La Tovière is situated at the foot of the ski area, Val d'Isere, across from The Funival, the fastest lift station in the resort. It is a privileged location ski enthusiasts.

Review 7：We booked for one night and once we went into our room booked for a second night! Comfortable spacious room and comfortable bed! Lovely hotel, excellent value as there were 4 of us. Great breakfast with flaky, delicious croissants. We also are dinner here one night. Great quality food and good price. Attentive service in hotel and restaurant! Would stay here again in off season in a heartbeat. Have not stayed in area in winter so can't comment on that. Not sure when they did renovation but it's a lovely place. Look forward to returning

Review 12：Family run, personal touch, speaks excellent English, able to get a few uncertain French words properly translated such as 'coupee' which was translated in dictionary as 'gangway' but is in fact 'cut'. Col Lautararet was signed posted 'Coupee' but fortunately not Col d'Iseran.
Review 13：A bit pricey given how quiet the resort was in September. Rooms were quite tight on space, the layout in our room didn't work too well - large bathroom, yet with separate WC room off the bedroom and the door was right up against the door to get into the room, also open shower meant water flooded the bathroom floor! Design mistakes that might not apply in every room though!

Review 53：I absolutely loved this hotel. Very well English speaking personnel and very, very friendly and interested. Lovely accomodation, very like american Aspen kind of lodges, lot of wood, stone, animal skin, etc. We had de basic room and to me, the only thing basic about it, was the fact that it wasn't enormous. But the most important thing in a hotel room I think, is a good bed and clean and good shower. This room had both, was clean and had that same nice atmosphere as the rest of the hotel. And maybe one of the best things: Oh my goodnes, What an amazing Chef. I just can't understand he doesn't have a michelin star. Very good plus as well: free, fast, wifi!

Review 72：The rooms were very well appointed, all new fittings and fixtures with sufficent space and a great bathroom. The facilities for keeping sports gear (skis) securely at the lower level were also very good and the restaurant / breakfast room first class.
Review 73：Luxury room and bathroom but the mirrors were too far away in the bathroom to be able to see without glasses etc. A "shaving mirror" on an extendable arm would sort this. Wardrobe good but could have done with somewhere to hang damp jacket/outdoor clothes up. e.g. hooks somewhere on wall.
Review 74：The staff were all welcoming and helpful. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in where the rooms were a comfortable temperature i.e. around 19 - 20degrees instead of 25 or more. Our room was attractive and v comfortable Food was simple but good - especially breakfast!
