Review 5:Great location, excellent value, splendid breakfast and welcoming owners. A one night stay over the Christmas period left me wishing I'd booked in for longer, a comfortable and affordable spot of superior value.

Review 6:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proprietor was very friendly, the room extremely pleasant with comfortable beds and a nice view of the sea. Bathroom has bathtub and shower combo with good water pressure and quick warm up. Breakfast was delicious! We had an omelette with wild mushrooms, eggs with smoked salmon and pancakes. All excellent quality. We were there for four nights. Short walk to sea and downtown Bangor.

Review 7:Nothing negative to say!

Review 8:Lovely house just up from the seafront. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Nice comfortable room.

Review 9:There are lots of stairs so if you have any mobility challenges this is not the place for you. My single room on the first floor had no real window. Also room had a very small closet.

Review 10:Nice homey feel, good bed and quiet for sleeping, tasty breakfast (predictable after a number of days), friendly staff. Wifi was generally good enough for a skype call, but varied by the day.

Review 15:We had an absolute great room (#2) with a great view. The breakfast was absolutely the best we had so far in Ireland. I recommend this B&B to everyone travelling Ireland.

Review 16:nothing at all.

Review 17:Everything about this place was incredible. Breakfast made me so excited to get up every morning. Views from the top floor was awesome. The house keepers were extremely hospitable and helped us do everything from find great restaurants and golf courses, to just stand and talk to us about this great country. If ever you are anywhere near Belfast, you must stay here.

Review 18:When we arrived the person greeting us English was not her first language so she had difficulty communicating with us. We eventually got the room sorted out. We only found out on the morning before we left that there was a sitting room for guests to use.

Review 19:The cooked breakfast was delicious.

Review 20:Very congenial hosts. Beautiful room and facilities. Delightfully cooked breakfasts. Very peaceful area and so close to marina harbour and coastal paths. So easy to find the way from ferry port in Belfast to Bangor. Philip and Mary are super hosts!

The B&B is located an easy walk from Bangor harbour and restaurants. Free parking. Close to the Belfast Airport where we had to return our hire car. Thank you so much.

Review 46:The owners were nice pleasant people.

Review 62:The property was well situated in a quiet part of town. It was scripulously clean. The welcome was very warm. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this accommodation to any one.

Review 63:I thought the management was someone over zealous, watching our comings and goings, where we parked, and how we brought our suitcases to our room.

Review 64:This restored guesthouse is elegantly decorated, incredible clean and well taken care of. The beds were very comfortable, there was choice in breakfast, included Wifi, and had a large bathroom -great facilities.

Review 65:The guest house got my booking wrong,i had booked a double bed in a single room, when i arrived this was explained that they had got the booking wrong, which is fair enough i thought. It turned out that i was in a single bed in a single room which to say the least was very dissapointing especially as the window in the room opened up into an enclosed corridor. While i was eating my breakfast, which was nice i have to say,i noticed a window quite close to me and there was a gentleman enjoying a cigarette outside in a garden which by no means would i class as a centre piece of the outdoors. On finishing my breakfast,as a smoker i thought i would go to this garden for a cigarette only to be told that it was private for certain rooms only. At this point obviously i was at the point of frustration and anger as i felt like a second class citizen because i had to go out the front of the guest house for a cigarette. After packing my belongings i then proceeded downstairs to pay my bill, stood for 5 minutes and after that time,i knocked on the door that said private?,the outcome of that was the lady, whom i met on my arrival the evening before quoted "i will only charge you for a single room" unquote. At this point i gave up and really just wanted the keys left back and out the door. Did she think she was doing me a favour. Very bad experience and definately would not return.

Review 66:Very little, apart from the breakfast which was good

Review 67:Would be beneficial to have do not disturb signs which would benefit the guest and also cleaning staff.
