Reviews for Port Lympne Hotel
Review 1:Not the easiest place to find and getting from the car park to reception is a bit of a climb. The light level in the room was a bit low if you want to read.
Review 2:The staff were really friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and full of character. Also, the food in the restaurant was excellent and not over-priced in my opinion.
Review 3:only 12 guests at breakfast but the hotel was unable to offer all of the item on the menu. there was only enough porridge for 1 guest and no smoked salmon.
Review 4:the exclusivity
Review 5:Breakfast orders were wrong Tables for breakfast not set up for our whole group Seems to be no communcation between staff
Review 6:Location Safari Bridal suite Dinner
Review 7:The shower in the Baker room was really really bad. No pressure on the tap at all. The waiters were all very sweet and serviceminded, but some of them could need to get their waiter training updated....if they have ever got that.
Review 8:The location was fantastic
Review 9:Only a problem trying to draw our curtains!
Review 10:Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and location in the park was brilliant. All in all great stay. Would highly recommend:)
Review 11:There was what appears to be a temporary problem with the WiFi on the weekend when we visited, which I am sure is not a permanent issue.
Review 12:A lovely building full of art on the walls in a beautiful location, with the sounds of wildlife all around young. We visited both animal parks and enjoyed early and late access to see the animals on-site. The work in the parks to preserve and reintroduce rare breeds was done with huge dedication.
Review 13:There is nothing we didn't like.
Review 14:We stayed at port lympne mansion hotel in the T.Lawrence suite, this was actually our small honey moon break. The actual hotel is steeped in history, our room was beautiful and comfortable inc the little bed they put out for our daughter. We were kindly given a tour around the hotel and the stunning grounds and informed of it's history and famous guests of the past...... all before we got showed to our gorgeous room. We dined listening to the tigers and lions roar and woke up hearing them in the morning......the actual animal reserve is so vast it took us two days to get round the whole of it to ensure we got to see all the amazing animals, this included two safaris in the safari tour trucks, we were in awe at the whole place. On the third day we went to howletts which was equally charming and a pleasure to walk around. I could write and write about how amazing this place is, but I'm simple going to say, if your looking to go stay in this place; just go don't hesitate, we loved it and had an amazing three days. We are already looking to go back again next year.

Review 16:Not organised and no staff at breakfast. The one member of staff they did put on , had received no training. When I asked to see a manager they was no one available until lunch time .

Review 22:Lovely historic mansion, very comfortable and clean. Staff were great and so was the food. And best off all..access to the zoo throughout the stay
Review 23:The only comment would be perhaps to have a lamp on the seating table to be able to read by.
