Review 3:Very friendly staff. Beautiful room and facilities. The location of motel is excellent. Check in by 12.00 was fantastic for us. Delicious breakfast and evening meal.
Review 4:There was no spoons in the room for tea and coffee. The water pressure in the shower was poor.

Review 8:The staff were very pleasant and helpful, the accommodation clean, comfortable and warm. A good choice of nicely cooked meals, including vegetarian, the motel decor was very fresh and attractive, and the breakfasts were excellent.
Review 9:Nothing bad to say at all
Review 10:Beautifully decorated and very clean. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts freshly cooked. Second time we have stayed here.
Review 11:The bed could have been a little firmer, but that is a general complaint about almost every English b&b I have stayed at :)
Review 12:Perfect location for the village hall, very friendly and helpful staff & owner. Kind enough to let us check out late too! Great value tasty breakfast
Review 13:The room was too cold - no heating on when we arrived and the thermostat said 11 degrees. Shower wasn't very powerful and we booked a king size bed but it didn't seem that big.
Review 14:Nice decor - modern! Bathroom was quite big.
Review 15:nothing really
Review 16:Staff very friendly and helpful, couldn't have asked for more! Bed and pillows nice and comfy, room was warm. Could've done with another mirror somewhere but otherwise great.
Review 17:Shower was disappointing but I've never yet had a showed in Suffolk with power so no detriment to the hotel at all!!
Review 18:The new owners/staff were all so lovely and friendly, Room was very spacious, clean and had all we needed, great value for money. Bar was lovely and relaxing. Our daughter Olivia (age 7) talked everyone's ears off and can't wait to go back...and neither can we! They were all really patient and chatted away making her feel really important. We love this part of Suffolk and have now found the perfect get away retreat :-)

Review 22:Better choice than the usual chain options for similar money. Nice atmosphere. Whole place obviously fairly recently updated and nicely done. Well maintained too. Food was good pub grub at a good price, just what I needed.
Review 23:Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and huge (lost the Mrs for short while - bonus), staff were friendly, food was great and breakfast cooked to order.
Review 24:I would have liked fresh fruit (bananas) at breakfast and yoghurts as I am trying to stick to a low fat regime but I have to say that the full English on offer on the Sunday morning was very much enjoyed and appreciated by my mother
Review 25:I have never slept in a more comfortable bed - including my own! Staff very friendly helpful and approachable. Rooms decorating in modern colours and style.
Review 26:On the Thursday night outside garden speakers were pumping music until 11pm wasn't best pleased. Cobwebs and dusty surfaces suggests rooms not cleaned as well as could be.
Review 27:Nice little self contained rooms, despite being in the pubs garden it was quiet most of the time. staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent value for money. Having pub next door was great for evening meals. Location was close to beccles and ideal for my needs.
Review 28:Staff need to be more available at breakfast. Couldn't find anyone to replenish glasses, orange juice or coffee.
Review 29:Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, beautifully cooked and good variety.
Review 30:Whole family getting bitten by suspected bed bugs and catching infection from bite resulting in antibiotics. And bed was held together with wooden decking. Poor staff/management communication, No kids menu. Over priced food.

Review 32:The rooms were nice and clean. The tea and coffee making facilities were a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent. The pub was nice. Location was good, short drive to Beccles. Staff were friendly.

Review 37:The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful (we arrived befor check in and were given a room to change into our wedding outfits). The breakfast was lovely and we were not hurried off the premises once we'd checked out.
Review 38:Said 4 stars but didn't even have soap in the bathroom! Nothing else about it made it feel 4 star either. The word Motel should have been a giveaway!
Review 39:Not a lot
Review 40:Would have liked some fruit for breakfast. Just a minor point though.
Review 41:Beautiful bed linen and extremely comfortable beds. Good location. Despite a wedding disco going on the rooms are a sufficient distance away that we couldn't hear the music.

Review 45:Good, clean and comfortable but really nice staff who made us feel very welcome. Well definitely be back - fab location too! Thank you
Review 46:Thin walls so neighbours coming in at 3:30 am woke us. Looked out of our bedroom at kitchen extractor and broken glass in window pane of main building opposite. Weeds growing up through block paving and broken wine glass on bbq made it look uncared for.
Review 47:Recently refurbished bathroom. Convenient location. Clean but small room.
Review 48:The disappointing aspect of our stay, was that rain cancelled the local bootfair!! There was not one thing that we didn't enjoy.
Review 49:The picturesc settings, the smell of freshness in the (chalet?) the bedding, my fiancé and her son have insisted that we return very soon! The "rooms" ,more like holiday chalets are absolutely wonderful. Live music every Sunday afternoon, idyllic gardens, pleasant staff and owner/manager Christine, was the best of host's. After checking out we even stayed for dinner, in what can only be described as, The Carvery of Suffolk/Norfolk area!! 10 out of 10 for everything. Cannot recommend a better hotel/motel in our experiences with booking.com!
