptionist, honest . . . . . we never mentioned the War!!!!
Review 20:Well it's a bit of a struggle, the car park was very good & the Hotel could be fabulous, maybe it was 40 years ago. The staff at Breakfast saved our opinion of The Midland.
Review 21:Bathroom door!
Review 22:Traditional french town centre hotel Creaky floors and ridiculous western style bathroom door but fair size and excellent location. Pleasant dining experience.Town is fantastic!
Review 23:I was not too impressed with the 'saloon swing door" arrangement to theonsuite shower and toilet - it does not provide enough privacy in myview but it would not stop me using Le Midland again
Review 24:The breakfast was very good and set us up for the next stage of ourjourney - I also thought the adjacent secure car park was a plus at only5 euros for the night .
Review 25:The swinging 'saloon' door into our bathroom. About 12 inches open top and bottom, so impossible to block the light if using the toilet during the night.
Review 26:Very large and comfortable room at a modest price. Very good food in the Hotel restaurant.
Review 27:Saloon doors into the toilets are not a good solution in a hotel room (noise and smell).
Review 28:Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Easy to find. Nice entarnce.
Review 29:Centrally located in one of the many one way streets.Ensure you book acar parking space for hotel car park if you are driving as parkinggenerally seems a nightmare.Welcoming male receptionist who spokeexcellent English and room on 3rd floor of a good size. Whilstbathroom was well fitted out we did not like the saloon bar styleswing doors centrally placed and about 4ft high which did not meetwhen closed. Restaurant meal excellent although long wait for desert(40 mins) took the gloss off the evening. Buffet breakfast varied withexcellent choice.
Review 30:Smells food everywhere in the hotel (well, the reataurant is worth trying anyway)
Review 31:Excellent quality pay.Very clean room. Next to all the shops and really centered. Private parking across the street!
Review 32:The rooms our quite dated decor wise, but the room was plenty big enough as was the bed.Very creaky floor boards. The bathrooms are very small with ridiculous swing doors on them, giving you very little privacy!!
Review 33:helpful friendly staff, ideal position for shopping and visiting our friends in Vichy.
