Review 9：Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The decor is nice and colourful and makes you feel happy! All the areas (bar, restaurant, room) are immaculately decorated and clean and pleasant to be in. Food is very tasty, there's a restaurant and also a bar with different menus, plenty of choice. Spa area is very nice, with a decent size swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam, sauna and ice mountain. Location is also great and max 30 min drive to the channel tunnel. I look forward to staying here again when I'm next in the area!

Review 10：Just one thing ruined everything good. The cleaning staff start cleanning at 7am and you can hear everything from the rooms next to you. So arrive to hotel at 1am was suppose to sleep till 9am and lost 2h of sleep.

Review 12：bed was a bit uncomfortable (slightly too firm)....have had worse...but have had better. Couldn't work out how to get the bath run at the right temperature....hot, hotter, or scalding seemed the choices...however, I'm sure if I'd bothered to ask it could have been explained

Review 13：everything I needed was available from a choice of dining to a leisure center and free wifi. Room was good size with all facilities you could need. Breakfast was expansive....I was being healthy so opted for poached eggs and a manx kipper with a bowl of fresh fruit to start....if you'd wanted it, there was a good full english avalable, eggs benedict, all the cereals, waffles and pancakes etc etc...you really couldn't ask for more

Review 29：Very helpful friendly staff both at reception (happy for me to check in early) and in the restaurant. Nice meal - mine was a bit cold but they took it back immediately and brought me a fresh one.

Review 39：Great overnight hotel and probably very good for longer stays. Décor lovely. Very relaxing atmosphere and staff were friendly and without exception very good. Internet was really good, responsively ! Food was very good ! Short journey to Eurostar station made it very convenient too.

The room service I ordered was 40 minutes late, cold and my 4 year old daughter could have put a sandwich together better than I received with was also cold for a toasted ham and cheese. The breakfast was cold and uneatable!! Lovely hotel but need to sort out their chefs as poor quality of food for a 4 start hotel!!!

Review 49：The room service meal we had was far below our expectations and the phone service for this was also less than ideal. The young man who answered the phone only said hello, no reference to what line I had got through to then I was told to hold on whole another cane to take the order. Then we got a call back as someone had forgotten part of the order. The food itself seemed a bit poor. The fried squid wasn't crispy and the duck rolls seemed over processed. All the food seemed as though it were from an after hours menu, reheated/microwaved etc. We were not very happy with this especially as it was only about 730 pm.

Review 81：Having visited this hotel several years ago we were disappointed in the change as the main areas were very bland. Offhand direction to the lift sent us with cases well out of our way. Several areas in room dusty, area around washbasin not clean on arrival, and not cleaned next day. Hand marks on wall outside bathroom, we washed off on second day. Glasses not clean and shelves dusty. Communal areas tired, flowers/plants would cheer it up.

Review 82：Well equipped and furnished room. Staff in the dining area at breakfast time were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Wifi good, and TV excellent. Spa and swimming pool not used, but nice that we could have accessed these.

He said that the food came up in small bowls, no I didn't, we had a plate if mushrooms to feed around 10 people!! Loads of chips too, quite expensive for nibbles but that's hotel prices for you!!

Review 109：This is a lovely hotel, the staff are very efficient and friendly! Me and my partner both had spa treatments which where nice and we used the gym and pool which where average. Breakfast was delicious! We also had lunch from the bar which was very yummy and couldn't stop drinking the Costa coffee! The room is quite basic but fine for a little break or overnight stay. Overall had a great time.

Review 112：The signage for the lifts from the lobby is non existent. The room was quite a walk from the lift (stayed on 2nd floor) and we were the 1st room you finally came to. Spa closes at 8 too, which was disappointing. The delivery of breakfast to our room was late.

Review 114：As hosts for the evening our company was supplying the accommodation for our clients - I was not happy to discover that despite us paying for all 5 rooms on our business card, the hotel had also charged our client £150 on his card for his room and that he now has to wait 10 days for it to be refunded to him - EVEN THOUGH we have already paid for his room! This is disgraceful - they also tried to charge another client, despite pre-authorising our card for £750 - £100 per room plus £50 for "extras".

Review 118：We were asked if we wanted papers and we said yes. The following day they wanted to charge us for them. I would have expected them to be complimentary at that price. Effectively we paid a London price for an outside of London hotel that is a little dated.

Review 121：The comfortable room with a good seating area and the very pleasant and helpful staff. It was very straightford to drive to Eurotunnel from the hotel after a good breakfast.

Review 122：Air conditioning in the room was hard to keep constant. The temperature in the room was a little cool. We had one bar meal but it was basic and drinks were a little expensive.

Review 126：We had mistakenly booked twice for the same accommodation and date. they were both non-refundable bookings. But in view of the fact that we regularly use the hotel and have done for many years when travelling to the continent, the manager was not prepared to refund us the one booking . Furthermore if it was not possible to have a refund or credit off our next booing, then when dining the restaurant that night, we would have thought that some form of allowance should have been made on either the food or the wine, or even a refund of the second booking's breakfast the next day! All the manager said was "Well you can eat two breakfasts if you like".

Review 127：Very good room, clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Did not partake in dinner however breakfast was first class, good choice and good produce. The hotel is in a convenient location and easy to find..

Review 128：Noise from the road, and the room next door with someone coughing! Breakfast was not of a good standard - did not even go to breakfast on the second morning. You had to wait a significant time to be showed to a table.

Review 132：The rooms start to look a bit dated: in our bedroom on of the chairs had a big black mark on (burn mark?) and in the bathroom some paint came off. A part of the hotel looks rather ran down (leading to rooms 366 etc). We chose the wrong weekend to come over as a lot of people came for their Christmas party so you could hear drunk people getting back to their rooms.

Review 133：The staff was polite and helpful. The room was big. Bed was comfortable (although a bit bouncy). Breakfast was excellent. The hall of the hotel looks really nice and modern.
