Reviews for Highland Perthshire Lodges
Review 1:hmmmm ... yeah .... but rather than something gone wrong, it was more like a misunderstanding / mix up ..... something which the owner duly resolved, and lived happily ever after :)
Review 2:Everything ! The porch right on top of the small loch water's edge, the surrounding mountains, their reflections in the perfect still water, the "company" of some other (same design) lodges on the same water's edge, the deer right across on the nearby fields, the ducks swimming around. Magical ! And the interiors are stupendous and very well equipped. I already gave the link to some of my friends and relatives !
Review 3:Instructions for the TV and satellite equipment would have been helpful.
Review 4:The accommodation was first class, it was a real treat having en suite bathrooms with all the bedrooms, and having the bed linen and towels provided. The lodge was very clean and comfortable.
Review 5:There was nothing about our stay that we didn't like. It was 10 out of 10 for every aspect of the weekend, including the marvellous scenery and countryside all around.
Review 6:Very comfortable and spacious Lodge based in a quiet park with lots of birds and wildlife to admire. The Lodge was clean and had every utensil/item required to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable weekend. Comfortable beds and sparkling clean toilets/showers and bath.
Review 7:kitchen could have done with additional crockery and cutlery which would have reduced the number of times we used the dishwasher.
Review 8:Spacious lodge. Gorgeous location. View to die for. Went with family members including my 85 year old mother who loved it. Close enough to amenities. Wild life on lochan kept us all amused for hours.
Review 9:The absence of instruction manuals - coffee machine / microwave / oven / dishwasher / WiFi password. Crockery / cutlery sparse. A dedicated reading lamp would have been useful.
Review 10:The underfloor, thermostatically-controlled heating. No fuss. No pre-programming / switching. And included in the price. Excellent.
Review 11:The lodge was amazing and had everything we could have wanted and more. Staff were great help and got back quickly with any queries we had. Location was peaceful but not too far for good food and entertainment in Aberfeldy. Great for families plenty room and fantastic location.
Review 12:Small gripe that might be our operating problem. Heating hard to control but hot enough all the time if not to hot, which is good considering the winter weather we had...!!!
Review 13:The space of the lodge for 6 of us (4 adults 2 children) was great. Large showers plenty of hot water all en suit. Clean, great views, quiet. Well equipped modern facility's. We would certainly recommend this lodge and visit again.
Review 14:The heating system was a bit annoying...couldn't get it to set to a moderate temperature, was either a bit too cold or a bit to warm. Another minor complaint is the location...although a good distance from Aberfeldy in beautiful country surroundings, from photos I was led to believe it was located on a larger loch.
Review 15:Lodges had all the comforts of home. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, and showers were fantastics. While I had thought the lodges were located around a larger loch with better views, the location itself was a good distance away from Aberfeldy in the beautiful countryside.
Review 16:The peaceful environment, the deer in the hills. the ducks on the pond and the easy access to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry as well as a very comfortable cottage. All that was missing was a coffee maker but we made do with camp coffeeWe all loved it
Review 17:Mattress toppers would have meant there were no downsides, other than ensuring you have an expectation that you will be driving on some reasonably narrow roads on a regular basis. Remember the midge cream!
Review 18:Excellent lodge with plenty of space, supportive staff without intrusion - would definitely consider returning. Loved the location but you need to be willing to travel.
Review 19:There was nothing negative at all!
Review 20:A wonderful waterside lodge with beautiful views. Extremely clean with many new appliances. Freshly decorated. The lodge is spacious, light, and has all modern facilities, plus no fighting due to the many bathrooms! Perfectly situated for Pitlochry and Aberfeldy and a great base for our visits to Edinburgh and Loch Ness. We loved it and we will definitely return. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Review 42:Excellent challets with all modern facilities in an ideal location in countryside - frequent bunny visitors and deer in and around lakeside setting. Ideal for families and groups in serene view of forest and mountains.

Review 44:The hole thing it was delicius
Review 45:Would have liked wifi - misread that it was only "some" lodges that had it.
Review 46:The location was superb for a relaxing 'get away from it all' weekend break. The design and layout was fab, very cosy, roomy and spacious. The comfort of the lounge and bedroom was perfect and made us feel "right at home". They both had great lochan views as well and you could watch the deer over-by. Great showers. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely in fact. Good location for venturing along to Kenmore for a coffee and slice of cake at The Courtyard, a personal fave. Could easily have stayed longer!
