Review 1：the interior of the hotel (rooms) is a little 'tired' - this is not great as the staff are really good and if the hotel was a little more modern in terms of decoration and facilities it would be a fantastic experience all round

Review 11：Staff were very friendly - we were there as spectators of Davis Cup final, and thought they were great with a large group of (at times very drunk and hilarious) Swiss fans. Directly opposite a metro station, about 25mins from Lille city centre on tram. Good bar and decent enough rooms.

Plastic toilet seat wonky, poor finishes in bathroom andeverywhere made me feel I was in bedsit land! Too many unwiped door andwindow frames with black fingerprints. Jeez housekeeping! Open youreyes! While there are interesting things to see in and around this areaand the Mercure metro is opposite the hotel, I did not feel safe here asa female returning late at night 11/11.30pm. I wish I could be morepositive about this place as the staff really were nice, just theComfort Hotel chain need to invest a lot in the Lille L'Union tomake the rooms less shabby- if the other rooms were anything like mine.Ps - remove the torn flag on the flagpole behind the hotel- it adds tothe rundown feel. Not a hotel to use if you want quick access to thecentre of Lille, but I chose because of friends in area.

Heater in room didn't really heat the room up on a cold night. Area appeared a bit run down with graffiti. Very noisy doors banging during the night. Had to pay for dog, but no indication in advance of how much this was going to cost. Chair at desk was too low for the desk.

Review 35：There was no toilet paper in the toilet. There was no shampoo to take shower. Instead they put some hand-washing gel for me as shampoo to use it.
Review 36：Cleanliness Friendly staff On the website there was no way to book the room without master card. I wanted to come and pay and the website was asking for a master-card number and without that it was not going on. Please change it and make it easier to book without a master card or visa card number so when those who want to come and join without cards can also book rooms in your hotel.
