Reviews for Premier Inn Ashford - Eureka Park

Review 1:Bad experience when the meal deal voucher failed to print. Told to explain at restaurant and produce receipt. However the whole experience was embarrassing I should not have to sort your error.

Review 2:Not really a complaint but I found the continental breakfast disappointing. In my experience such a meal can include cold meat, cheeses and hard boiled eggs

Review 3:Most things, efficiency, welcoming staff, made to feel at home

Review 4:As I had a lot of luggage the second floor was not ideal but there was a lift.

Review 5:The price was attractive, the staff very helpful and the room was very comfortable.

Review 6:We booked two rooms asked for adjoining rooms but wasn't given them. On the next floor we could hear people running back and forth which disturbed us during the night and very early in the morning

Review 7:Location

Review 8:Towels put out for one person two mornings in a row despite it being obvious 2 people were staying in room. Kettle didn't switch off.

Review 9:Comfort of beds and cleanliness. Breakfast good value. Staff addressed minor complaints very well.

Review 10:We received a warm welcome by cheerful staff. We liked the flexibility of the check-in/check-out times as we arrived late and had to leave very early.

Review 11:Should have guessed that the adjoining Beefeater restaurant might not have many non-meat options. It didn't, although breakfast was good and met our needs.

Review 12:It had everything we needed. Comfortable room and bed.

Review 13:Only one tiny thing no single accomodation, would loved to have only paid for a single person.

Review 14:The courtesy of the staff as I am disabled I found that they were extremely helpful

Review 15:The bar manager in the attached Beefeater had a terrible attitude and really was in the wrong job. However, the French waitress was lovely.

Review 16:Ideal location for catching early morning ferry. Arrived late but still managed to get something to eat in the Beefeater restaurant. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Review 17:The bathroom smelt like it had been cleaned with dirty cloths damp and smelly. Bathroom very basic with a broken shower head which was covered in limescale. No shampoo or conditioner provided although room stated to include toiletries.

Review 18:Bed looked clean and comfortable.

Review 19:Flys in the room and the artificial LED lighting

Review 20:Pleasant and very helpful staff. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious. Bed as always was very comfortable.

Review 21:The cleanliness of the room especially carpet is major issue. I wonder did they really clean the carpet at all, I found some M&M on the carpet during first day move in.

Review 22:Fair price and relatively comfort.

Review 23:The bed was sooooo comfy. We are even going to buy one! Great staff, lots of places to eat close by. Good parking. Quiet in the rooms. We didn't have breakfast so can't rate it but guess it will be good. Would stay again pre channel crossing.

Review 24:When we booked in, the receptionist booked us in for the first nights meal, but forgot to book us the other two evening meals. So we had a long wait for the evening meal on the second day due to the beefeater being very busy, the lady that was serving us in the beefeater kindly booked us in for the last two nights. The bed was made on the second day with a bath towel left inside.

Review 25:Very near to Ashford town Centre and local facilities. Very quiet, Nice and clean. Meals were very nice.

Review 26:Subdued exterior lighting and signage made the hotel rather difficult to find at night.

Review 27:Good sized room. Easy access to Ashford International Station and motorway.

Review 28:Operation Stack closes the junction (9) that this hotel is off of. Diversion took us past the roundabout we needed but a long way round. Not a major concern but worth thinking about as op Stack often closes junction 8-11.

Review 29:Comfy room, helpful reception, location includes a number of different eateries and a cinema, handy stop over to catch an early chunnel or ferry.

Review 30:Nothing to not like.

Review 31:From the moment we were greeted by a very pleasant man on reception right through to our leaving the next morning, it was a very nice stay.

Review 32:Having to step into the bath to access the shower was difficult for my disabled husband.

Review 33:Very helpful staff and always available. Air conditioning appreciated during hot and humid weather.

Review 34:Thought the value for the money was not as it could have been. Mostly because during our 2 weeks in GB this was the most expensive night. This also included other Premier Inns that we stayed at in Edinburgh.

Review 35:Size of the room (Quad) is superior in comparison to most of its competitors in addition to the beds being of reasonable comfort as well. Appreciated the free Wifi and accessibility to the motorway as well as working A/C.

Review 36:I booked two double rooms and both only had towels for one and we pre booked & paid for breakfast and was presented with a bill while eating. Overall not very happy

Review 37:We didn't have one, and the room and bathroom, were spotless as always.

Review 38:The wife and I tend to always stop at a premier, because we always think the standard that much higher than some of your competition.

Review 39:room 201. noisy due to location opposite to lift and door banging. noticed grime underside toilet bowl rim. noticed grime underside of bath handle. stains on the carpet.

Review 40:friendly staff on reception spacious room good location to eurotunnel and places to eat / cinema large comfy bed a bath free car parking with ample spaces

Review 41:It's a good hotel for a step in a journey but not to stay in holiday (close to the motorway and nothing to do around)

Review 42:The proximity with the channel tunnel The room quite confortable The price which is reasonable

Review 43:45 minute wait for a room. Initially allocated a room with somebody else in it. Guy on reception tried his best, but computerised booking system had a glitch (due to room swapping?)

Review 44:good motorcycle parking in the front

Review 45:The noise from the road we were on the side of the road could not have the window open at night it was like sleeping on the M25

Review 46:Hotel was in a good postion

Review 47:Room was just too hot for a family of four. The air con didn't go low enough if it was making any difference at all which meant our two young children didn't sleep well.

Review 48:Always a good clean comfy room

Review 49:Beefeater next door wasnt poor but there is a Mcdonalds near by.

Review 50:Stayed here when we was going to Disneyland Paris. Perfect area for jumping on eurostar as it 10mins away. Didnt rate the beefeater next door, food was poor..

Review 51:Very clean, easy to find and although right by a main road, nothing could be heard in the room. Great to be next to a restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

Review 52:The lady at reception seemed quite defensive when we mentioned about checking in late and if it was ok as we had problems before, (we had problems a few years ago and ended up losing our room and had to sleep at a friends house) - apart from that the stay was good.

Review 53:The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Easy to park and easy to access from the m20. lots of food options in the local area

Review 54:No bad experiences

Review 55:On my arrival the staff where friendly professional , my room was very clean, the bathroom was also very clean the room was light and airy, overall excellent and not at all noisy from the outside.

Review 56:the room had a strange smell, maybe drains? in any case, not fresh. Service at breakfast was unbelievably slow BUT my boiled egg was perfectly cooked.

Review 57:helpful staff; proximity of restaurant

Review 58:The air conditioning unit in the room was a bit noisy.

Review 59:The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff enthusiastic, caring, and engaged. Excellent location.

Review 60:Rooms was a little cold and didn't seem to warm up as it does at other Premier Inn's. Was far from freezing though.

Review 61:Clean, tidy, modern hotel Good restaurant Easy car parking Happy staff

Review 62:TV remote erratic, picture kept darkening despite staff putting right once. Desk trimming damaged and hanging off, though staff did offer to repair. Did spoil first impression.

Review 63:Staff always helpful and friendly. Good location and room size. Despite odd things wrong this time we have not had any issues previously.

Review 64:Standard Premier Inn in very convenient position for the Motorway, Ashford and its environs. Left too early for breakfast and got in too late to try food next door.

Review 65:Expect WiFi provision in this day and age to be free and unlimited.

Review 66:What you expect from a Premier Inn. Rooms fine, staff friendly, location for tunnel great, breakfast good.

Review 67:Nothing.

Review 68:It is close to the Channel Tunnel, well run and very clean. Works for me, as this is the second time in 4 weeks we stayed here on 2 separate trips.

Review 69:Breakfast was very poor, raw bacon was served to us but was given a full refund when complained at the hotel.

Review 70:great hotel great beds great staff. Dinner in the beefeater was very good!

Review 71:Difficult to park near hotel Air con didn't work so room was quite hot so didn't sleep well

Review 72:Bed are big Room is spacious for a chain hotel Location was good as plenty of restaurants near by

Review 73:This doesn't apply here.

Review 74:I was extremely impressed by the way I was served when I called Booking.Com.The young lady (unfortunately can't remember her name)who looked after me was fantastic! There was an issue with my booking and she managed to resolve it without any fuss.Excellent customer service :-)

Review 75:Location of mirror for applying makeup Etc, behind coffee making facilities (Steamed up !) If the coffee facilities were 're fitted to opposition side of unit, it would make much more sense !!!

Review 76:The room was amazing, spacious and clean throughout, the bed was a dream come true, and the breakfast at beefeater next door was superb and very plentiful.

Review 77:Paying for wifi is annoying and unneccesary - if it had been a longer stay it would have been a reason to choose another hotel.

Review 78:It was the perfect location and we wanted a bed for a couple of nights when visiting relatives. It was ideal having the restaurant next door.

Review 79:Going next door to the Beefeater for breakfast was a slight inconvenience and the coffee was dire, though the food was fine.

Review 80:When we arrived, the booking had been recorded as a single occunpant in a family room so the room was not ready for all four of us to sleep in, but the staff were helpful and sorted it straight away. It's a good location for the tunnel. Plenty of places to eat nearby, and a cinema. The room was clean and comfortable but not very big. It was quiet and parking no problem.

Review 81:Breakfast took so long to get delivered after ordering that I went without. Waited 45 mins and gave in. Don't mind dieting but prefer it by choice!! Could be perfect - staffing just didn't reflect occupancy.

Review 82:Handy location. Decent parking. Hotel fine apart from breakfast.

Review 83:Room was a little on the small side for family of 4 but only an overnight stay so not significant

Review 84:Modern Beefeater restaurant next door, good food and rink, polite staff. Premier Inn staff efficient and helpful.

Review 85:It was very good value for money. We used it as a pit stop to catch the Eurostar the following morning. Excellent price, good location with all the restaurants within walking distance and very clean.

Review 86:As we're a mature couple and like plain cooking the eating outlets near-by were not to our liking only had Beefeater and not a lot of choice for us , but breakfast made up for it at the garden centre across the road

Review 87:Handy for what we needed, just off a busy road but no traffic noise

Review 88:This Hotel is super clean and tidy. Very handy stop on the way to or from Europe. Surrounded by chain restaurants, and even a cinema. Premier Inn are living up to their motto of a good night's sleep guaranteed. Excellent....

Review 89:No great negatives

Review 90:Nothing to say in a negative way really, stayed two nights everything was fine, good for takeaway food and restaurants within a couple of mins walk.

Review 91:Staff were really helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast at the Beefeater Nextdoor was excellent. We had 4 rooms in total and all were great. We are already booked to come back in December!

Review 92:Nothing

Review 93:The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms were exceptionally clean and beds really comfortable. First ever stay in Premier Inn and will def use again.

Review 94:A little noisy late evening when people returning to their rooms, doors seemed to bang, maybe invest in soft closing doors

Review 95:Staff very helpful, bed very comfortable, plenty of pillows, very convienient location, excellent free parking, with CCTV so safe too. Breakfast in Beefeater next door delicious, Dobbies opposite for lovely afternoon tea

Review 96:Waiting an hour and 10 minutes for breakfast to be served one day and being refused breakfast the following day (because we were 2 minutes late) even though we had paid. The service for food is really not acceptable in anyway. The couldn't keep up with the demand they had coming through the door. They ran out of one thing or another constantly. So if there were mugs out there was no milk for tea; if they'd just re-filled the bread there were no side plates out etc. Just constant waiting and staff who didn't seem to care all that much that you were waiting - it was the expected poor standard. Waiting 20 minutes to check-in after a 5 hour drive because whoever was on reception couldn't operate the system! No-one on reception the following day for the 3 times we walked past and wanted to change rooms. Very dissappointing and never experienced anything like it in a Premier Inn.

Review 97:Breakfast across the way

Review 98:Early checking and late check out on request. Nice clean and uncluttered room Staff friendly and helpful Pillows were great Good night sleep

Review 99:Totally out of the hotels control but myself and my friends were on separate floors and it seemed as though a fight broke out in one of the other rooms we both heard shouting and lots of banging and crashing... Not good at 5am, Also the noise level from the Staff 1st thing in the morning slamming trays outside people's rooms and shouting what sounded like instructions in Chinese across the hall

Review 100:Staff were friendly and welcoming room was very clean close to where we needed to be

Review 101:The lack of telephones in the rooms was problematic. Staff had to write messages received at the front desk and put them under the door of the guests' rooms.

Review 102:I liked almost everything. Staff very helpful. Hotel close to shopping and good restaurant. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Review 103:Seems expensive for what you get but Ashford generally is profiting from its position near the Chanel tunnel.

Review 104:Excellent location for crossing channel the next morning. Room adequate and beds very comfortable. No frills, but you get what you expect from a Premier Inn.

Review 105:Paid internet - unacceptable!!!! It's the only thing that would make me hesitate to stay at premier inns in the future

Review 106:Everything was great as always.

Review 107:Beds so hard, it would have been better sleeping in the car. But itappears, they are due a complete new bedding system over the nextfew weeks.

Review 108:It was a fair price for a hotel overnight for the euro tunnel. Goodlocation, very clean and modern, the staff were excellent.

Review 109:Poor parking facilities due to inconsider people taking up more than one car parking bay and causing others to well away from the hotel

Review 110:.Clean .Pleasant .Good location .Comfortable bed

Review 111:Check in times.... little late specially if u have an important event to attend. 2pm not good really

Review 112:Friendly staff..clean rooms...gorgeous powerful shower :)

Review 113:Our stay was on a Bank Holiday and it did feel that staff in all departments were under some pressure. The wait times at reception and restaurant were longer than we have experienced previously with Premier Inns.

Review 114:Modern construction provided quiet and comfortable rooms. Meals of a satisfactory standard.

Review 115:Going into breakfast at 9.30 some items were missing. There were no crumpets at all which was extremely disappointing as 3 of our group had chosen them from the advertising brochure in our room. Tables nearby were left uncleared for some time and the booths were uncomfortable and narrow seating. Don't think we'd bother with breakfast in future.

Review 116:Adequate choice

Review 117:the room smelt a bit musty/stale air. but after opening the window for a time it was OK.

Review 118:liked the on suite, and the the easy booking in.loved the food at the beefeater. staff were very helpful. we would stay again.

Review 119:No access to our room on returning in the evening. Process had not been followed through properly so that this did not happen.

Review 120:Excellent service from Kayleigh to resolve this situation.

Review 121:Cars outside a bit noisy at times, so maybe ask for a room away from thecar park if this bothers you.

Review 122:Breakfast was good, lots of choice and good service. Receptionstaff were very helpful and friendly too. Comfortable bed andclean bedroom/ bathroom. Very handly location for the motorwayor for Ashford international. Lots of restaurants to choose fromon eureka park!

Review 123:The air condition wasn't working and we was boiling hot at the night , after we have report the fault we have been assured that we will be refounded and someone will contact us in the next few days what have never happens . I have contacted costumer service after 2 weeks and again I was assured that someone will contacted us in next few days about it but again nothing have happens in this . So what I can say I would never recommend that hotel to my friends or anyone I know . Regards

Review 124:The hotel room was quite ok big and cofmortable also very clean

Review 125:nothing I didn't actually like but bed was slightly bit firm fo what im used to but this didn't put me off

Review 126:we had a meal next door so was great not having to walk far. Room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. overall we had a great time would definitely go there again and would recommend to others.

Review 127:Pressure to use Beefeater restaurant - no prior information of other outlets nearby. Breakfast very expensive. We had to ask for sufficient tea/milk in our room. Visitors staying for 3 nights (like us) should have two towels each as a matter of course. No telephone in rooms. TV rather high up for comfortable viewing.

Review 128:Convenient location for visiting relatives. We slept very well - comfy bed, air-con, thick curtains and good sound-proofing.

Review 129:- in a shopping area out of main town - although you can walk over the highway on a bridge to town - was okay for us

Review 130:- fantastic staff - great restaurant next door for dinner/ breakfast - clean & comfortable - everything we needed - quiet - lots of parking - I would recommend it to others

Review 131:Our door had a bit problem when we tried to get in and all the staff did was re-set our card which didn't solve our proble. we have to ask the help to get us in.

Review 132:The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. It has been the best prime inn I ever stayed.

Review 133:Close to the motorway perfect for the channel tunnel room clean comfortable bed and a good breakfast in the morning

Review 134:no hot water on first night

Review 135:refund of nights stay because of no hot water

Review 136:Air conditioning unit beeped all night. rubbish sleep

Review 137:The mattress was ok

Review 138:location for tunnel / ferry is excellent Beefeater next door offers very good meal deal
