Review 1：You get excellent value for money from the owner of this wee local pub. Friendly, helpful staff & spotless rooms plus an enormous full English breakfast thats not to be missed - especially if you've a busy outdoors Lake District day planned! Would happily stay here again in the future.

Review 5：We were very lucky to have the room two floors above the pub. Being closer to the pub (which is very noisy) would have made for a bad experience but we had a gorgeous one. Very quiet, very nice, would always book again.

Review 7：The rooms are well appointed and clean. The beds are comfortable. The cookies in the room was a nice thoughtful touch, which shows that the host succeeded in making us to feel at home. The staff are cheerful and pleasant.
Review 8：Excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the B&B and the pub.The staff were very friendly. We used this as a base to travel to the various beautiful parts of the lakes. 30 mins from conniston and ambleside and about an hour to windermere traveling through amazing scenery. Immediate area of the B&B isnt as picturesque but the cleanliness & comfort of the room and friendliness of staff made up for it.
Review 9：Everything;loved our room, very clean (im ocd), great location, very nice owners (we broke down with our car so that we didnt manage to arrive in time for Check-In and the owner stayed up until 2am to welcome us) - we will be back next year. Thank you!
Review 10：Fortunately we phoned to ask if the dining room would still be open at 8.30pm and found that the bar and restaurant was closed on Mondays. there are other places to eat in the town

On all areas of service they were superb .i balance everywhere i stay with the cost and the service they provide and i would happily stay there again which i am currently sorting some dates to stay again.staff are the nicest and friendly i have ever met
Review 14：The last shower was cold, probably because other guests took all the hot water. However, it was back within 30 minutes.
