Review 2：Excellent location in the town centre, parking to the rear of the hotel (if available) or in an underground garage if you reserve and pay. Staff very helpful, good restaurant.

Review 3：Parking costs a fortune as the "free" parking on site holds very few cars and is always full. Secondly the "free" Internet is only free for 4 hours. Our room was large, but compared to other 4 star hotels there was little attention to design or decoration. Not one picture on the walls. Also, there was no tea or coffee or even an iron in the room. I will most likely stay in a different hotel next time as the tonic was a little too basic.

Review 4：Placed right in the cente of Biarritz close to the beach and restaurants.

Review 5：had booked several hotels for this trip in different locations. Wasn't sure if breakfast was included on this booking as had booked one night on one booking system and then 3 nights on a different system. Was told by both night porter on check in that breakfast was only included on the second 3 night stay.This was again stated by the receptionist in the morning.However when we went to check out on our final morning , we were told by the very same receptionist that breakfast was not included in our booking #! She denied also ever telling us that it was included! Not happy about this at all !

Review 6：Breakfast poor. Complained to manager who was very unhelpful and walked away during discussion. I went back again and she said we could leave and get refund. We stayed but wanted refund of breakfast not taken.

Review 8：Life was a bit slow and clunky, WiFi was inconsistent at times and needed to constantly sign in (both very minor dislikes).

Review 10：First impression of hotel is not good due to dingy tired-looking interior at entrance area and small Reception desk. Our room lacked adequate storage (there would have been plenty of room for a good wardrobe), but on request I was given a clothes rail and hangers which sufficed. Why do nearly all hotels provide only one suitcase stand when there are 2 occupants who have 2 suitcases?

Review 11：Central but quiet location. On site open air all day restaurant. Night porter very pleasant and helpful when we arrived v late and were hungry, apologising for the fact that nothing was available to eat in the hotel but directed us to late-opening restaurant not too far away, which after long delayed journey was very welcome.

Review 12：Managing staff and hotel owner were extremely rude and unprofessional. The air condition did not work properly. Worked ok during day time but our rooms had 25 C during night. It was the same in both our rooms. When complaining to the managing staff and owner he became very aggressive and the owner told me how much money he had spent on it. I said I didn’t care how much he had spent, it still didn’t work. He then yelled even more and went totally crazy. He called me a liar and threatened to call the police. A very unpleasant experience. The staff in the reception were nice and service minded.

Review 13：Poor initial welcome from reception and charged straight away for the room, lift to car park took 45minutes to come. Horrible, basic room with noises from street even on top floor! No love from staff for customers!

Review 16：The location was excellent. We stayed 5 nights in room 507. Staff were friendly, helpful, polite. Spoke English so did not have to struggle with my poor French. 2mins walk from Grand Plage. Shops, restaurants nearby. Loads of places to have coffee overlooking the sea and people watch.

Review 17：The hotel was clean and comfy but I think it's due a revamp after all it is in the middle of Biarritz. Curtains and carpets very old and worn and the outside furniture needed a coat of paint or preservative.

Review 18：Location was fab, easy walk into the town. Comfy Night Sleep and breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice.

Review 19：Breakfast was not so good, it was a busy hotel, holding functions etc, which resulted in tables not set, and run out of some of the foods. On one day there was only 1 member of staff who did her best, but from an experience, it was poor.

Review 27：From a 4star hotel we expected some assistance with our luggage. The smell of urine in the corridors was over powering, but was quite possibly mildew. The room smelt damp and the bathroom was a fungus farm. The mini bar was warm. The 5cl spirits were €7.40 yet the bar up the rise did cocktails for €4.50. The breakfast was a joke. If this hotel does not want to maintain a standard during winter it should shut.

Review 29：Male members of staff we encountered were surly, unhelpful and bordering rude. 30-something male on reception buzzed us into the car park on arrival then left us stood in the car park ringing the door bell for entry for 10 minutes, no apology. Seemed inconvenienced to be checking us in (9pm). We were told buffet breakfast until 11am. Came back from walk at 10.40, told by 20-something male attending breakfast to 'hurry up' and that 'he would be clearing everything away very soon'...result was rushed, half-unavailable, €15 per person breakfast.

Review 30：Large comfortable room and beds. High quality fixtures and fittings. Sumptuous bar/restaurant area. Right in the middle of town. Very reasonable price in the off-season when we stayed. Secure parking on site. One member of staff (mature lady) very friendly and helpful, on duty the morning of checkout.

Review 47：Location is a little off the main town center and a decent walk uphill to the main bar / tapas area around the fish market. Lift and corridors could do with a bit of a makeover. Wi-Fi in the room was a bit weak and clunky requiring a number of log ons which got slightly annoying. No sea views.

Review 48：The location is quite good for main beach access, friendly and helpful staff including the front desk. Very efficient air-con (which stayed on all the time even when we left the room). A rather late check out at around 1pm was ok, lady behind the desk just said "i wondered if you were staying another night".

Review 49：We were there in the middle of August, and booked it on the fly, it was the only hotel available. Staff was pretty helpful and the place is ok. As any other hotel in France breakfast is expensive, and the location is perfect if you look to stay close to the grand plage.

Review 52：The hotel has good location very close to the main beach in Biarritz. The problem is that I cannot recommend it for the beach turists because the beach is very crowded of surfers. The bathing between them is dangerous. The very little area of about 20 meters which is open for bathing during limitid hours is then awfully crowded of people. Please arrange (ask local authorities for doing that) more space fot swiming/bathing on the beach and also earlier than just from 10 AM. I want to swim/bath at the morning about 8 AM also (which was the reason for choosing this hotel) and there was lots of surfers everywhere and no space at all for swiming/bathing on the beach.

Review 55：The room was tiny, furniture old and scratched up, set up of the room is uncomfortable-if you open the heavy curtain for sun light then there is no privacy, shower old with mold on the ceiling. Certain staff is unprofessional.

Review 66：The Hotel Restaurant was better than most others in Biarritz and was better value for money, food was first class and service very good with English speaking staff. Rooms were light and airy ask for one at the back of the Hotel as there is no traffic noise. The location is only 200 metres from the beach. Free parking in limited ground floor parking but we opted for 100% secure parking in the underground car park at extra cost as we were touring and left a lot of gear in the car. We would stay there again without a doubt.
