Reviews for Auberge d'Uzes
Review 1:Too hot in the room. No world news / TV. Untidy around the pool. Our room was very tired. Eighties!! This is the 2 nd time I have booked with booking .com and got a poor room.
Review 2:The food
Review 3:This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it lived up to our expectations. The pool was a welcome addition on a very warm day. We had dinner again and it was Very good and value for money. The owner is friendly. Would return again.
Review 4:Very unfriendly welcome 2 levels with bad stairs without any lift Bed-room very small under the roof Worst of the worst - bath-room - so small - shower - nearly impossible to go in - and impossible to move inside - Wc - so narrow too Diner - at 8.15 P.M. hopeless to get any diner - finally they accepted us - but with unfriendly faces (service as well as the lady of the kitchen) - No choice - only what remaining in the kitchen - and in spite of that no decrease of the prices (very high costly - indeed ) Therefore - we decided not to take our breakfasts - we went to an other small restaurant some miles away - where people were extremely friendly -
Review 5:Nice parking - that all
Review 6:The outside areas are a little tired and not quite as pretty as the photos. However the area we had drinks was very nice and the pool was very clean.
Review 7:The owner Dennis went out of his way to make us feel at home. The evening meals very superb. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Review 8:The position. We knew it was out of town but it was way out right on a very busy road with no where to even walk to. (Unless the Halibo place across the road). Carrying bags up 3 flights of stairs!
Review 9:The host and his wife were wonderful. Very helpful and told us about the 50%discount for the Du Pont Gard. We decided to eat in the restaurant and were so pleased we did. The food was amazing and we are not "foodies" but enjoy a nice meal. Menu is changed each day. Talking with the host we discovered he and his wife make all the bread, jams etc. Breakfast turned out to be just as special. Room was small but adequate. good shower though a tiny closet. Parking was easy.
Review 10:The rooms were more than adequate , mine was v spacious , The staff were so helpful and charming, food was really very good, breakfast was fab, we did not get time to use the pool but we did spend a pleasant time drinking coffee in the garden. Lovely. Very happy with our short stay

Review 13:Family run hotel Clean bedroom and pleasant dining area. Friendly and helpful staff. Central to Pont du Gard and Uzes market. Swimming pool an added bonus!
Review 14:Loved the little hotel. Best has been done to cope with the heat of summer. Pool a welcome relief in the afternoons. We were able to walk to and from Uzes on the bike / road pathway indicated near the Bon Bon factory. Explored Uzes, Laussan and ate some wonderful food. Loved our stay.
Review 15:Breakfast was expensive for what it was. Internet very patchy to non existent on top floor. Loads of steps, no lift.
Review 16:Free parking
Review 17:Our host gave us a very warm welcome. We enjoyed dinner inhouse which was very good. Altogether a good stepping stone to the lovely town of Uzes.
