Reviews for Seeko'o Hôtel

Review 1:staff didn't take the initiative to tell us what to do in Bordeaux, the hotel was extremely smelly, the room was superficially clean. We had the impression we might get STDs just by sleeping in that room and air. We paid more per night than in most of the other stays in our trip yet this was the worst of all the hotels. Definitely not worth the score it has

Review 2:Good parking facilities in the neighbourhood, close to the tram that brings you to the center in no time

Review 3:There is no privacy for the shower, so more ideal for a couple to share a room than friends. The hammam is in dire need of fixing up, with cracked seats and unattractive rubber matting on top of a stained floor.

Review 4:The bed was quite uncomfortable as it was clearly inexpensive and needed replacing! Being very open plan was not good for us, thankfully there was a separate loo!

Review 5:The location was further out of the main town than we thought. There was tho a very good tran service right near the hotel.

Review 6:WiFi would not work in room.

Review 7:Excellent hotel. The only thing we could mark it down on would be the wifi. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location for restaurants and cafes. Easy travel to centre via very cheap modern tram system.

Review 8:Location is not great, it's a little rough compared to the centre of Bordeaux, but I believe they are investing money into the surrounding area with modern properties. This should improve the location. Breakfast is expensive and not great.

Review 9:Quite a fun hotel, modern, clean lines. The tram stops 5 mins away and takes you into the centre of Bordeaux. We love the centre. The bridge was amazing. The river beautiful. Great for hiring bikes just across the road from the hotel.

Review 10:Parking spaces a bit small for 4x4 cars

Review 11:Good hotel with in site parking. quiet and easy to find. Out of main town but easy access to town and restaurants. Good small restaurant next door

Review 12:Some minor defects in the room. Expensive breakfast.

Review 13:Good location, privat parking, 10 minutes by tram to the city center, easy to get inn and out of the city by car. Many good restaurantes and shops in the neightbourhood along Garonne river. Modern excellent arcitectur very nice beds.

Review 14:All three ladies that rotated at the front desk during our two-day stay had NO knowledge of local restaurants in town or anywhere. I'm learning about this "free WiFi" business. Reception was very intermittent and dodgy up on our 4th floor level. Hotel staff blame their telco's , but I strongly suspect they are not paying for sufficient bandwidth. We had three devices for example.

Review 15:Wonderful, modern, "out there" décor. Wonderful room and its facilities. Very central. Shopping & restaurant precinct across the road and trams outside to take one anywhere- better than driving & parking!

Review 16:room should be fitted with a workdesk

Review 17:design and location, and the french like to shower in a bath and this is the first hotel in France where you can do this properly!

Review 18:Nothing

Review 19:Everything nice staff, elegant room, very good resturants next door, enjoyed the stay, nice unique interiors and bath. Would love to stay again. Breakfast was also really good.

Review 20:service, asked to change room - reception never followed up, low dark ceiling, dusty blinds, breakfast overpriced 18 euros, massage chair+sauna open after 15:00.

Review 21:tram station near by, comfortable bedding, ceiling surprise!

Review 22:Beautiful, quirky and stylish hotel. Absolutely loved the room, the location, and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. A great hotel in a truly great city.

Review 23:One of the reasons I booked was that the hotel had a sauna suite, when we arrived we were told that this was out of order and that it 'might be fixed soon' the staff did not seem bothered and not offer any up date thus we had to ask but eventually left before it was fixed. Lighting in room was very dim. Our request for twin beds had not been accommodated so had to wait until housekeeping had rectified the matter.

Review 24:Products available

Review 25:room falling to pieces, had to change room as window would not close

Review 26:location near river

Review 27:Odour from loo by reception, corridors musty, a bit gloomy, heat too high did not feel clean

Review 28:Wonderful breakfast, funky room and design.

Review 29:Smell (air freshener?) near elevator 4th floor very intense - almost disturbing

Review 30:Location near quai, good walking option to city

Review 31:A bit far away

Review 32:Not keen on the restaurant

Review 33:The hotel is quirky and modern; very comfortable.

Review 34:Good location close to trams for easy access to centre of Bordeaux. Great cocktails!

Review 35:Quite a walk into city centre 40 mins

Review 36:nice hotel near front and bars. Tram stopped outside

Review 37:there was nothing we did not like

Review 38:the hotel was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful

Review 39:le hammam

Review 40:Poor wi-fi, rooms a bit dark...

Review 41:Nice staff.

Review 42:Reception area smelt of drains every time we were by the lift or going out.

Review 43:Easy access to the city centre and the staff were excellent.

Review 44:Nothing really

Review 45:Different decor to most hotels. Close the tram for the old town

Review 46:Corridors seemed shabby & uncleaned

Review 47:Decor Location

Review 48:No fresh orange juice , No kettle on no coffee machine in the bedroom

Review 49:The style of the hotel , the location , the bedroom

Review 50:Wifi and Breakfast

Review 51:Rooms, location and staff.

Review 52:Superbe, ríen a dire!

Review 53:Good value for the money!

Review 54:Great find ! Clean spacious friendly , best nights sleep in days!

Review 55:Door key didn't work first time, hammam was out of order.

Review 56:Furniture is great, sexy ambiance.

Review 57:Would stay every time in Bordeaux! The bath in the room was also not to be missed and the Barman was very helpful and spoke such good English.

Review 58:the location is nice but kind of far from the center and train station.

Review 59:the front desk staff is really friendly and helpful and have given a lot of information about the city tour, and the room is huge with big bath tub that you can take a nice hot bath after a long day's walk

Review 60:Shame the sauna & steam room is only available from 3pm and not open all day. Hotel bar is a bit pointless unless in a big group to give an atmosphere. Modern looking though.

Review 61:Hotel was very stylish. Room was excellent, very modern and a good size, lovely bathroom. Good location opposite the busy quayside. Easy access to the tram which takes only a few mins to get into town. Lots of car parking nearby if the small hotel car park is full. Would certainly book again.

Review 62:Not many facilities provided

Review 63:Staff we incredibly friendly from start to finish, even recommending a fantastic restaurant for the evening. Really enjoyed the stay.

Review 64:the smell on corridors..

Review 65:mainly the restaurant just outside th hotel... on the right side - it's perfect (Chez Olivier - I think the best in the town..)

Review 66:It doesn't speed down the time to enjoy more the place. Still expensive but worth it for a special event.

Review 67:Incredible design, adorable team, luxurious relaxation installations, just in front of new bridge over Garonne

Review 68:Rooms are on the wrong side of the building - city view suite lookedover the Bassins de flote, not Bordeaux city. Suites are on 5th floor, yet elevator only goes to 4th. Due to the funky design of the building,if you are in a suite, half the ceiling is at an angle, so you have tobend your head.

Review 69:Interesting looking place in a convenient part of town. One of thebest breakfast buffets I have seen in Europe (outside of a 5 starluxury hotel).

Review 70:at 200 bucks a night I dont expect to pay for breakfast. my non smoking room had been smoked in. cooulld have had more foreign language channels on the TV.

Review 71:modernity and cleanliness, nice bar Room service excellent. Young staff all good at their jobs.

Review 72:Our room could have done with a place to hang a wet towel to dry.

Review 73:We liked pretty much everything about this hotel: The staff werefriendly and helpful; the room was very funky, modern and clean; thefree Wifi was great; and the location in the newly rejuvenated quaysidedistrict we found to be excellent. The reviews which say this hotel istoo far from the centre were clearly written by lazy slobs -it is suchan easy and pleasant 20 minute walk to the centre along the riverside, that we did not even use the otherwise exceptionally convenient tram.

Review 74:Staff in bar/restaurant verry poor. More interested in the computorthan serving drinks or meals. Only 2 of us in the bar standing upwaiting for barman to finish his email.had to interrupt and ask to beserved some drinks.

Review 75:Lady in reception very professional on arrival.

Review 76:over rated cheap furnishings expensive parking expensive breakfast

Review 77:Old establishment. poor room conditions. Poor breakfast selection. Poor staff attitude. Understaffed.

Review 78:Location

Review 79:Too far from the old town centre

Review 80:Very friendly staff and Fabulous Room. Also excellent breakfast.

Review 81:Bedroom dusty and carpet stained. Room decoration not to my taste. Like a hostel for teenagers.Disco music could be heard on 2nd floor.

Review 82:Breakfast price, too high for what it gives.

Review 83:Location, Room comfort, Sauna.

Review 84:the price is somehow high.

Review 85:Breakfast, especially for the fresh juice.

Review 86:Pretentious and tasteless plastic hotel, really bad finish and cheap design. Bad air and humidity in the room.
