Review 7:Wish we could have stayed longer as everything about Tigh Na Leigh is wonderful. Food is restsurant quality made from fresh local produce and the accomodation would rival any 5 star hotel. Chris and Bettina are the most amazing people who welcomed us with their generosity of spirit. I highly recommend staying for more than one night !!

Review 9:The hospitality, food, room (huge 4 -poster double bed, spa bath, wonderful decor and furniture). Hospitality of hosts, wonderful garden, breakfast (wonderful choice) and evening meals. Bettina was the excellent and helpful host whilst Chris was a wonderful cook.

Review 11:The owners are genuinely interested in your comfort during your stay and the reasons why you're visiting Alyth. This is only to ensure they provide you with enough information and recommendations, if required, to get the best from your visit.
Review 12:During our two night stay we enjoyed great comfort and beautifully prepared and superbly cooked food. The staff/owners could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Our dog loved it too! Can't wait to return!

Review 14:Relaxed,warm and very hospitable welcome from Bettina despite our late arrival;wonderfully helpful suggestions about things to do in the area; fantastically comfortable bed in a quiet bedroom; brilliant jacuzzi bath (great after long walk); and absolutely delicious food cooked by Chris. Altogether a six star experience.
Review 15:The food ambitious but not perfect.
Review 16:Perfect very small family owned hotel. Refurbished to perfection with German effeciency mixed with Scottish/English style living. Rooms large and comfortable with VERY nice bathrooms. Beds perfect. The garden is a gem! You ask Bettina for a GT and she has a choice of gins, some very exotic.
Review 17:Wifi reception was a bit ropey in my room but worked elsewhere in the hotel fine.
Review 18:Really comfy bed, clean bathroom with powerful shower & jacuzzi. One of the best B&B breakfasts I've had in a very long time, with a choice of a range of hot dishes freshly cooked to order and lots of fruit, muesli, cereal etc.
Review 19:There is absolutely nothing to dislike.
Review 20:Chris and Bettina are wonderful hosts and do everything they can to make the stay comfortable and memorable. The whole place is in tip top condition, the gardens are a real delight and Chris's cooking is quite exceptional. They went to a great deal of trouble to make sure that my dietary requirements were met. This is the second time that we have stayed with Chris and Bettina and we have already booked for next year. Staying with them is a first class experience.
Review 21:Can't think of a thing.

Review 40:The facilities and the food and helpful staff
Review 41:The wi-fi wasn't very reliable in room 5 but this would not put me off staying again. I actually forgot that their is a laptop set up in office for guests to use.
Review 42:Chris and Bettina are 1st class hosts. I'm not surprised they have a dozen awards on display as recognition of their ability to make you feel special and nothing is a problem to them. The whole place is immaculate, Chris's cooking is excellent and the outlook from the conservatory to the rear gardens are beautiful. I found the bed to be extremely comfortable and would not hesitate in staying here again.
Review 43:The room was very comfortable with lots of little extra touches - such as a wee basket of choccy eggs and bunnies for Easter! Such fun! Altogether a beautiful and very welcoming house!
Review 44:When I arrived it was 6:00pm, freezing cold and raining. The front door was locked and it took a few minutes for someone to come to the door. The man who eventually opened the door didn't invite me inside and when I told him I had made a reservation a few hours ago he said "No you didn't". I was a bit taken aback so I explained how I had booked online. Again he quite risky stated "No you didn't." I don't like being called a liar any more than the next person and the fact that he kept me standing in the rain while doing so was infuriating that five days after I left it still bothers me.
Review 45:The house is beautiful and the single room I stayed in was immaculate, a good size and very comfortable.
Review 46:Really friendly staff and the food was excellent!Room was very impressive and overall I really enjoyed my stay. P.s The Canadian is the best breakfast
