Reviews for The Llinegar Inn

Review 1:Room very cold on arrival and radiator in shower room never worked, though I did ask. Noisy from people moving around upstairs so more soundproofing required

Review 2:Very clean, decoration and furniture all relatively new, food was good.

Review 3:The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. Friendly, personalised service. Thoroughly impressed. Lovely attention to detail in room and general customer care.

Review 4:Wifi was very poor in the bedrooms . The noise of the traffic in room 4 was very bad the bedroom window was next to a very busy road and traffic lights .

Review 5:the staff were very welcoming .

Review 6:Only a small thing wi fi signal was weak and couldn't connect to it

Review 7:Warm welcome from staff who couldn't do enough for you. Cleanliness great accommodation and great food

Review 8:The room was too warm could do with air con also you could hear the people above walking around and talking. The breakfast was lovely however we were offered toast which came when we had nearly eaten the breakfast I asked for marmalade I was told they had none so asked for jam they had none of that either

Review 9:Everything was excellent apart from a couple of things

Review 10:Being in the eaves. My husband and I are quite tall, so dodging the beams was a must, especially once I'd put my shoes on.

Review 11:The location, style of property, overall look and feel of the place. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Graham. Bea

Review 12:Nothing as your hotel was just fabulous.

Review 13:A beautiful hotel to stay across away from the sea staff very willing and pleasant .We have stayed in two different rooms .which were beautiful and cosy .food is top class .We just love this quaint hotel .

Review 14:The village where it's situated isn't up to much.

Review 15:Very helpful and efficient staff. Rooms very comfortable and with excellent facilities. Quiet.

Review 16:Cobweb in bedside light. Expensive for B & B. Single room very small but adequate for one night.

Review 17:Friendly staff. Good food. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Allowed me to park my motorcycle in a secure area, and provided a towel to dry the seat in the morning after the rain.

Review 18:The Superior room we were in did not have ventilation, no opening window or vent/AC which made the room a bit stuffy. In the height of summer this might have been a bit too much. Other than this it is a place worth staying.

Review 19:The room was rather small for two people and lacked privacy due to looking out on the courtyard on ground level.

Review 20:A very friendly chef who served excellent English (Welsh!) breakfasts! Very well cleaned, fresh smelling linen and towels. Good WiFi.

Review 21:All the staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble, food fantastic, well done Graham. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Review 22:-Single room is tiny -Rooms are quite noisy, so you will hear the doors closing in the room beside you and if they talk loud it will carry through as well -minimal cold choice for breakfast

Review 23:-Evening meal at the restaurant were good value for money -Rooms are well maintained and look nice -The hotel has a nice atmosphere

Review 24:The bathroom was very small, no bath and the shower cubicle was small. Some biscuits on the welcome tray would have been an added bonus!

Review 25:The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us. The food was delicious and all freshly cooked. The room was spotlessly clean.

Review 26:Limited choice of cold breakfast items

Review 27:Excellent location, friendly staff, lovely clean and warm room. Freshly cooked breakfast. Looking forward to staying again

Review 28:Nothing to dislike during our stay.

Review 29:A one night stay where nothing could be faulted. From a friendly welcome, comfortable and very clean accommodation and a lovely breakfast, All the staff we met where so friendly and helpful. Would recommend The Llinegar Inn to family and friends.

Review 30:The staff were very attentive and looked after us extremely well. The hotel was spotless and food was delicious. Couldnt have had a better weekend, highly recommended.

Review 31:Sunday breakfast wasn't quite what we asked for, white bread for toast when we ordered brown, mushrooms fried egg and bacon ordered, fried egg, sausages and bacon came, however it was very good food and we did ask for it to be changed.

Review 32:Quite location Comfortable, cosy and clean room. Friendly staff and excellent wholesome food.

Review 33:Nothing to dislike. Any problems we had were rectified immediately. Excellent customer service.

Review 34:The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room for 3 nights. 2 adults and a 4 and 7 year old. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. It had a small kitchen on the first floor and a bedroom with a sofa bed.The lock on the 1st floor bedroom in our family room was broken, we reported this and they got someone to fix it straight away. The room was also very hot and they provided us with fans to cool the room down. Nothing was too much trouble. On the ground floor there was a double bed and a bathroom which was very clean. Fresh towels and tea/coffee was provided each day. We only ate in the evening on the first night. The food was good. The breakfast selection in the morning is very good, cereals, fruit, yogurts and a cooked breakfast. The bar is only open for breakfast till around 9.30am and then it is closed untill 5pm. We were out all day everyday anyway so this was not a problem. Rooms are accessed through the courtyard where there are tables and chairs to sit outside, this means you can come and go as you please. Only 10 minutes from the beach in the car and about 20 mins to Ryhl. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Review 39:Local area, food and bar facilities. All staff were very efficient and friendly.

Review 40:Advertised as a restaurant /inn but no food at all in the evening, not even a sandwich. Claimed they were fully booked but it didn't look like that (not even bar snacks available). Poor after hard days walking. Breakfast okay if a little greasy

Review 44:There wasn't anything I didn't like! We only stayed for a night and it was great for our needs! Not sure how we'll located it was if you're there for a longer period! We had a great stay and will be returning next year for same event!

Review 45:The staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was lovely! Evening meal was great! They made us feel welcome and catered to our needs. Our son is four and can use adult cutlery well but here they provided child friendly utensils! For younger guests this is great and often overlooked (hence why our son capable of using adult cutlery)! Family Room was fabulous with a upstairs and small kitchenette!
