Reviews for Chambres d'hôtes la Framboisine

Review 1:Well located -10 to 15 minute walk to town centre. Very quiet location. Beautiful bourgeois house of great character. Very charming and attentive hostess.

Review 2:nothing really

Review 3:Although our French is limited we were able to converse with our very kind hostess. Location is perfect a short walk to this charming city. Breakfast was good.We were allowed to park our car inside the gate which was good because we had a very full car on our way to Spain.

Review 4:Nothing

Review 5:Very comfortable and very well kept property the French lady looks after you on her own and speaks very little English we arrived early but she made us very welcome and let us park theories bike in her garden I can highly recommend this small hotel the room was gorgeous

Review 6:Only problem for us was unable to connect to the wifi, seems to be a problem for Apple apparently.

Review 7:Lovely old house full of character with spacious, comfortable rooms, secure parking and garden. Welcoming host with plenty of local info. Approx 15 min walk into the old part of town.

Review 8:No handsome or other toiletries, lucky we travel always ell prepared. Location far from Center.

Review 9:Charming host. Private parking. Well heated, shower good pressure. Comfortable bed. Good for winter stay.

Review 10:Sound proofing between the rooms, slightly out of the center

Review 11:Very kind landlady, lovely old house with nice wooden floors, secure parking in the frontyard, nice breakfast

Review 12:CASH ONLY, not specified. Old house with no charm. Neighborhood suitable for a campy Halloween movie. Many bugs on the ceiling. Not very convenient to town center. Minimal breakfast. Very high price for value received.

Review 13:Wifi

Review 14:Location is a bit tricky to find due to the one way street system in the area, but other than that it's in a great location.

Review 15:An excellent Chambres d'hôtes, with authentic French furniture and feel. The home made jams served at breakfast were simply delish !! Great location and very near to the centre of town.

Review 16:This was a small B&B located very close to the centre of Troyes. About a 10 minute walk. It is located in a quiet residential area, and we were able to park our car securely in the garden. The room was large and comfortable, and breakfast was a traditional French one. Croissants, bread, juice and coffee. There was a good choice of restaurants within a short walking distance. Should we visit Troyes again then we would be happy to stay in this accommodation again. One point to note is that the owner of this B&B does not speak english. So if you do not speak french, then it could be problematical.

Review 17:Creaky floorboards! Limited choice at breakfast for someone who does not like yoghurt or hot drinks! Sometimes the hostesses high level of attentiveness to her guests could make you feel you were being watched, even though this is clearly not her intention.

Review 18:Warmed croissants for breakfast. Immaculately clean house in a quiet residential area, with a hostess who has an eye for detail and is very helpful. Only a 10 minute short walk into the centre of Troyes, an amazing city which is well worth the walk.

Review 19:Having to pay cash but this was a small point and we soon replenished the cash from a machine in town.

Review 20:It was quiet and clean and the welcome was warm. It was just the right distance from the city centre. No English was spoken and so you had to speak french.

Review 21:A wonderful typically French home. All the floors in the house were highly polished oak. A lovely bedroom with shutters on the windows with views of the garden. A very nice French lady owner who didn't speak any English but not a problem for us. A very nice simple continental breakfast.

Review 22:Traditional room with double aspect window so light and airy, overlooking garden with fig tree. Quiet residential street. Very simple continental breakfast. Attentive host. Only 10 minute walk into centre.

Review 23:Just the weather!

Review 24:The welcome that we were given despite a mix up with our booking. The owner was kind and considerate, resolving any issues. The home was built by her grandparents and has so much charm and warmth-which was reflected how she treated her guests

Review 54:Lovely traditional French room and very helpful owner. Nice breakfast and a 15 minute walk into town. Parking was available in the grounds.

Review 55:Our hostess; our room; the common rooms (dining room and sitting room); the location (a lovely walk to the old part of town)...... My brother & I enjoyed a two night stay and really appreciated our wonderful hostess who helped us choose a wonderful restaurant and shared local knowledge with us. A wonderful experience!
