Reviews for Pallas Pension
Review 1:Right on the beach front. Glad we requested a sea view. Owner was lovely. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and amazing. Great coffee. Sami beach a short drive around the island is fantastic (€8 for 2 beds & 1 brolly). Ate at Bounas restaurant on the beachfront. Starters were amazing, mains a bit disappointing (too much pasta, not much lobster!) Would recommend just having lots of mixed starters for a much tastier, cheaper meal.
Review 2:Charming sense of aesthetics with attention to detail. Conveys cozy atmosphere and offers comfort and relaxation. Immaculately clean rooms, very comfortable mattress and pillows. Hosts have their heart in running it and truly care about offering hospitality in the traditional Greek manner as friends to strangers. Scrumptious breakfast includes fresh bread and excellent honey and jams made by hosts. Need I say more?
Review 3:I used tree evenings catching a fish in the harbour, but did not catch one, next time I bring stronger line and smaller blink (e.g. Abu Garcia Toby BGL 7 gr).
Review 4:Location on the main boulevard Breakfast in the room with home made jam Lots of restaurants close by Real holiday feeling Kirsti is very friendly Clean and very good rooms
Review 5:We were unable to get the wifi to work, but that did not really matter.
Review 6:Kristi was most friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so big that we could not eat it all, so she kindly wrapped it for us to take away. Everything was immaculate.
Review 7:Top quality bedlinen in tranquil room with harbour view. Good bathroom. Made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble - a lot of help with a slightly tricky booking for onward travel. Outstanding breakfast full of really delicious home made foods presented very nicely. Kristi is the most charming of hostesses. Excellent position in the middle of a smashing harbour full of caiques.
Review 8:Gorgeous rooms, amazing switched on service in perfect English from Kristi and the whole stylish, funky ambiance of the hotel, did not expect this in little Elaphonissos!

Review 30:perfect location
Review 31:The room, the location and Kristi's outstanding and careful courtesy. We will most certainly return to Elafonisos and book a room at Pallas.
Review 32:Just a word of warning about the island itself: for an island that is meant to be a 'secret' only Greeks know, it heaves with tourists in high season and bars and restaurants are priced at downtown Athens levels. That said, Simos is one of the most exquisite beaches in Greece. I arrived from Kythira and took a taxi (€20) from Neapoli to Pounda for the (€1) ferry; as I found out heading back to Athens, there's a regular bus-kaiki link from the 'bus station' (in fact, an office in a side street off the seafront) for a tenth of that price. Ask your hotel about it.
Review 33:This hotel is small (there's no breakfast room, but a good breakfast is pre-prepared in the fridge with fresh bread delivered every morning) but right on the seafront of Elafonisos and surprisingly quiet given the crowds that swamp this tiny island in high season. The staff - meaning, really, Christi on reception - were the friendliest I've ever encountered in thirty years of travelling in the islands, and went out of the way to help, with advice, pre-booking other services (even a bus from nearby mainland Neapoli to Athens) and extending checkout to accommodate my travel plans. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for modest accommodation here.
Review 34:Great stuff, very frendly atmosphere, clean, nice terrace perfect hotel for this budget. If I return to Elafonisos island, I will stay at this hotel once again:)
Review 35:Hotel is very clean at all times. Staff is very very friendly and responsive. Location of the hotel is great as well. It was real pleasure to stay there.
Review 36:Friendliness of the owner
Review 37:The interior design very nice, the furniture had nice patina
