Reviews for Hotel Ormelune

Review 1:Room we had was a little small & 'tea/coffee' making in room would have been great!

Review 2:The hotel was extremely well located, facilities were excellent, staff were very friendly & obliging, food was great! Internet worked very well, was included in the room rate & there was no maximum on data use!

Review 3:The room we booked in my onion was not cheap at seven hundred pounds for four nights. On arrival they advised they had upgraded us from a small room to a medium room. The medium room was tiny, no air and very unpleasant. In addition to the room being small and stuffy the hotel is next door to a late night bar so we had to leave the window open to breath but at 2am onwards all the drongos came out thinking the world wanted to hear them sing. Furthermore the hotel has 3 bright lights that shine up the front of the hotel and illuminate the bedroom to an unbearable degree. After a sleepless night we spoke to the desk staff who were very understanding but had to wait until the manager approved a move to the other side of the hotel, I guess reserved for the French. The manageress was curt, blunt, surly and so uninterested I could not believe she worked in the same hotel as the staff. We paid more and got moved and all was well and even the manageress seemed to soften after a few days but I would not stay again.

Review 4:Very central and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Review 5:Avoir des lits jumeaux alors que nous sommes en couple et quand nous avons fait la demande ce n était possible que dans les suites !!!!

Review 6:La décoration originale

Review 7:It is above a night club. The noise until 3 am is discracegul. They couldn't/wouldn't move me to a room on the other side of the building. I would NEVER stay here again!

Review 8:Location and staff

Review 9:Would be helpful to have brighter lighting in the room for reading at night, and in the bathroom. Breakfast a little basic. But overall really liked this hotel, great place to stay in Val

Review 10:The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful. Extremely comfortable and spacious room.

Review 11:Couldn't get to sleep until 4am because of noise from bars and people on the street directly below. Noise proofing in hotel could be much better.

Review 12:Huge breakfast, lots of bacon, sausage and eggs. Comfortable bed, kind and helpful hosts.

Review 13:Slightly aloof staff, bar closed earlier than advertised, could really do with room service and a room fridge or mini bar.

Review 14:Location, room size, kids bunks, views from the room.

Review 15:Cutlery and crockery were often not cleaned properly

Review 16:Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 17:Wifi a little hit and miss. Needs tea making facility in bedrooms.

Review 18:Lovely bedrooms. Breakfast great.

Review 19:The breakfast could have a bit more diverse

Review 20:The friendliness of the staff, the comfort

Review 21:.A great position near the slopes.Such helpful staff throughout the hotel.

Review 22:Nothing

Review 23:All of it

Review 24:No water/glasses left in the room so I became very dehydrated overnight.

Review 25:The lounge area and central position in val d'Isere.

Review 26:Great for a quiet summer retreat in the mountains.

Review 27:Access to the ski room was a little difficult and couldn't get lockers to work.

Review 28:Friendly atmosphere. Good breakfast. Nice decor. Great location. Really nice stay.

Review 29:Plug in bath, but extremely minor

Review 30:Modern, fun decor,light and airy,very kind and helpful staff,rooms good size,clean,great view,modern bathroom,great location to skiing,shops and restaurants.

Review 31:Breakfast was a bit monotonous (reliably very good, but not a single item changed over the week). If you want to do work (as in reading, writing), the room is not designed for this. Small desk no lamp.

Review 32:Best was "no problem" attitude. This may be rare in France, but it was included as standard in Ormelune. Staff are universaly friendly and helpful. Hotel is very central, 3 minutes from the food shop and close to the lifts (better on the way back, more of a walk at the start of the day). Rooms are comfy and bathrooms are small but nice. City view is a better option unless you insist on a balcony. The "locker room" with shower for the last day is a top invention. Ski, shower, get luggage and off you go! Would come back.

Review 33:They didn't provide s double bed, 2 separate once were quiteinconvenient.

Review 34:The hotel was clean, very close to the slopes and the staff was quitefriendly particularly for France. Very nice sauna and steam room

Review 35:Hotel is very warm

Review 36:Amazing hotel, friendly and accommodating staff, great ski in location, great for kids - we were travelling with a 1 yr old and it was the best experience

Review 37:Staff, location

Review 38:Bar next door, so could hear people talking outside at 4am. Advise staying in a room facing the slopes.

Review 39:Location, staff, facilities, cleanliness.

Review 40:Only one minor point - pillows too soft.

Review 41:Convenient location, helpful, friendly staff, intimate atmosphere.

Review 42:Wi-Fi is very poor.

Review 43:Everything about Hotel Ormelune is perfect. Location, stuff, sleaness and athmosfere.

Review 44:Convenient comfortable and cosy location, hotel had all facilities and such friendly staff will definitely return back there.

Review 45:From outside the hotel looks so so ...

Review 46:Everythinng inside the hotel
