Review 1：everything is rather old, the toilet room is very small, some furniture in the room was missing - we had only one nightstand in our superior double room. the only restaurant is overvalued. the swimming pool is just a common small pool (like in most Scandics) not a water park at all.

Review 2：Unfortunately it was not made clear that the restaurant was closed on Sunday. The information in the room said to ask Reception for opening hours. Later we found there was information on the Reception desk but it was at the bottom of one of several information sheets and we didn't see it. Luckily we just had time to get to a restaurant in town which closed at 7.30pm.P

Review 6：A great location with a walk across a bridge from the station. Our room seemed like a long walk from reception along endless corridors but boy it was worth it. The room was newly furnished with a modern bathroom and a lovely view over the lake from the balcony.

Review 9：This is an old hotel in desperate need of renovation. We had a comfortable ground floor apartment overlooking the parking... Not really attractive. Opera period of time we expected to pay more but not €300+ for something like that. By no means a 4* hotel... But in Finland stars don't means lot.

The food was good in the evening but our teenager left the restaurant still hungry (the waitress wasn't honest about the size of the steak). Even if we only stayed one night I wouldn't pay 130€ of that experience again, it could be at last a bit cheaper than it was.

You are writing an answer to e-mail - in case you exceed some minimal time, you need to enter the password again. All attempts to save the password are ineffective. Better no WiFi that this hassle

Me and my wife were here this February and we got back here again early this October.Very comfortabe and cosy place to stay, a friendly-like atmosphere, very attentive staff of the hotel to the clients' needs, the best location in Savonlinna, nice view on the nearby lake from the hotel room. We liked it very much and we have really enjoyed our stay in the hotel for 2 nights. Thank you. We will definitely come here again.

We were aware there would be no cleaning on Xmas day but very surprised to return from visits to friends and relatives to the room on Boxing day and find it just the way we left it. Not even the rubbish was taken out.
