Review 3：A super boutique style hotel! We received a lovely welcome from Danielle on arrival and were more than pleased with our choice of accommodation. Our twin bedroom was extremely comfortable, stylish, clean and light. The bathroom was huge, with separate shower and bath. Beautifully clean everywhere. Public areas, ie, lounge, dining room were also a pleasure to be in. Lovely breakfast, excellent service, warm and friendly owners - we would highly recommend this hotel. Well done Sycamore Gap.

Review 4：We had a wonderful stay and the staff were so friendly and helpful even though we couldn't arrive at the normal checking in time. Sorry we had only booked for one night but we plan to go back very soon.

Review 5：The breakfast was exceptional! The location perfect for visiting local pubs, sites and neighbouring towns. Can't wait to go back and take advantage of the new jacuzzi!

Review 11：The room was not en suite and this was not very clear on the Booking.com website. It would have cost a lot more to upgrade when I found out - and of course it was not as good value-for-money as I first thought.

Review 12：Very friendly. Owner recommended a restaurant,booked it and the taxi. Spotless accommodation. We shared a bathroom with one other room - but that was no hardship - the bathroom was very large with a bath and a very good shower.

Review 14：Welcome was very friendly, we felt very much at home. Everything is very new and spotless. Separate sitting room with all facilities on ground floor. Garden seat. Two rooms have a shared bathroom, but that is no problem at all. The bathroom is very big and has a very good shower and separate bath. Breakfast is excellent.

Review 15：Staff where lovely! Room was beautiful as was the whole building. We stayed in the deluxe room named Hadrian, we had our own little garden attached to the room and a en-suite. We were offered a cheese board upon our arrival and breakfast was gorgeous. Paid £10 pounds for late check out. Very happy and content with our stay, would definitely recommend or visit again.

Review 17：We particularly liked the very welcoming staff who couldn't do enough for us. The cheese and wine provided on our arrival was a lovely touch. The breakfast was plentiful and superbly cooked and the homemade rhubarb compote made from rhubarb grown in the garden was delicious! Our room was very comfortable, spotless and tastefully decorated with Laura Ashley fabrics and wall coverings. All in all, a most enjoyable stay.
