Review 1：Avoid this place. It is old and in poor condition. The hallways are dirty, the lift's floor is ripped and the lift itself is dirty. No AC! The temperature was 40 degrees celsius inside the room and no Fan! Rooms are tiny as well.

Review 2：The staff. Very nice in difficult circumstances. The place was steaming hot and the facilities have no AC. The staff kept smiling though:) Thanks!

Review 3：The room was v small for four people and the bathroom tiles and ceiling were mouldy. Communal areas v tired. Mercure and Ibis are even more central but fully booked.

Review 5：Plug socket in shower room away from wall, wires exposed. Tiles in shower especially beneath soap dish well overdue a good clean. Filters in air con clogged and not working.

Review 11：The room was small and not cleaned properly. There were no tea and coffee facilities and had to keep asking for toilet paper which surely should of been done by housekeeping as when needed. There was no complimentary toiletries and not enough towels for the family. There were no TV channels to entertain a young family and had to rely on the laptop to watch programmes.

Review 14：The location was good, fortunately it wasn't too difficult to find a parking space right in front of the hotel. The rates represent very good value but the best thing about our stay was the receptionist, Roman. We have a little baby that needed some medical attention and he really went out of his way and did everything possible to help us, ocntacted taxis, night doctors and chemists that had already closed were in fact able to serve us thanksa to Roman. Much appreciated and not forgotten!

Review 15：Don't expect of space or luxury in the rooms. Shower/toilet could be better. But staff and location and price make it a fair place to stay. However I wouldn't stay here for more than one or two nights.

Review 18：Room too small - deceptive photos on website do not give impression of the size of the rooms which was very cramped, and there were very dirty and poorly decorated corridors. No in-room refreshment facilities. 2 children's beds didn't have any bed linen and had to ask the staff several times to provide bedding. Shower window opened into shower and there was not enough toilet paper.

Review 20：The 4 bed room was incredibly small, the hotel is not very clean and needs some restyling. 100E per night without breakfast for 12 squared meter of room seems to be too much for me. The sink is so small i can't even wash my hands in it.

Review 54：Pleasant hotel, recently modernised, well placed close to the centre, free parking. No restaurant but close enough to Vichy centre to walk - try the Grand Cafe de la Casino - very good value.

Review 55：We had a very serious problem on the second night in the hotel. Our room keycard was demagnetized, and the after hours phone number (there is nobody at the reception after 23:00) was not answering. Even the police were not able to help us. So we had to wander the streets of Vichy and eventually found a room in another hotel at 1 am. The next day the hotel staff were unable to (a) explain what had happened (4 other people had also been locked out) or (b) offer us any compensation. However, we subsequently contacted the owner (who is not located in Vichy), and he explained that there had been a problem with the phone that switches to the night attendant. He reimbursed us for the night in the other hotel, and has offered us a free night in the hotel as compensation if we return to Vichy before the end of 2012.

Review 56：Centrally located, easy access. The room was small (particularly the bathroom) but clean. The owner compensated us satisfactorily for a very serious problem we had with accessing our room (see below).

We had a rom next to main roadthe noise of traffic was constant all night, a small room with no aircon meant we were up and down all night, opening window for some air,then closing for the street noise. Ok for the price but only justacceptable, would choose a quieter hotel next time.

Review 70：The location was good and the car park a bonus as we could park the carand walk everywhere. Breakfast was better than other budget hotels.

Review 71：Easy car parking at rear of hotel. River l'Allier just a short walk round the corner from the hotel, leading to sandy beach and promenade walk with river views and many bars and restaurants. Vichy a lovely small city to stroll around on a warm summer evening. Vichy has a notable Opera house, and many green parks and places to wander. In all a beautiful place.

Review 72：We booked a family room, for 4 persons the room was a bit small but it was doable for the one night we were there.

The breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Everything in the town was within walking distance with many nice bars and restaurants along the river just behihnd the hotel.
