Review 1：Food was brilliant. Staff very helpful, they knew I was up and gone too early for work to get breakfast so they left me sandwiches and a bottle of water to go.
Review 2：very friendly, secluded parking away from road. off a busy high st but a tranquil little garden we stayed in the 'stable rooms' couldn't have been quieter!!!

Review 6：The owners were very friendly, but not overly so. Wasn't interested doing the whole 'Three in a Bed' inspection for dust, cobwebs, mattress stains or pubic hairs! it looked clean and smelt clean, especially the pillows.

Review 9：Everything. The building is stunning and very peaceful. I felt very safe and welcome. The breakfast was great and the hotel is located on a very handy bus route. My friend called in to see me and, was so impressed, has decided to stay there one weekend, even though she only lives 10 minutes down the road. I loved my time here

Review 18：In short I liked everything; I was made welcome when I arrived, shown to my room, told that I could have a meal there if I wanted, (I did) and it felt like home from home. I really am so secretive of this lovely building because I want to go back ( I will very shortly). This is a gem - for as long as my contract lasts, I will want to stay here.
Review 19：There were few walkable options for eating in the evening at the weekend none that provided anything comparable to the breakfast, though the hot weather probably cramped our appetite for walking or driving far.
Review 20：The room was huge plenty of space for the pair of us to spread out. Even in the midst of the hot spell in July the stone walls meant the room was cool and comfortable to sleep in. The breakfast was excellent as was the friendliness of the proprietors.

Review 74：We were welcomed at the door by the owner who showed us to our room which was fine but a little dark due to there only being two small windows which were in keeping with the age of the property. However it had everything one needed for a one night stay. The owner told us where to go for a drink and something to eat, which was perfectly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was excellent with good choice of dishes. All in all a very good place to stay at a reasonable cost and we would happily recommend it.
Review 75：The road splits into two, two one way streets, my sat av couldn't figure this out so took me over an hour to finally find it. no other issues at all.
Review 76：as a single female traveller, the lady took the time to call to see where I was as I had trouble finding the hotel. very friendly and quiet, just what's needs after a long day. food was fine but not a lot of choice, god nights sleep and felt very safe. Would definitely recommend for the business traveller. PS great breakfast and proper yorkshire tea!!!!
Review 77：Parking was a bit tight, cannot think of anything else at all. I read that dogs would be accepted, and may have liked to make use of this another time (as I'll definitely be returning) but this is not offered and has never been by the current owners.
Review 78：I loved the furnishings and the age and appearance of the house. The bed was comfy, the TV a really good size. It felt 'special' and the breakfast was lovely. The price for my daughter and I to share a room was really good too.
Review 79：Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Decor is old and dated. At floor level the room was very dusty. No soundproofing between floors, we could clearly hear the conversation below us in the dining room.

Mattress was too firm for my liking, back ache I don't usually suffer from woke me several times during the night and the tv certainly requires updating as the picture quality was poor.
