Reviews for Les Crêtes Blanches

Review 1:Great location, very close to the slopes, and next door to bars and restaurants. Car parking is literally over the road and a reasonable price, which the hotel arranged for us. Breakfasts were good. Rooms are small but nice and did the job for us.

Review 2:Never ever book this hotel!Night club is immediately under you windows and we couldn't sleep the whole night long because of permanentely screaming. As a guest's booked through booking.com we had to pay for the dinner on 5.01 and 6.01.Other guests get it free of charge.

Review 3:Friendly personal Close to ski lifts Nice view

Review 4:The room was small but OK for a couple of nights, we did choose the cheapest room. Parking expensive in town centre. Better to leave in open car park at edge of town and use shuttle bus once unloaded.

Review 5:Lovely staff. Excellent location for ski lifts and situated in middle of town. Large cosy lounge with open log fire. Great breakfast

Review 6:Great location in the heart of the village, friendly and efficient reception staff and a good breakfast. The season hasn't started yet but the heating was on and a very pleasant room

Review 7:In the middle of town , great for my cycling road trip stopover on route to Italy, free parking over the road , even got to ride up the Col de I’ Iseran , win win all round

Review 8:A lot of stairs to move luggage up, but our room was the only room with a nice view available.

Review 9:Lucy at the reception desk - she put us on to a good restaurant (on a Monday when much is closed) and was helpful in many ways.

Review 10:We arrived in the off-season on motorbikes and no one was there to check us in. We had to call their emergency number. They sent someone over to let us in about 40 mins later. Pretty inconvenient after a 7 hour motorcycle ride through the Alps. But on the positive side, we had the whole place to ourselves. :)

Review 11:Nice place, well kept and good location.

Review 12:no connection for our Chromecast

Review 13:everything was very good and the people are very nice and clever (thanks for the cork remover as well as the glasses). The ski room is perfect even the shoes are heated...

Review 14:Proximite discotheque et bar. Bruit certains soirs et nuits. Tarifs parking.

Review 15:Situation au centre du village. Tous commerces et proximite depart des pistes. Proximite parking. Ambiance interieure. Buffet petit dejeuner.

Review 16:the WiFi is rather slow, but it is free of charge - so should I complain?

Review 17:1. The hotel is literally 5 minutes walk from the central ski lift stations. 2. The staff is affable and helpful

Review 18:Everything! Cheap, cheerful and the staff were outstanding. Great breakfast and the two complementary meals we had on the Tuesday and Thursday were great! Beautiful little 3 * Hotel

Review 19:No parking and it's quite expensive although they sorted a space for me at the underground car park opposite the hotel which is very convenient.

Review 20:The hotel is in a great position for the lifts as well as the town and is clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was fairly basic but no complaints. I'll definitely come again and stay at this hotel.

Review 21:A little too close to the nightclub. We were lucky as our room overlooked the town so away from the potential noise.

Review 22:Polite, friendly staff who could not do enough to help. Thanks Nikki, Lucy and Aziz. Excellent choice at breakfast. 3 min walk to the main ski lift. Room super clean.

Review 23:The never ending noise from the next door Night Club kept us up some nights.

Review 24:Great location, walking distance to the lifts. Great Breakfast, choice of hot and cold plates. Fresh Fruits, Eggs, Brewed Coffee. Very helpful staff. Free Wifi. We were able to get lift passes from the front desk which was very convenient.

Review 25:There is a night club near by. There can be brawls and noise early hours of the morning.

Review 26:Clean comfortable accommodation. Great location for Restuarants and bars and access to ski slopes.

Review 27:27 of us travelled for a week's skiing in Val d'isere. The hotel was great and in a super location. We could walk to the chair lift or gondola in 2 minutes each morning and after a long day skiing it was great to be so central to be able to eat where we liked. Our group have been skiing together for the past few years in different resorts and Les Cretes Blanche is definitely up there as one of our best trips.

Review 28:the coffee wasn't the best I tasted, but coffee in france for me is too bitter.

Review 29:The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, able to get me discounts on ski rental equipment and lift pass. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have ever tasted - great hot eggs, bacon, fruit, juices, etc...

Review 30:Can't think of anything!

Review 31:We had a room with a mountain view which looked onto the Olympic piste. We were able to watch the weekly torchlit descent from the comfort of our bedroom- Fantastic! The bed was massive and very comfortable and it was good to have a soak in the bath after a day on the slopes. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Hope to return.

Review 32:Nothing. Everything was great.

Review 33:Really well located - very close to the main ski lifts. Helpful and friendly staff. Very decent breakfast. Overall, we were very happy with this hotel.

Review 34:Nothing

Review 35:Close to slopes, shops, bars. Comfortable rooms, hearty breakfast everyday and 2 traditional dinners in the price. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I've stayed here a few times over the years and will continue to do so.

Review 36:Décor in need of an update. Room cleaning not great with tea and coffee not replaced or cups washed.

Review 37:Reception Staff were very helpful both during booking and actual stay. Hotel central to resort and short walk from main lifts. Good value in an expensive resort.

Review 38:The breakfast was poor and basic, We visited in October and the villagewas empty! Only 1 or 2 cafes open...

Review 39:The staff was excellent, Room was nice, Beautiful view!

Review 40:I booked a different branch of the hotel, and so I didn't spend the night there; however, they refunded me which is great service! Also, I stayed in Hotel Chamonix, which is it's sister hotel, and I have no complaints about that stay!

Review 87:Location was good, near ski lifts. Staff speaks great English

Review 88:Room quite small.

Review 89:Staff very friendly, all spoke good English. Great location, 80 metres from the snow and 50 from the main street. Free Wi-fi which worked well. Hot water at all the peak times. Able to buy lift passes at reception. Breakfast more than adequate

Review 90:Great location. literally 100meters from ski lift. 30 feet from the main street with all the restaurants & bars. very nice staff. friendly, very good English & help you with getting lift passes directly from them at the front desk. breakfast is ok, not super great, but enough options to fill you up for the day on the slopes. I was by myself so I got a single room. A bit small but I wasn't in the room much besides sleeping so really didn't care. wifi was free & worked great everywhere in hotel. Boot & ski room in right downstairs. the covered parking is not free, about 20Euros/day, across the street. very convenient so it's not cheap. You should call hotel ahead of time to arrange the parking as there is high demand for it. They helped me reserve it ahead of my visit.

Review 91:Next to a noisy night club.

Review 92:Great staff, helpful putting our breakfast even though missed times. Room clean, new, nice bathroom. Location 100m to slopes right in center.

Review 93:be careful before you book. I wanted to book the hotel in Chamonix, but... accidently.. it was wrong. they have exactly the same name hotel but different hotel location. therefore, we spent money for nothing.

Review 94:Our room was so small there was no where to put your luggage, made the late night toilet stop a bit tricky

Review 95:The staff were awesome, really friendly and down to earth, no calling you sir, just regular people doing a great job and genuinely cared about how your stay was. Won't get a much better location
