Reviews for Hôtel Le Diva

Review 1:The room, the bar, the breakfast, the local bars and restos.

Review 2:All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The ease of getting a young family of mad skiers from bed to the best slopes.

Review 3:Uncomfortable beds. Manager told the receptionist off in front of us for allowing us to use her computer to book a transfer! Very very unprofessional! Unfriendly bar staff! Recyling bins in entrance welcomed you with an awful smell!

Review 4:Location is great for chair lift access. Restaurant staff were exceptional! Spacious hotel with nice bar area and seating areas.

Review 5:The "free" internet did not work very well. When you could actually login, it was "dial-up" slow. The hotel should seriously consider upgrading their network.

Review 6:The wait staff was EXCELLENT! They go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Review 7:food not hot enough when served not enough storage space for clothes in the room

Review 8:Easy access to ski slopes friendly staff sauna and hammam available all day

Review 9:Accommodation is very basic, but it is a 3* hotel, so probably right for the rating. Some Veggie option in the evening was not quite vegetarian... Beds are a bit small

Review 10:Plentiful breakfasts, high rooms very quiet a night, very near lifts

Review 11:Door handle jumped off The expected 24-h open reception clerk was away The receptionist had not the correct info on village transports

Review 12:Food/Meals The waiters from East Europe tried hard and friendly to speak english Close to the ski lifts

Review 13:Spa very basic, small saunas you have to book in advance. Quite small rooms.

Review 14:Best location possible for skiing in Val Claret - 2 min walk to slopes. Not luxury, but comfortable for those looking for a ski holiday. Very good buffet dinner.

Review 15:At the lower side of town and some elevatores we're not working. Hard walking up hill with gear. Room smelled funy.

Review 16:Good food Quiet room with good bed

Review 17:The staff were really friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Benjamen who helped us with our return travel arrangements. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff were very happy to help too and provided some gluten free bread for our daughter. The location was brilliant.

Review 18:Food was not good except the salad bar which was ok. Should have been more choice and more vegetables and salads (food was very heavy...). Wine on the expensive side. Facilities to dry your ski boots would be appreciated!

Review 19:Excellent location, friendly staff. The hammam (free) and parking (in the hotel) were also appreciated!

Review 20:The scruffy over crowded restaurant was the worst I have experienced in 30 years of ski holidays in Europe. The alternative Savoie restaurant on the ground floor was closed for two of our three nights. We ate out even thoigh we paid for half board. Disgraceful.

Review 21:It is opposite the ski lift.

Review 22:Light in ski room switched off after about 2 minutes. Should be fitted with a motion detector

Review 23:Located 100m from the lifts, slopes & Funicular to the Glacier. Could not be better. Half Board & food was excellent.

Review 24:Nothing not to like :-)

Review 25:The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. The food was excellent.

Review 26:Staff not very friendly

Review 29:No tea or coffee facilities in the room

Review 30:Very kind and helpfull staff

Review 31:No room service very poor wifi

Review 32:Location, staff and food

Review 33:Small room Bed was uncomfortable, mattress had bad quality

Review 35:Desk unmaned after 10.30 pm. Have to go to 1 floor for Staff attention after 10.30pm

Review 36:Nice staff.

Review 37:The location is excellent. Good choice of food.

Review 38:Wifi and food.

Review 39:Location and staff

Review 40:The only downside was that all the food and drink (water for the tea) was luke warm.

Review 41:Good selection of vegetarian food

Review 42:no boot drying terrible wi-fi in rooms bad spa-zone

Review 43:near key lifts rather good food

Review 44:Rooms were hot, small

Review 45:Excellent location to lifts and wide selection of skiing Lots of food selection

Review 46:Breakfast was average & monotonous - cold scrambled eggs, every, day. WiFi didn't work at peak times (7-9am and 5-8pm)

Review 47:Easy access to the piste (one of the best hotels in Tignes for position) Friendly, helpful staff - they even annotated a map for us

Review 48:We specifically wanted internet so the inadequate low bandwidth was very disappointing. We appreciate it was one of the busiest weeks in the year for the hotel but we were only able to access emails very early in the morning or from 11pm at night. One of our group chose to pay for internet from her mobile provider for the duration of the holiday as she was unable to get on the hotel's wifi.

Review 49:Food was good. Food and bar staff were very good. Reception were efficient, helpful & friendly. Our triple room was comfortable but only just big enough for three adults.

Review 50:Quite slow check-in process (I think we were unlucky arriving shortly after a package holiday bus) - but we queued for over 25 minutes Didn't like having to leave after 1 week - we would have gladly stayed much longer!!

Review 51:Really friendly staff Evening buffet dinner delicious Great variety of meals Free wine & beer was an unexpected bonus Fantastic location - ski to door & 1 minute from the chairlift. Rooms & bathrooms very clean Free wi-fi ( with pretty good speed) Good variety at breakfast-time This was our 4th stay at Hotel Diva & the hotel was even better than last year

Review 52:Lack of Jacuzzi/hot tub or swimming pool, only one secure ski/snowboard locker available per room (room sleeps 4 - locker holds two boards), poor service at time of checkout, wifi service limited.

Review 53:Very clean, friendly staff in the restaurant, inclusive drinks, ideal location, good food.

Review 54:Water was sometimes tepid not hot.

Review 55:Crystal Ski organised amazing tours and adventures from the hotel. Proximity to 3 lifts and the funicular. Awesome atmosphere.

Review 56:Wi-Fi weak

Review 57:Close to the elevators Excellent attitude of the staff Value for money is Great

Review 58:The location was ideal for skiing and the staff very friendly & helpful.

Review 59:Friendly staff and nice room. The location is excellent.
